The Impact of Online EducationIn the era of digital transformation, online education has emerged as a revolutionary force in the field of learning. It has the potential to democratize education by making it accessible to a wider audience, regardless of geographical boundaries.Firstly, online education offers flexibility that traditional classroom settings cannot match. Students can learn at their own pace and schedule, which is particularly beneficial for working adults or those with family responsibilities. This flexibility allows learners to balance education with other aspects of their lives, fostering a more inclusive learning environment.Secondly, the cost-effectiveness of online courses is another compelling advantage. The absence of physical infrastructure and transportation costs can significantly reduce the financial burden on students. This makes higher educationmore affordable and attainable for a larger demographic. However, the effectiveness of online education is often debated. Critics argue that it lacks the personal interaction and immediate feedback that are integral to the learning process. The impersonal nature of online learning can also lead to a lack of motivation and engagement among students. In conclusion, while online education presents numerous benefits, it is essential to address its limitations to ensure that it complements rather than replaces traditional learning methods. A blended approach that combines the best of both worlds could be the key to unlocking the full potential of education in the digital age.

Directions:You have just come back from Canada and found a music CD in your luggage that you forgot toreturn to Bob, your landlord there. Write him a letter to1)make an apology, and2)suggest a solution例文:Dear Bob:开头:我写此信的目的是为了向你道歉。

Had I paid more attention then, I wouldn’t have made such a stupid mistake.

Possible essay:The Importance of Being Resilient。

Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity, to adapt to change, and to persevere despite setbacks. In today's world, where challenges and uncertainties abound, resilience is a vital skill that can help us cope with stress, overcome obstacles, and achieve our goals. In this essay, I will argue that being resilient is essential for personal and professional success, and that it can be developed through a combination of mindset, skills, and support.Firstly, a resilient mindset is characterized by optimism, self-efficacy, and growth. Optimism means havinga positive outlook on life, even in the face ofdifficulties. It involves seeing setbacks as temporary, specific, and external, rather than permanent, pervasive, and personal. Self-efficacy means believing in one'sability to handle challenges and achieve goals. It involves setting realistic expectations, breaking down tasks into manageable steps, and seeking feedback and support. Growth means embracing change and learning from experience. It involves being open-minded, curious, and reflective, and seeking opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge.Secondly, resilient skills are those that enable us to cope with stress, solve problems, and communicate effectively. Coping skills include relaxation, mindfulness, and social support. Relaxation means engaging in activities that reduce tension, such as exercise, meditation, or hobbies. Mindfulness means being present and aware of one's thoughts, feelings, and sensations, without judgment or distraction. Social support means seeking and providing emotional, informational, and instrumental assistance from and to others. Problem-solving skills include defining the problem, generating alternatives, evaluating options, and implementing solutions. Communication skills include listening, questioning, clarifying, and expressing oneself clearly and assertively.Thirdly, resilient support is the network of people and resources that can help us cope with stress, learn from experience, and achieve our goals. Support can come from various sources, such as family, friends, colleagues, mentors, coaches, therapists, or organizations. Support can also take various forms, such as emotional, informational, instrumental, or appraisal. Emotional support meansreceiving empathy, validation, and encouragement from others. Informational support means receiving advice, guidance, and feedback from others. Instrumental support means receiving tangible assistance, such as money, time,or materials, from others. Appraisal support meansreceiving feedback, recognition, and evaluation from others. In conclusion, being resilient is not only a desirable trait, but also a learnable skill that can enhance ourwell-being, productivity, and success. By cultivating a resilient mindset, developing resilient skills, and seeking resilient support, we can face challenges with confidence, adapt to change with flexibility, and pursue our goals withpersistence. Therefore, let us embrace resilience as a way of life, and let us inspire others to do the same.。

