Keep good footing and balance at all times.8.Follow the maintenance instructions specified in the manual.9.“WARNING - Risk of Injection or Injury - Do Not Direct Discharge Stream At Persons.”SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONSGROUNDING INSTRUCTIONSThis product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resis-tance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.DANGER - Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electrocution. Check with a qualified electrician or service personnel if you are in doubts to whether the outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the product - if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. Do not use any type of adapter with this product. The pressure was set at the factory during the testing procedure, no adjustments to the machine should be required for operation. During operation do not leave the machine running for more than 2 minutes without the trigger gun being pulled. Although your machine has a by-pass valve on it and may have a thermal relief system, this can cause extensive pump damage. If machine will not be discharging water for more than 2 minutes, shut the machine off.Your machine is supplied with interchangeable spray tips. The black tip lowers your pressure and draws chemical. The other tips are for high pressure rinse at different spray angles. Red is 0 degree, yellow is 15 degree, green is 25 degree and white is 40 degree. The yellow tip is used for most stan-dard applications. Be sure the quick coupler is fully engaged before pulling the trigger gun. Failure to do may result in the tip becoming a projectile and may be lost or damage to property or persons may occur.Your pressure washer is supplied with a downstream chemical injector with dual chemical selector. The 1/4” clear vinyl tube is to be inserted into the desired chemical to apply. Be sure to use the black, low pressure nozzle to inject chemical. The chemical injector will only open up and allow chemical into the line when this tip is used. This tip enables the pressure to drop to approximately 250 PSI to draw chemical. The injector can be turned on and off or the rate of injection can also be set by turn-ing the knob that the clear vinyl tube attaches to. See calibration below.Be sure to flush injection system with clear water after use.The chart below is an average ratio observed using water as the test fluid to draw through the injector and serves only as a guide, your actual ratio will vary. Setting on valve Injection Ratio 96:188:1710:1613:1520:1428:1335:1250:1For better accuracy, calibrate using the following formula:(GPM x 128) ¸ (ounces drawn in 1 minute) = x:1.IE: If a 2.0 GPM machine draws 8 ounces of chemical in 1 minute: (2 x 128) 8 = 32:1Factory supplied hoses are sized in length and diameter for best operational performance and sized within the pressure capabilities. Additional hose added to the machine may change the performanceof the machine. Consult factory if you have any questions. When replacing or disconnecting thequick couplers be sure the machine is shut off and relieve the pressure from all hoses.DuringOperationNozzlesChemicalinjector useHoses andcouplers CalibrationLow NozzlePressure SoapInjectorNotWorkingProperly Surging Operation NoticeLow nozzle pressure is a common complaint. In a majority of instances, low nozzle pressure is gener-ally caused by one of the following:1. Plugged nozzle tip.2. Inlet screen plugged.3. Insufficient flow in gallons per minute (not pressure) to the pump.4. Unloader valve stuck open due to debris lodged under the check valve ball.5. Customer use of shut-off-type quick connectors.6. Plugged hose.7. Incorrect nozzle or soap tip installed.Another complaint is that pressure surges. That is, when the trigger is pulled, pressure is satisfactory for a moment then falls off. When the trigger is released, pressure builds up to normal levels. This isgenerally a sign that the water supply cannot provide the flow rate (gallons per minute) required by the pump. Following are some possible solutions:1. Make sure the supply is not restricted; that there are no under-sized fittings and the inlet screen is unobstructed.2. Make sure the flow rate of the water supply is sufficient for the pump. First, find the capacity of your pump in gallons per minute (gpm) as shown in the Water Supply section on Page 5. Then determine the flow rate of your supply by measuring the gallons that can be delivered in one minute. If your supply does not deliver the gpm your pump requires, do not use the pump. It will suck air, causing cavitation that can quickly damage pump components.3. Check for leaks in the supply fittings. Any leak will cause the pump to draw air and perform poorly. When a soap injector is not working properly, the problem is generally fairly easy to isolate. Check the following:1. Make sure the Black, soap tip is installed. Soap injectors will not work when