Make a call 教学设计

一、Teacher content
这是攀登英语阅读系列.神奇的字母组合其中一个字母组合“all”发音的学习。通过让学生阅读故事“Make a call”, 学习并掌握字母组合all在单词中的发音。
二、Teaching objective
教学目标包括知识目标,能力目标和情感态度目标。
1.语言知识目标:
知道字母组合all在单词中的发音。
2.语言能力目标:
(1)学生能拼读含有all的单词。
(2)能在图片和老师的帮助下运用所学语音规律阅读新的篇章。
3.情感态度目标
(1)学生在拼读单词的过程中获得成就感,能体会到英语学习的兴趣。
(2)在小组活动中能与其他同学积极配合和合作。
三、Main point
通过故事阅读,培养学生的语音意识,并利用各种意识达到见词能读,听音能写的目的。
四、Difficult point
掌握all在单词中的发音,并利用各种意识达到见词能读,听音能写的目的。
五、Analysis of students
本故事教学适合五年级或六年级的同学。学生在三、四年级已经学习了26个字母组合的发音,并具备了初步的语音意识,能分辨出某个音的大概位置及能进行单词的拼读,因此本节课可以通过story,listen and chant,listen and write等形式来激发学生的学习兴趣。
六、Teaching methods
本节课我会运用体验----观察---操练----巩固的学习策略,让学生运用小组合作学习策略,发现语音的规律。
七、Teaching procedure
Step1: Let’s chant about ai and ay.
T: What sound can you hear ? S: /ei/
What letters pronounce it ? S: ai ay
让学升通过chant复习已学的语音知识,并通过问题:What sound can you hear? What letters pronounce it ? 让学生在letter name 和letter sound 之间建立联系。
Sept2: Presentation
1.Present the story
(1). Guess,predict and the first reading
T: Hello ,boys and girls . Look at my bag . What’s in my bag ?(让学生猜)
S: TThey are phones .
T:Yes! You can also say: They are calls . Today I will tell you a story . Look!The title of the story is Make a call . Whose calls are they ? Can you guess? Are they my calls ? Are they your calls ? Please read the book in group and try to find out whose calls are they ?Yes!
They are Mr Tall’s call and Mr. Small’s call .
通过让学生猜,引出故事题目:Make a call . 然后让学生预测,带着问题以小组为单位看一遍,整体感知故事。
(2)Watch and listen
T: Do you want to listen to the story ?Let’s enjoy the story together .(播放故事一遍)老师拿出图片
T:Look!What’s this ? S: It’s a call . (把call 贴在黑板上)
T: Whose call is it ? S: It’s Mr .Small’s ( 贴Mr. Small)
T:What is Mr .Small like ? S: He is small .( 贴small)
T:Whose call is it ? S: It’s Mr .Tall’s .(贴Mr.Tall )
T:What is Mr .Tall like ? S: He is tall .( 贴tall)
T: What does Mr Small talk to Mr. Tall ? S: Hello,Mr .Tall . Let’s paint walls!(贴wall)
T: Can Mr.Tall hear ? S: No, he isn’t .
T: How do you know that ? S:What ? Play ball ? (贴ball )
T:Mr.Tall can’t hear Mr. Small .So Mr .Small speak loudly :Not ball! Wall !Can Mr. Tall hear now ? S: No.
T: How do you know that ? S:OK, let’s play ball .
T: Oh, Mr. Tall still can’t hear Mr. Small . Mr .Small thinks: How can we talk ? He sees a duck with a call . What does he do Mr.Small do then ? S:He gives Mr .Tall a call .
T:Can Mr. Tall hear Mr.Small now ? S: Yes!
T: What can they do now ? S: They can paint walls and play balls .
(通过问答,提炼整个故事的关键词,为接下来的观察体验做好准备。)

T: What letters pronounce / / ? S: all
通过让学生观察和体验,当学生发现all发/ / .突出老师的主导作用及学生的主体地位。
Step 4: Practice and consolidation
(1)T: Now let’s chant together

Thay want to paint walls and play ball .
So they make a call .