Topic 3: The boom of overseas traveling industry From the bar chart given above, we can observe that the number of people traveling abroad experienced some changes during the past several years. From 1999 to 2000, the number of Chinese people traveling abroad increased rapidly from 7.5 million to 10 million, and then to 12.1 million in 2001.The bar chart reveals that people in mounting numbers are going to travel abroad. What exactly contribute to this phenomenon? Reasons can be listed as follows: for one thing, the authorities have issued some preferential policies to promote the development of the overseas tourism industry, which encourages a sudden emergence of travel agencies that can provide customers with convenient overseas tourism services. Additionally, with the improvement of financial status and purchasing power, a considerable number of Chinese people can afford the once-deemed-expensive traveling expenses. Last but not least, as there exists huge difference in cultures, customs and landscapes between China and overseas countries, quite a few people hold that overseas traveling is not only a perfect way to relax oneself, but also enrich their knowledge and expand their horizons.By observing the past trends, we may forecast that the growth tendency will continue. However,it is also a highly variable industry which is vulnerable to seasons and climates, international political situation, fluctuations in exchange. Global E-commerce turnoverFrom the curve chart given above, we can observe that the turnover of global E-commerce experienced some change during the past several years. From 1997 to 2005, it rose dramatically from 20 billion to 900 billion. The curve chart reveals that the global E-commerce industry enjoys an explosive growth. Quite a few reasons can be listed to account for this phenomenon, and the followings might be the most critical ones: for one thing, the authorities of different countries have issued some preferential policies to protect and encourage the development of E-commerce, thus quite a few online-transaction websites emerge overnight. Moreover, theone-click-payment consumption mode has been widely accepted by the public thanks to the widespread availability of the Internet. Last but not least, people’s decision to purchase on-line can also be put down to the power of so-called “group-dynamics”: when our friends are shopping at network, we will be influenced by them and imitate their behaviors unconsciously. The rapid development of E-commerce signals that new business models contribute largely to the sustainable development of the global economy. However, when enjoying the fruits offered by modern technology, we should also keep an eye on the underlying threat of it. In a world features open boundary, deception and fraud sometime abound. Different job inclination between boys and girls From the bar chart given above, we can find that it reflects the statistics of profession inclination between girls and boys. Most obviously, 40% of boys intend to be a manager, with only 15% of girls choosing this job. When it comes to the profession of teacher, we can observe that 45% of girls prefer to take this job, while the proportion of boys only account for 5%, 40% lower than that of girls. The bar chart informs us of the phenomenon that there exists some difference in profession inclination between boys and girls. What exactly contribute to this phenomenon ? reasons can be listed as follow: for one thing, quite a few boys regard being a manager as a symbol of success. As this profession stands for promising futures, fat pay and competence. Moreover, boys’ decision to be a manager can also be attributed to the power of so-called “group dynamics”: when members of their social network prefer to be a manager after graduation, they are easily influenced and imitate others’ behavior unconsciously or consciously. When it comes to girls, the are more inclined to be a teacher. As this profession features stability and respect. Takesocial and biological factors into account, we know that it is reasonable for girl to choose teacher as their ideal profession goals. Both girls and boys have rights to choose their profession. However, one thing we should bear in mind is that there exists no better or worse, superior or inferior jobs, but suitable and satisfactory ones. The changes of Chinese professionsFrom the pie chart given above, we can observe that the professions structure of Chinese people experienced some changes during the past several years. From 1980 to 1999, the percentage of agricultural professions decreased by 30% from 68% to 38%. During the same period, however, service sectors increased rapidly from 5% to 22%. When it comes to the manufacturing professions, its percentage rose markedly from 27% in 1980 to 40% in 1999.The pie chart reveals the phenomenon that there exists some difference in the development tendency among different professions in China. What exactly contribute to this phenomenon ? reasons can be listed as follows: for one thing, with the rapid process of urbanization, people in mounting numbers, especially youngster, have left their village homes ,moved into big cities and thus been out of agricultural industries. Moreover, quite a few people, especially college graduates hold that it is comparatively easy for them to make more money inthe service industry. When it comes to the manufacturing industry, its transformation might be attributed to the adjustment of industrial structure: the authorities have issued some preferential policies to promote the rapid extension of manufacturing industry, thus, more workforces are required.By observing the change over the past several years, we may forecast that the proportion of professions of service and manufacture will continue to rise. However, a high value should be placed on the development of agricultural industry by the public and the authorities. Otherwise, with the number of people who are engaged in agriculture diminishing, we will one day have nothing to eat!