high pressure nozzles are installed.2. Be sure that the soap injector valve is turned on, and turn selector valve to desired setting.3. A piece of debris may be caught in the injector valve, injector ball valve, or orifice. Disassemble and clean the injector.User maintenance procedures include replacing valves and seal. Unloader components are not user serviceable. Repairs involving unloaders and crankcase components should be referred to the factory or a factory authorized repair center.Mounting plateReplacement Quick Tips For All UnitsForward grip/soap control valve.Activates chemical injector by lowering pressure and allowing water to gothrough soap tip. A thin film polymer capacitor senses relative humidity, while temperature is monitored by a 1000 Ohm platinum RTD. The sensors are protected by a stainless steel filter cap easily removed for cleaning. The probe is connected to an electronicsenclosure with a 40 inch (1m) Teflon cable. The enclosure contains the calibration trimmers, signal and power connections via twoterminal blocks. The probe is available in two configurations, as a2.5” (64 mm) probe with a wall mounting clip, and as an 8.5” (216mm) probe with an adjustable duct flange.B. THEORY OF OPERATIONA 4 to 20 milliamp loop is a series current loop in which atransmitter will vary the current flow depending upon the parameter being measured (Relative Humidity or Temperature). Advantages ofa current output over a voltage output is that is less susceptible tonoise interference and allows the connection of more than one meter or recorder to the loop as long as the maximum resistance is notexceeded. The typical current loop will consist of a power supply, transmitter, and a meter to measure the current flow. The loop resistance is the sum of the impedance of the meter(s) and the lead wire. Themaximum allowable loop impedance of the probe is found by the Formula:Rmax = (power supply voltage-7 volts) /.02 ampsExample: when using a 24 VDC power supply:Rmax= (24-7) /.02=850 ohms (for total wire length to andfrom the transmitter).AWG WIRE SIZE RESISTANCE PER 1000 FEETIf the meter or recorder being used accepts only voltage, convert the current to voltage by installing a 250 ohm resistor across the input terminals of the recorder to obtain a 1 to 5 volts input.D. TERMINAL CONNECTIONS AND TRIM POTSE. WIRING EXAMPLESTYPICAL CURRENT HOOKUP Wires R1 and R2 can be combined into one single wire with a jumper at pins (4) and (2). This will result in 3 wires instead of 4. TRIMPOTS TYPE A. RH GAIN B. RH ZERO C. RH OFFSET D. TEMP GAIN E. TEMP ZEROPROBE INSTALLATIONF. MOUNTINGA.DUCT MOUNTINGSTEPS1.Slide flange holder onto probe with countersinkhole facing front of probe as shown.2.Position o-ring on probe at desired position (for depth intoduct).3.Slide duct flange onto probe as shown.4.Fasten with (3) 6/32 screws and tighten evenly until secure.5.Position gasket between duct flange and duct wall and fastenassembly to duct with (4) #6 sheet metal screws (notincluded).6.Loosening the 6/32 screws allows for repositioning orremoval of the probe without having to remove the ductflange from the wall. The d uct wall requires a 11/16” (.684” or 17.5 mm) hole forprobe, with (4) mounting holes (for #6 sheet metal screws)evenly spaced on a 2.0” (51 mm) circle. Use duct flange astemplate.B.WALL MOUNTING1.Fasten metal clip to wall.2.Snap probe into clip.G. RH AND TEMPERATURE CALCULATIONS1.Maximum current loop impedance for RH or temperature.Rmax = (V supply – 7 volts) /.02 amps2.RH current output (i = current output in milliamperes)3.Temperature current output.oC = (i-4) x 220/16) – 40 iC = (oC + 40) x (16/220) + 4oF = (i-4) x (396/16) – 40 iF = (oF + 40) x (16/396) + 4The upper limit of the humidity measurement range decreases based on temperature. The humidity measurement limit decreases as follows:2.20% per °C from 95 to 120°C (1.11% per °F from 203 to 248°F)1.00% per °C from 120 to 140°C (0.56% per °F from 248 to 284°F) 0.50% per °C from 140 to 160°C (0.28% per °F from 284 to 320°F) 0.25% per °C from 160 to 180°C (0.14% per °F from 320 to 356°F)For example, at 120°C the upper humidity limit decreases to about 45% ((120-95)(2.20%) = 55% decrease which is 45%), at 180°C it is reduced to about 10%.To calculate the RH accuracy, we’ll use the accuracy specs given in the specifications section:+/-2%RH at 25°C and -40° to 150°C at 0.05 % RH/°C.To clarify lets take an example,RH accuracy at 120°C,=+/- (2% + (120-25)0.05%) = +/- (2% + 4.75%)=+/-6.75%So the accuracy at 120°C is +/- 6.75% and the upper humidity measurement limit is 45% RH.H. RH CALIBRATIONRefer to Section D for the location of trim pots A and B.Note: The HX92-CAL Relative Humidity Calibration Kit is for providing the “low” and “high” RH environments for this procedure. The salt solutions in this kit are prepared according to ASTM standard E104-85 to provide 11.3% and 75.3% relative humidity environments. The containers provided in the