1.Possible version:
Dear Jack,
I hear that you will go back home for the winter holiday and intend to bring some Chinese gifts for your mother. Now I am writing to offer you my advice.
Personally, the following two presents are strongly recommended. First, the cheongsam, which is a female dress, can show the real beauty of a lady. There is no doubt that it will be loved by your mother. Second, the Chinese knot, which stands for unity and good luck, is also a good choice. I am convinced that it will bring luck and happiness to your family.
Wish you a good vacation and give my best wishes to your mother.
Yours,
Li Hua

It is important for us to pay back the kindness we received. My family received the care, warmth and help of a community. That feeling was priceless. We will be grateful forever.

Community members including friends, neighbors and even strangers, lent us a helping hand. Some sent clothes and money, some provided shelter for us; some helped to find treasures in the ruins, which moved us deeply. On the other hand, the fire made me realize the most important thing-my family My dad’s watch is on my bedside table now, which is a reminder that anyone or anything can be lost without warning. I know that I should learn to treasure people around me no matter who they are. I also should treasure my