In the realm of human existence, where dreams and aspirations intertwine with challenges and struggles, the path we tread is often marked by both triumphs and tribulations. It is within these experiences that our true selves are forged, our resilience tested, and our capacity for growth and transformation revealed.Like a tapestry woven with intricate threads, our lives are composed of countless moments, each leaving its own unique imprint upon our souls. Some may be vibrant and joyous, filling us with a sense of exhilaration and fulfillment. Others may be somber and arduous, leaving us feeling weary and disheartened. Yet, it is through the interplay of these contrasting hues that we discover the true depth and beauty of our human journey. As we navigate the complexities of life, we mayencounter trials that test our limits and push us to the brink of despair. It is in these moments that we must draw upon reserves of strength we never knew we possessed. Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, we must find within ourselves the fortitude to overcome adversity and emerge stronger than before.Along our path, we may also encounter triumphs that fill us with pride and elation. These moments serve as beacons of hope, reminding us of our capabilities and the boundless possibilities that lie ahead. They inspire us to set our sights higher, to dream bigger, and to relentlessly pursue our passions. However, it is not solely through our own efforts that we achieve greatness. Throughout our lives, we are surrounded by individuals who play a profound role in shaping our destinies. Mentors, friends, and loved ones offer guidance, support, and encouragement, helping us to unlock our potential and reach heights we never thought possible. As we reflect upon our life experiences, both the triumphs and the tribulations, we come to appreciate the fragility and preciousness of our existence. We learn to cherish the moments we have with those we love, to embrace the beauty of the natural world, and to live each day with a profound sense of gratitude. In the tapestry of life, our experiences, both bitter and sweet, weave together an intricate and meaningful pattern. They shape who we are, mold our character, and ultimately determine the legacy we leave behind. It is through the crucible of life's challenges and the celebration of its joys that we discover our true purpose and fulfill our human potential.

The topic of employing artificial intelligence (AI) in the education system is a multifaceted issue with both potential benefits and ethical implications. On the one hand, AI has the potential to transform education by personalizing learning experiences, improving accessibility, and automating administrative tasks. On the other hand, concerns about bias, privacy, and job displacement raise questions about the responsible implementation of AI in the classroom. One of the main advantages of using AI in education is its ability to personalize learning experiences. AI-powered platforms can track students' progress, identify areaswhere they need extra support, and provide them with customized learning materials. This can help students to learn at their own pace and to focus on the areas wherethey need the most improvement.AI can also improve accessibility to education. AI-powered virtual tutors can provide students with 24/7 support, regardless of their location or socioeconomic background. This can help to break down barriers to education and to provide more equitable opportunities for all students. In addition to personalizing learning experiences and improving accessibility, AI can also automateadministrative tasks. This can free up teachers' time so that they can focus on more important tasks, such as providing individualized support to students. For example, AI can be used to grade assignments, schedule classes, and track student attendance. However, there are also some potential ethical concerns that need to be considered before AI can be widely adopted in the education system. One of the biggest concerns is bias. AI algorithms are only as good as the data they are trained on. If the data is biased, then the algorithm will also be biased. This could lead to AI systems making unfairor discriminatory decisions about students.Another concern is privacy. AI systems collect a lot of data about students, including their academic performance, behavior, and demographics. This data could be used to track students' activities or to target them with advertising. It is important to develop strong privacy protections to ensure that students' data is not misused. Finally, there is the concern of job displacement. As AI systems become more sophisticated, they may be able to automate many of the tasks that are currently performed by teachers. This could lead to job losses and to a decreasein the quality of education. It is important to develop policies that will ensure that AI is used to augment the work of teachers, not to replace them.In conclusion, the use of AI in the education system has the potential to transform education by personalizing learning experiences, improving accessibility, and automating administrative tasks. However, there are also some potential ethical concerns that need to be consideredbefore AI can be widely adopted in the classroom. It is important to develop strong policies that will ensure that AI is used responsibly and ethically in order to maximize its benefits and minimize its risks.