kit are designed to fit with these instruments.1.Turn the span (trim pot A) all the way up (clockwise).2.Turn the zero (trim pot B) all the way down (counter-clockwise).3.Place the sensor in the low (11.3%) RH environment. Allowat least one hour for stabilization or until the output stopschanging.4.Verify the output is 4 +/-.02 mA. If it is not, return the unitto Omega for evaluation and repair.5.Adjust the zero (trim pot B) to the point where it just starts tocause a change in the output.6.Place the sensor in the high (75.3%) RH environment. Allowat least one hour for stabilization or until the output stopschanging.7.Adjust the span (trim pot A) so the output is equivalent tothe difference between low and high RH environments.Example: 75.3%-11.3% = 64% which is equivalent to 14.24mA.8.Adjust the sensor in the low RH environment and allow atleast one hour for stabilization or until the output stopschanging. Verify the output is equivalent to the low RHenvironment. Example: 11.3% is equivalent to 5.81 mA.I. TEMPERATURE CALIBRATIONTemperature is factory calibrated only, and does not requireany further calibrations.J. MAINTENANCEIf the probe is operated in a dusty environment, theprotective sensor filter, if clogged, may be removed for cleaning.Unscrew filter and gently blow compressed air through screen. If necessary, use a soft brush to remove lint from sensors. If the sensors are subjected to 100% condensation, they must bedried to obtain correct readings. There is no permanentcalibration shift, nor is recalibration necessary if 100%condensation occurs. The instrument should not be exposed to highConcentrations of ammonia or alcohol vapors. However, any environment that is breathable under normal HVACapplications should not affect the sensors. To maintain originalspecifications, it is generally recommended that the RH sensorbe recalibrated on an annual basis depending upon operatingconditions. The temperature sensor does not require calibration.K. We are not respon-sible for any malfunctions or troubles caused by using power units other than specified.4. How to Operate1. Select bit. Push down the joint shaft collar at the topof the screwdriver and insert the bit.2. See the torque chart and match it with you torque ap-plication.3. Select correct spring by color for corresponding torqueaccording to the torque chart.Example:For getting automatic shutting at 8 kgf.cm with CL-6500 you could use either spring Y or W. With Yspring the torque adjusting nut should be set at #3position on the driver scale; with W spring at #5. Fortorque over 11 kgf.cm, however, only Y spring is ap-plicable as can be seen on the chart.4. Plug in the power supplies and check red power indi-cator. If it is not on, check fuse on power pack or ACsupply.5. Connect the cord of driver to power supplies. Makesure groove on plug lines up with projection on socket.Tighten knurled ring.6. Set torque adjusting nut at proper position on driverscale conferring with torque chart.7. For testing purpose, drive one screw until driver stopsautomatically.8. Check the fastened degree of the screw with a torquewrench. (For this checking, HIOS torque meter HDPor HDM Series recommended.) If found too high ortoo low, adjust the position of nut for further testing. 9. Once you get best result keep Nut there intact andyou will enjoy accurate repeatability of fastening atsame torque.10. The torque adjusting nut of CL-6000, CL-6500, CL-7000 may be locked after the position is determined.Holding Torque Adjusting Nut, rotate only the metalband around it until a tapped hole is uncovered. In-stall a M3 x 3 set screw there and tighten it. Returnband to original position.●The torque adjusting nuts of the CL-2000, CL-3000,CL-4000 can be locked by aligning the red mark onthe outer casing with any one of two vertical grooves(or three grooves for the standard-type screwdriver) of the bolt located nearest the torque adjusting scale. To change the position, lift and turn the nut outer casing.●The CL-2000 (SS-2000) Electric Screwdriver have‘Double nut system’ (Nut fixing ring and Torque adjust-ing nut) to avoid loosening from shock or vibration to the driver. To adjust those two nuts, follows ①to ③steps below. At first, stop the Nut fixing ring uppersurface to fit the graduation, if youwant to adjust. Then turn the Torque adjusting nut soas to push up the Nut fixing ring.Lastly, to avoid the loosening of the‘Torque adjusting nut’ strongly fas-ten the Nut fixing ring’ by holding the‘Torque adjusting nut’.5. Push-to-Start TypeBoth the models of Driver have Push-to-Start type that is designed to start by causing a proper thrusting pressure on the bit in place of pressing the Switch Lever by the fore-finger. Drivers of this type are identified by the additional sign PS following the principal Push-to-Start type models. The PS type, therefore, has no lever for starting. All other functions remain same as the principal type.Users of this type is