I just fired my boss.

Because he cannot stand any kind of objection .

I learned a lot during the miserable time I spent working for him.

And I think I should share my experience with you.

It is normal to have a different opinion from the boss, but the ways some bosses react to objection will probably make you speechless.

For example, they may tell you to shut up or treat you differently ever since.

This problem is most likely due to the low emotional intelligence of the boss.

If you have this kind of boss, then you can try to do this:

Write your opinions in a well-organized email and send it to him.

Not only do you need to explain in the email why you think you are right, you also have to explain what benefits your proposal has for the boss. If your boss’s IQ is qualified, then he will at least have further communication with you after carefully reading the email.

But if his practice is the same as before, then it means that the company really has problems, and it is not appropriate for you to stay in this company for too long.

1:

United Kingdom - Pride and Prejudice

Pride and Prejudice is kind of a literary Rosetta Stone, the inspiration, basis, and model for so many modern novels. You’re probably more familiar with its plot and characters than you think. For a book written in the early 19th century, it’s modernity is surprising only until you realize that this is the novel that in many ways defined what a modern novel is. 2:

Ireland - Ulysses

Ulysses did “stream of consciousness” before the term existed, and it’s also a sprawling novel dense with allusions, wordplay, obscure jokes, and intensely, opaquely personal ruminations by the characters.

Wherever you are, you cannot avoid gossip .

There is classroom politics at school, and office politics at work; as long as there are people, there will be politics.

In fact, not all gossips are harmful. Sometimes proper gossip symbolizes a healthy working environment.

We were born to like gossip, because this is an important channel for us to get information; in the meanwhile, chatting with acquaintances gives us a sense of belonging.

However, it is an undeniable fact that real life gossip often develops into a ridiculous war and is ultimately no good for anyone.

How do we survive this unfortunate environment?

Well, the simplest solution is this:

Rumors stop here.

The nature of gossip lies in spreading, thus the best way to end gossip is to stop spreading the rumors.

Remember, although people often enjoy talking to those who love gossip, they do not really like this kind of people.

After all, anyone can understand that they can talk to you about other people today, they may talk about you behind your back tomorrow.