Answer the questions after each text by choosing A, B, C or D. Mark your answers on ANSWER SHEET. (40 points)Text 1On a recent sunny day, 13,000 chickens roam over Larry Brown’s 40 windswept acres in Shiner, Texas. Some rest in the shade of a parked car. Others drink water with the cows. This all seems random, but it’s by design, part of what the $6.1 billion U.S. egg industry bets will be its next big thing: climate-friendly eggs. These eggs, which are making their debut now on shelves for as much as $8 a dozen, are still labeled organic and animal-friendly, but they’re also from birds that live on farms using regenerative agriculture-special techniques to cultivate rich soils that can trap green-house gases. Such eggs could be marketed as helping to fight climate change.“I’ m excited about our progress," says Brown, who harvests eggs for Denver-based Nest Fresh Eggs and is adding more cover crops that draw worms and crickets for the chickens to eat. The birds' waste then fertilizes fields. Such improvements “allow our hens to forage for higher-quality natural feed that will be good for the land, the hens, and the eggs that we supply to our customers.”The egg industry’s push is the first major test of whether animal products from regenerative farms can become the next premium offering. In barely more than a decade, organic eggs went from being dismissed as a niche product in natural foods stores to being sold at Walmart. More recently there were similar doubts about probiotics and plant-based meats, but both have exploded into major supermarket categories. If the sustainable-egg roll out is successful,it could open the floodgates for regenerative beef, broccoli, and beyond.Regenerative products could be a hard sell, because the concept is tough to define quickly, says Julie Stanton, associate professor of agricultural economics at Pennsylvania State University Brandywine. Such farming also brings minimal, if any improvement to the food products (though some producers say their eggs have more protein). The industry is betting that the same consumers paying more for premium attributes such as free-range, non-GMO, and pasture-raised eggs will embrace sustainability. Surveys show that younger generations are more concerned about climate change, and some of the success of plant-based meat can be chalked up to shoppers wanting to signal their desire to protect the environment. Young adults “really care about the planet,” says John Brunnquell, president of Egg Innovations. “They are absolutely altering the food chain beyond what I think even they understand what they’re doing.”1. The climate-friendly eggs are produced_____A. at a considerably low costB. at the demand of regular shoppersC. as a replacement for organic eggsD. on specially designed farms2. Larry Brown is excited about his progress in_____A. reducing the damage of wormsB. accelerating the disposal of wasteC. creating a sustainable systemD. attracting customers to his products3. The example of organic eggs is used in the Paragraph 4 to suggest_____A. the doubts to over natural foodsB. the setbacks in the eggs industryC. the potential of regenerative productsD. the promotional success of supermarkets4. It can be learned from the last paragraph that young people_____A. are reluctant to change their dietB. are likely to buy climate-friendly eggsC. are curious about new foodD. are amazed at agricultural advances5. John Brunnquell would disagree with Julie Stanton ever regenerative products’_____A. Markets prospectsB. Nutritional valueC. Standard definitionD. Moral implicationsText 2More Americans are opting to work well into retirement, a growing trend that threatens to upend the old workforce model. One in three Americans who are at least 40 have, or plan to have a job in retirement to prepare for a longer life, according to a survey conducted by Harris Poll for TD Ameritrade. Even more surprising is that more than half of "unretirees"—those who plan to work in retirement or went back to work after retiring— said they would be employed in their later years even if they had enough money to settle down, the survey showed.Financial needs aren't the only culprit for the "unretirement" trend. Other reasons, according to the study. Include personal fulfillment such as staying mentally fit, preventing boredom or avoiding depression “The concept of retirement is evolving." said Christine Russell, senior manager of retirement at TD Ameritrade. “It's not just about finances. The value of work is also driving folks to continue working past retirement.”One reason for the change in retirement patterns: Americans are living longer. Older Americans are also the fastest-growing segment of the U.S. workforce. The percentage of retirement-age people in the labor force has doubled over the past three decades. About 20% of people 65 and older were in the workforce in February 2019, up from an all-time low of 10% in January 1985, according to money manager United IncomeBecause of longer life spans, Americans are also boosting their savings to preserve their nest eggs, the TD Ameritrade study showed, which surveyed 2.000 adults between 40 to 79.Six in 10"unretirees"are increasing their savings in anticipation of a longer life. Among the most popular ways they are doing this, the company said, is by reducing their overall expenses, securing life insurance or maximizing their contributions to retirement accounts Unfortunately, many people who are opting to work in retirement are preparing to do so because they are worried about making ends meet in their later years, said Brent Weiss, a co-founder at Baltimore-based financial-planning firm Facet Wealth. He suggested that pre-retirees should speak with a financial advisor to set long-term financial goals.“The most challenging moments in life are getting married, starting a family and ultimately retiring," Weiss said. “It's not just a financial decision, but an emotional one. Many people believe they can't retire."26. The survey conducted by Harris Poll indicates that_____A. over half of the retirees are physically fit for workB. the old workforce is as active as the younger oneC. one in three Americans enjoy earlier retirementD. more Americans are willing to work in retirement27. It can be inferred from Paragraph 3 that Americans tend to think that_____A. retirement may cause problems for themB. boredom can be relieved after retirementC. the mental health of retirees is overlookedD. “unretirement” contributes to the economy28. Retirement patterns are changing partly due to_____A. labor shortagesB. population growthC. longer life expectancyD. rising living costs29. Many “unretirees” are increasing their savings by_____A. investing more in stocksB. taking up odd jobsC. getting well-paid workD. spending less30. With regard to retirement, Brent Weiss thinks that many people are_____A. unpreparedB. UnafraidC. disappointedD. enthusiasticText 3We have all encountered them in both our personal and professional lives. Think about the times you felt tricked o frustrated by a membership or subscription that had a seamless sign-up process but was later difficult to cancel. Something that should be simple and transparent can be complicated, intentionally or unintentionally, in ways that impair consumer choice. There are examples of dark patterns.First coined in 2010 by user experience expert Harry Brignull, “dark patterns" is a catch-all term for practices that manipulate user interfaces to influence the decision-making ability of users. Brignull identifies 12 types of common dark patterns, ranging from misdirection and hidden costs to “roach motel," where a user experience seems easy and intuitive at the start, but turns difficult when the user tries to get out.In a 2019 study of 53,000 product pages and 11,000 websites, researchers found that about one in 10 employs these design practices. Though widely prevalent, the concept of dark patterns is still not well understood. Business and nonprofit leaders should be aware of dark patterns and try to avoid the gray areas they engender.Where is the line between ethical, persuasive design and dark patterns? Businesses should engage in conversations with IT, compliance, risk, and legal teams to review their privacy policy, and include in the discussion the customer/user experience designers and coders responsible for the company’s user interface, as well as the marketers and advertisers responsible for sign-ups, checkout baskets, pricing, and promotions. Any or all these teamscan play a role in creating or avoiding "digital deception”Lawmakers and regulators are slowly starting to address the ambiguity around dark patterns, most recently at the state level. In March, the California Attorney General announced the