specifically cautioned to disconnect the cord to shut off power when handling the Quick Change Collet for replacing bit to avoid danger from surprising starting.6. Power SuppliesThe power pack for CL Drivers requires two basic func-tions: (1) to convert local AC power to lowered DC Power and (2) to shut off the power by automatical reaction to the pulse emitted from the Driver at the moment the torque at work reaches the regulated limit. How to connect a control Box● There are two pairs of output terminals, two (+) andtwo (-), on the back of the body case. They are pro-vided to divide main wires to two directions from the main unit. When distributing the power pack in one direction only, keep one pair of the terminals idle. ● When connecting main wires to the terminals, besure to connect the red wire to (+) and the black wire to (-). 1. Connect the branch wire to the main wire at regularintervals. Use a U-Element for connection. You can connect wires without stripping off the wire coating. 2. Insert the main wire ① into the groove by wideningthe lower split (opening) of the U-Element. 3. Fully insert the branch wire ② into the upper hole untilit stops. 4. Insert a U-shaped element ③ (the comb-shapedmetal part) with a pair of pliers to make it flush with the plastic body. Only the coating is broken; both wires still connected. 5. Put an insulation cover ④ on the element and snap itshut. 6. The connected branch wires have plug receptaclesat their other ends. Connect the control box plugs tothese plug receptacles.Branch wireTrunk-line wireDo not strip coatings.③8. How to replace carbon brushes1. It is recommended to replace the pair of carbonbrushes to maintain performance when worn out to about half the length. 2. Carbon brush caps have a slot.Unscrew them with a flat tip driver to open them. Be careful not to allow the carbon brush inside to jump out as it is kept there under spring pressure. 3. With the mini-type screwdriver, one of the carbon brush covers is located under the switch lever, therefore, the switch lever must be removed before reaching it. Turn the hexagonal head of the axis supporting the switch lever, then they can be removed.4. Replace the worn carbon brushes with new pair. Notethat the end surface of the carbon piece is not exactly flat but of slightly concave face, so see to that the carbon piece is placed in the correct direction when inserted into the holder to have its curved face make smooth meeting with the rotation of the deep innercommutator. Screw the cap tightly.CONCAVE100.90.80.70.60.50.40.30.20.1123456CL-4000R0.050.10.150.20.250.3123456N.m N.mCL-3000BLG0.050.030.020.10.150.20.2512345678N.m CL-2000BY0.050.030.020.10.150.20.2512345678N.mSS-2000BY10.511.522.523456CL-6000N.mN.mN.mBr10.511.522.523456CL-7000PY10.51 1.52 2.523456CL-6500YW0.50.41234560.60.70.80.911.11.21.3α-5000(Gr)α-4500(W)N.m Gr WN.m10.511.522.523456α-6500Y0.10.050.030.30.20.50.450.4123456SS-4000N.mN.mR0.10.050.030.30.20.50.4123456SS-3000N.mG0.511.52123456SS-6500 (Dashed line)SS-7000 (Solid line)Y PBLBLBLColor of Spring B: Black BL: Blue G: Gold R: Red Br: Brown Y: Yellow W: White P: Purple Gr: Green■ Proper guidance on output torque (at HI input) CL-series (NL-Series, ESD, Q-CR-ESD, Q, PS-Type )SS-series (ESD, Q-CR-ESD, Q, PS-Type)α-series(ESD, Q, PS-Type)* Sinceα-series screwdrivers feature high-speed rotation, their tightening torque may differ from the setting values depending on the various conditions of screws and parts materials.。

Ease of Use and Space SavingsOnly one finger or 6.9N (Newtons) of force is required tolock Hirose’s rotational actuator (flip-lock) as comparedto using 2 fingers and 39.2N to close a FFC/FPCconnector from our competition. The Flip-Lock design also allows customers to place 2or more connectors side by side as there is no need towaste additional board space for a side latch.2. Strengthened Flip-lock ActuatorThe standard Flip-Lock requires only 2.0mm heightabove the board. A strengthened lock lever is availablewhich only requires an additional 0.4mm.3. Supports Thin FPC (0.18mm)Hirose does not require double-sided FPC to have anyadditional strengthening plate or stiffener and can thereforesupport a thickness of as little as 0.18mm +/- 0.05.4. Hirose Ensures ReliabilityHirose’s patented half tuning fork contacts maintain therequired normal force without relying on the connectorhousing. With our competitor’s conventional productsthe housing walls support the contact force, which doesnot provide for long-term reliability.5. Prevention of Solder BridgeExcess solder cavity absorbs excessive solder andavoids solder bridging.6. Mounting InstructionsThe XG 105(w)/106(w)/115(w)/125(w)/135(w) appliances can be placed on a stable horizontal surface or can be mounted to a rack or you can hang it on the wall by using the optionally available rackmount kit.Warnings and PrecautionsThe appliance can be operated safely if you observe the following notes and the notes on the appliance itself.Rack PrecautionsÌEnsure that the leveling jacks on the bottom of the rack are fullyextended to the floor with the full weight of the rack resting on them.