I obtained quite a different experience during my work in a country cafe. There I improved my ability to work in a team as well as to work hard and efficiently.I take part in various competitions and I usually win there. My most valuable achievement is the third place in Lithuania for a work of ceramics. I also received my money prize for that, whichwas established by the mayor of our town. Other competition was the one where I as a winner was chosen to attend Arts camp. Our painting skills were improved there by the teachers of Vilnius Academy of Arts. The rivalry underwent at this camp forced me to try even harder and to develop my individuality. Theatre is one more field of art that I am keen on. This helps me to foster my communication skills, wittiness and courage. I can also reveal myself like a costume and set designer.One of the most important events in my life that has changed my point of view to many things is the foundation of a non-governmental organization "Kedainiai club". When I organized a hitchhiking competition I familiarized with the peculiarities of this way of travelling as well as with the geography of Lithuania. For this competition I had to show all my shrewdness and plan everything with great precision. When I gave painting lessons to the youth, I understood the particularity of the work with people, i.e. what it is like to be a teacher.My biggest achievement is that I learnt to be patient and more tolerant. As I am involved in the activities of youth policy, I came across with lots of political issues. I obtained a lot of experience in the preparation of local and international projects, writing of various regulations, taking the minutes. Accordingly, I could be more involved into the matters of youth policy. At the present moment I am a member of school democratic association, a member of a regional Students' Board and a member of a discussion club "Civitas". For this activity in 2009 I was awarded as the most public-spirited student in the town. I am also keen on travelling. In addition, generations of poor families live along the water edge are facing the danger of displacement in Chinese cities. Planning of heritage corridors and cultural routes along rivers will provide equal recreational and educational opportunities for citizens, which can guarantee social justice and harmonious blend of social groups.3. The redevelopment of brown fields in waterfronts.In Chinese cities, most industrial parcels are located along the waterfront area because conventional industry had strong dependence on water transportation and water resources. Most abandoned industrial lands possess rich cultural information about history of industrialization during the 19th century. In addition, they also have big potential for public recreational activities, historical tourism and ecological education. Most importantly, China should learn from the lessons of developed countries to create a specific mechanism to avoid the generation of brown fields in Chinese cities.In addition, t he continuity of a city’s memory and the revitalization of ordinary landscape and living environment are my academic interests. I am firmly committed to designing for all citizens. This desire pushes me to improve my reading on traditional lifestyles of common people and evolution of human’s settlements in China. Furthermore, I try to find out the mechanism of the influence of globalization on the traditional Chinese landscape. I believe one of most important missions of landscape architect is to recover our cultural identity. Only if this way can we make people’s existence meaningful and rebuild the spiritual connection to our land and to the world beyond the earthly one.Given my professional and research experience I am now eager to start my research with a combination of landscape architecture and urban design. Prof. James Westcoat’s established research on the waterfronts and cultural landscape are inspiring to my own research. And as an expert of urban landscape in developing countries, he could surely provide the guidance I need. The courses offered by other professors provide the exact academic environment that supports my interdisciplinary inquiry into landscape architecture and urban design and helps me to push my intellectual limits as a student of Chinese landscape architect. Letter of IntentWhen a sprinkling snow aircraft crashed into a skyscraper due to air-impingement on Christmas Eve. The explosion rents the serenity, the fire spread rapidly, explosion after another.In the result,the panicked people living in 108 layers skyscraper have nowhere to escape, even firefighters coming at full speed also appear to be inadequate and that kind of situation become a problem can not solve. The scene is the most memorable clips of the Korean movie "Skyscraper" left me.The skyscrapers are high-rise buildings with twin tower, there is a full glass of air corridor between two skyscrapers, thus when a building is on fire, people in a higher level can run through the corridor to another building.In the movie, there is a group of people rescued from another exit by forcing down the elevator to the underground. The elevator descents through a channel, and it is the elevator landing hinder device every ten layers that makes most people survived. However, for the building's fire protection system and smoke exhaust system don’t not maintain very well, when the fire break out, the facade of the building fails to finish the fire extinguishing work timely, in consequence of which, many people are killed in there.Thanks for the movie,I realized that the security systems design of the building is quite crucial.A perfect building not only needs aesthetically pleasing, the plane using part is but also quite important.In particular,due to escaping is not easy in high-rise buildings, the design should be more prudent. A qualified architect should be attached importance to all aspects of design. Upon completion, the daily inspection equipment can not be ignored.With rapid evolution era as well as human needs, there have been emerging lots of ecological building, green building, high-tech architecture. Under the premise of these buildings, equipped with advanced technology, these buildings will be the Gospel of human being. My ultimate goal is to help build out my home country more healthier, more economical and more freedom buildings through getting a master degree of Science in Building Technology in America.I was enrolled in College of Architecture Engineering, XX University,majoring in Architecture in Sept. 2010, and according the academic record up to now, I’m certain to obtain my Bachelor degree in Engineering next July.As the only key comprehensive university co-established by the Province and the Ministry in Hebei Province, Hebei University attaches primary importance to the education of its students and academic researches.During undergraduate studies, I have established a good knowledge foundation from my knowledgeable professors.Outside of the class, I have participated in various kinds of extracurricular activities. I have acted as Captain of the volleyball team of College of Architecture Engineering,Hebei University for almost four years, and led my team won the third place twice in the volleyball match of Hebei University.Striving to self-improve in financial knowledge and interpersonal communication skills, I started my first internship in Beijing Branch office of 5+1 Werkhart International, which is an multinational Group of Architectural Design Service and have completed more than 100 major projects of urban planning, architectural design, landscape design and other aspects of design, leading the market direction in the design concept and technical means during summer vocation of 2013 academic year. Different from university life, working in the office needs me to be more systematic, precise and logic. Fortunately, my versatility in coming up with solutions for proposals of any sort, and my articulate manner of communicating these solutions suggested that I can be well suited to the job of an architect.I worked as the assistant of Construction Drawings Designer, I was mainly responsible for drawing construction plan, making models of public toilets and detecting the technical and economic indicators. When the construction project came to the final stage, my job also contained checking the details of construction plan to make sure there was no conflict of place and structure.From this internship, I had a basic familiarity with office work and improved my interpersonal communication skills.During working, I have contacted with practice experience of AotoCAD, Photoshop, Office and building professional software.What’s more, I learned the procedure of some real cases of large engineering project design.