approval of additional regulations under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) that "ensure that consumers will not be confused or misled when seeking to exercise their data privacy rights." The regulations aim to ban dark patterns — this means prohibiting companies from using “confusing language or unnecessary steps such as forcing them to click through multiple screens or listen to reasons why they shouldn't opt out.”As more states consider promulgating additional regulations, there is a need for greater accountability from within the business community. Dark patterns also can be addressed on a self-regulatory basis, but only if organizations hold themselves accountable, not just to legal requirements, but also to industry best practices and standards.31. It can be learned from the first two paragraphs that dark patterns_____A. improve user experiencesB. leak user information for profitC. undermine users’ decision-makingD. remind users of hidden costs32. The 2019 study on dark patterns is mentioned to show_____A. their major flawsB. their complex designsC. their severe damageD. their strong presence33. To handle digital deception, businesses should_____A. listen to customer feedbackB. talk with relevant teamsC. turn to independent agenciesD. rely on professional training34. The additional regulations under the CCPA are intended to_____A. guide users through opt-out processesB. protect consumers from being trickedC. grant companies data privacy rightsD. restrict access to problematic content35. According to the last paragraph, a key to coping with dark patterns is_____A. new legal requirementsB. businesses’ self-disciplineC. strict regulatory standardsD. consumers’ safety awarenessText 4Although ethics classes are common around the world, scientists are unsure if their lessons can actually change behavior, evidence either way is weak, relying on contrived laboratory tests or sometimes unreliable self-reports. But a new study published in Cognition found that, in at least one real-world situation, a single ethics lesson may have had lasting effects. The researchers investigated one class session's impact on eating meat. They chose this particular behavior for three reasons, according to study co-author Eric Schwitzgebel, a philosopher at the University of California Riverside: students’ attitudes on the topic are variable and unstable, behavior is easily measurable, and ethics literature largely agrees that eating less meat is good because it reduces environmental harm and animal suffering Half of the students in four large philosophy classes read an article on the ethics of factory-farmed meat, optionally watched an 11-minute video on the topic and joined a 50-minute discussion. The other half focused on charitable giving instead. Then, unknown to the students, the researchers studied their anonymized meal-card purchases for that semester—nearly 14,000 receipts for almost 500 students.Schwitzgebel predicted the intervention would have no effect; he had previously found that ethics professors do not differ from other professors on a range of behaviors, including voting rates, blood donation and returning library books. But among student subjects who discussed meat ethics, meal purchases containing meat decreased from 52 to45 percent- and this effect held steady for the study's duration of several weeks. Purchases from the other group remained at 52 percent.“That's actually a pretty large effect for a pretty small intervention," Schwitzgebel says. Psychologist Nina Strohminger at the University of Pennsylvania, who was not involved in the study. Says she wants the effect to be real but cannot rule out some unknown confounding variable. And if real. she notes, it might be reversible by another nudge: “Easy come, easy go.”Schwitzgebel suspects the greatest impact came from social influence — classmates or teaching assistants leading the discussions may have shared their own vegetarianism, showing it as achievable or more common. Second, the video may have had an emotional impact. Least rousing, he thinks, was rational argument, although his co-authors say reason might play a bigger role. Now the researchers are probing the specific effects of teaching style, teaching assistants’ eating habits and students' video exposure. Meanwhile Schwitzgebel—who had predicted no effect—will be eating his words.36. Scientists generally believe that the effects of ethics classes are_____A. hard to determineB. narrowly interpretedC. difficult to ignoreD. poorly summarized37. Which of the following is a reason for the researchers to study meat-eating?A. It is common among studentsB. It is a behavior easy to measure.C. It is important to students’ healthD. It is a hot topic in ethics classes.38. Eric Schwitzgebel's previous findings suggest that ethics professors_____A. are seldom critical of their studentsB. are less sociable than other professorsC. are not sensitive to political issuesD. are not necessarily ethically better39. Nina Strohminger thinks that the effect of the intervention is_____A. permanentB. predictableC. uncertainD. unrepeatable40. Eric Schwitzgebel suspects that the students’ change in behavior_____A. can bring psychological benefitsB. can be analyzed statisticallyC. is a result of multiple factorsD. is a sign of self-developmentPart BDirections:Read the following text and answer the questions by choosing the most suitable subheading from the list A-G for each of the numbered paragraphs (41-45). Round out your routineHow to Get Active AgainGetting back into exercise after a break can be a challenge in the best of times, but with gyms and in-person exercise classes off-limits to many people these days, it can be tricky to know where to start. And it is important to get the right dose of activity. "Too much too soon either results in injury or burnout," says Mary Yoke, PhD. a faculty member in the kinesiology department at Indiana University in Bloomington. The following simple strategies will help you return to exercise safelyafter a break.41.___________ C_____________Don't try to go back to what you were doing before your break. If you were walking 3 miles a day, playing 18 holes of golf three times a week, or lifting10-pound dumbbells for three sets of 10 reps, reduce activity to half a mile every other day, or nine holes of golf once a week with short walks on other days, or use 5-pound dumbbells for one set of 10 reps.Increase time, distance and intensity gradually. "This isn't something you can do overnight," says Keri L. Denay. MD, lead author of a recent American College of Sports Medicine advisory that encourages Americans to not overlook the benefits of activity during the pandemic. But you'll reap benefits such as less anxiety and improved sleep right away42.___________ E_____________If you're breathing too hard to talk in complete sentences, back off. If you feel good, go a little longer or faster. Feeling wiped out after a session? Go easier next time. And stay alert to serious symptoms, such as chest pain or pressure, severe shortness of breath or dizziness, or faintness, and seek medical attention immediately.43.____________ A____________Consistency is the key to getting stronger and building endurance and stamina Ten minutes of activity per day is a good start, says Marcus Jackoyitz. DPT. a physical therapist at the University of Miami Hospital. All the experts we spoke with highly recommend walking because it's the easiest, most accessible form of exercise Although it can be a workout on its own, if your goal is to get back to Zumba classes, tennis, cycling, or any other activity, walking is also a great first step.44.____________ F_____________Even if you can't yet do a favorite activity, you can practice the moves. With or without a club or racket, swing like you're hitting the ball. Paddle like you're in a kayak or canoe. Mimic your favorite swimming strokes. The action will remind you of the joy the activity brought you and prime your muscles for when you can get out there again.45._____________ B____________Exercising with others "can keep you accountable and make it more fun, so you're more likely to do i again." Jackovitz says. You can do activities such as golf and tennis or take a walk with others and still be socially distant. But when you can't connect in person, consider using technology. Chat on the phone with a friend while you walk around your neighborhood. Face Time with a relative as you strength train or stretch at home. You can also join a live stream or on-demand exercise class.Section III Translation46. Directions:Translate the following text into Chinese. Write your translation on ANSWER SHEET. 考研英语2022作文模板Title: The Impact of Online Education on Traditional Education。