ÌIn single rack installation, stabilizers should be attached to the rack.ÌIn multiple rack installations, the racks should be coupled together.ÌAlways make sure the rack is stable beforeextending a component from the rack.ÌYou should extend only one component at a time—extending two ormore simultaneously may cause the rack to become unstable.General Server PrecautionsÌReview the electrical and general safety precautions that camewith the components you are adding to your appliance.ÌDetermine the placement of each component inthe rack before you install the rails.ÌInstall the heaviest server components on thebottom of the rack first, and then work up.ÌAllow the hot plug hard drives and power supplymodules to cool before touching them.ÌAlways keep the rack‘s front door, all panels and server componentsclosed when not servicing to maintain proper cooling.Rack Mounting ConsiderationsÌAmbient operating temperature: If installed in a closed or multi-unit rack assembly, the ambient operating temperature of the rack environmentmay be greater than the ambient temperature of the room. Therefore, you should install the equipment in an environment compatiblewith the manufacturer’s maximum rated ambient temperature.ÌReduced airflow: Equipment should be mounted intoa rack with sufficient airflow to allow cooling.ÌMechanical loading: Equipment should be mounted into a rack so that a hazardous condition does not arise due to uneven mechanical loading.ÌCircuit overloading: Consideration should be given to the connectionof the equipment to the power supply circuitry and the effect that anypossible overloading of circuits might have on overcurrent protectionand power supply wiring. Appropriate consideration of equipmentnameplate ratings should be used when addressing this concern.ÌReliable ground: Reliable grounding must be maintained at all times. To ensure this, the rack itself should be grounded. Particular attentionshould be given to power supply connections other than the directconnections to the branch circuit (i.e., the use of power strips, etc.).Connection and ConfigurationHow to connect the appliance is described in the Hardware Quick Start Guide. For configuration you can follow the initial setup wizard described in the WebAdmin Quick Start Guide or cancel it and perform a manual setup (see the Sophos XG Firewall Administrator Guide).SFP PortThe XG1xx rev.3 and XG 106(w) rev.1 models provide a SFP port allowing you to either insert a SFP Mini-GBIC (transceiver) to connect to a 1 GbE fiber or copper cable or to insert a VDSL2 SFP modem to directly connect to a VDSL line (via a RJ11 cable). These modules are not delivered with the appliance but available through your Sophos partner. Please note that there are different Mini-GBIC module types. The required type is determined by the existing network. The following SFP GBIC module types may be used:SFP:1000 Base-TIEEE 802.3 - 1 Gbit/s via Ethernet cable. An Ethernet cable category 5 covers a maximum distance about 100 meters.1000 Base-SXIEEE 802.3 - 1 Gbit/s via fiberglass. Multi-mode fiberglass cables (MMF) cover a distance of 200 m to 550 m.1000 Base-LXIEEE 802.3 - 1 Gbit/s via fiberglass. Here, exclusively singlemode-fiber glass is used. This transmission option covers approximately 10 km.Expansion ModulesThe XG 125(w)/135(w) support an additional expansion module allowing you to insert an optional 3G/4G or Wireless module (on XG 135w only). These modules are not delivered with the appliance but available through your Sophos partner. Please note that there are different 3G/4G modules available depending on the region you want to operate it in Americas/EMEA and APAC.Please see table below for further details. For installing the module please read the mounting instructions which are shipped with each module.Serial ConsoleYou can connect a serial console to either of the COM ports of the Sophos XG hardware appliances. You can use, for instance, the Hyperterminal terminal program which is included with most versions of Microsoft Windows to log on to the appliance console. Use an RJ45 to DB9 adapter cable or the provided USB cable to connect the console to your hardware appliance. The required connection settings are:ÌBits per second: 38,400ÌData bits: 8ÌParity: N (none)ÌStop bits: 1Access via the serial console is activated by default on ttyS1. The connections of the appliances and the respective functionality are listed in chapter “Operating Elements and Connections.”United Kingdom and Worldwide Sales Tel: +44 (0)8447 671131Email:****************North American SalesToll Free: 1-866-866-2802Email:******************Australia and New Zealand SalesTel: +61 2 9409 9100Email:****************.auAsia SalesTel: +65 62244168Email:********************© Copyright 2018.