With the rapid development of technology, online education has become increasingly popular in recent years. Many people believe that online education will eventually replace traditional education. However, I hold the opinion that traditional education still plays a crucial role inthe development of individuals.First and foremost, traditional education provides students with a structured learning environment. In a physical classroom, students are able to interact withtheir peers and teachers, which fosters a sense of community and collaboration. This kind of socialinteraction cannot be fully replicated in an online setting. Moreover, traditional education offers students the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities, such as experiments in science classes or group discussions inliterature courses. These experiences are essential for students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Furthermore, traditional education allows for personalized attention from teachers. In a physical classroom, teachers can observe students' behavior and provide immediate feedback. This personalized approach to teaching is crucial for students who may struggle with certain subjects or concepts. In contrast, online education often lacks this level of individualized attention, as students may feel isolated and disconnected from their instructors.Additionally, traditional education instills a sense of discipline and time management in students. By attending classes at specific times and adhering to a set schedule, students learn the importance of punctuality and responsibility. In contrast, online education may lead to procrastination and a lack of motivation, as students are not required to adhere to a strict timetable. However, it is undeniable that online education offers certain advantages over traditional education. For instance, online education provides flexibility and convenience for individuals who may have other commitments, such as work or family responsibilities. Additionally, online education allows for a wider range of course options, as students can access materials and resources from around the world. This can be particularly beneficial for students in remote areas who may not have access to certain educational opportunities. In conclusion, while online education has its merits, traditional education continues to play a vital role in the development of individuals. The structured learning environment, personalized attention, and emphasis on discipline and time management make traditional educationan indispensable part of the educational system. It is important to recognize the strengths of both online and traditional education and find ways to integrate them effectively for the benefit of students.。

Directions:1)describe the diagram and2)analyze the possible causes. You should write at least 150 words.

Given is a table/chart,which clearly demonstrates the striking contrasts in circulation percentages of four categories of books in a certain library.Overall, popular fiction shows the highest percentage, which reaches 65.9%.Then,the next is general nonfiction, with 18.2%, followed by books of science and technology,at 10.8%.Finally come books of art, literature and poetry, with merely 5.1%.Tips:which clearly demonstrates

To my best understanding, there are several reasons accounting for these differences. To begin with, popular fictions are usually characterized by their colorful plots, romantic love or humorous language style, which attract a host of youngsters and enable readers to alleviate mental pressure. In addition, compared with popular fictions, professional books are more difficult to understand and only a smal percentage of individuals majoring in these fields need to borrow related books from the library.Books of science and technology, art, literature and poetry are included in this category.Tips:there are several reasons accounting for these differences可替换成at least two reasons can explain these differences作为一名大学生,我认为,年轻人不仅有必要阅读通俗类小说,也应该阅读其他书籍。

As a college student,I am convinced that it is of great necessity for young people to read not only popular fictions, but also other books. No mater what you read, books always bring us knowledge, arouse our enthusiasm for learning and help us broaden/expand our horizons.Tips:As a college student,I am convinced that可替换成I ,as a youngster, deem that ... Directions:In this section, you are asked to write an esay based on the following diagram.Describe the diagram and analyze the possible causes. You should write at least 150 words.
