UN Speech
The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945 after the Second World War by 51 countries committed to maintaining international peace and security, developing friendly relations among nations and promoting social progress, better living standards and human rights.Due to its unique international character, and the powers vested in its founding Charter, the Organization can take action on a wide range of issues, and provide a forum for its 193 Member States to express their views, through the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council and other bodies and committees. The work of the United Nations reaches every corner of the globe. Although best known for peacekeeping, peace building, conflict prevention and humanitarian assistance, there are many other ways the United Nations and its System affect our lives and make the world a better place. In order to achieve its goals and coordinate efforts for a safer world for this and future generations, the Organization works on a broad range of fundamental issues——from sustainable development, environment and refugees protection, disaster relief, counter terrorism, disarmament and non-proliferation, to promoting democracy, human rights, gender equality and the advancement of women, governance, economic and social development and international health, clearing landmines, expanding food production, and more. For example, the day before yesterday, on the World Day against Child Labour, the UN called for greater social protection measures to end the heinous practice, which effects one in ten children worldwide. The week also saw adoption of a new protocol to tackle forced labour. So the United Nations is absolutely an effective organization in international affairs. The UN has 4 main purposes1.To keep peace throughout the world;2.To develop friendly relations among nations;3.To help nations work together to improve the lives of poor people, to conquer hunger, disease and illiteracy, and to encourage respect for each other’s rights and freedoms;4.To be a centre for harmonizing the actions of nations to achieve these goals.

Good morning. It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I stand before you today as the representative of [Country Name] to address the important issues at hand. As we gather here in this esteemed assembly, it is our shared responsibility to address the challenges that threaten the well-being and prosperity of our global community.First and foremost, I would like to commend the United Nations for its unwavering commitment to promoting peace, stability, and development across the world. The United Nations has played a crucial role in shaping the international order and fostering cooperation among nations. The Earth is facing unprecedented challenges, and it is our collective responsibility to combat this global crisis. As [Country Name], we have taken significant steps to reduce our carbon footprint and promote sustainable practices. We have implemented renewable energy initiatives, invested in green technologies, and supported reforestation efforts. However, more needs to be done.I urge all member states to fulfill their commitments under the Paris Agreement and strive for ambitious targets. It is crucial that we transition towards a low-carbon economy, phase out fossil fuels, and promote sustainable consumption and production patterns. Additionally, financial and technological support should be provided to developing countries to enable them to adapt and mitigate the adverse effects of climate change.Another critical issue is the prevention and resolution of conflicts. The United Nations has a moral obligation to uphold the principles enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and to ensure that these rights are respected and protected worldwide. In conclusion, the challenges we face as a global community are immense, but they are not insurmountable. By working together, pooling our resources, and upholding the values of peace, cooperation, and justice, we can create a more prosperous and sustainable future for all.As the representative of [Country Name], I pledge our unwavering commitment to the principles and objectives of the United Nations.

Distinguished Delegates,It is with great honor and profound gratitude that I stand before you today as a representative of my country, to address the esteemed members of the United Nations General Assembly. The theme of this session, "Sustainable Development: Building a Better Future for All," resonates deeply with us all, as we collectively strive to address the challenges that confront our world and to forge a path towards a more prosperous and equitable future.Ladies and Gentlemen,The world we live in today is a tapestry woven from the threads of countless cultures, languages, and beliefs. Yet, amidst this diversity, we find ourselves facing unprecedented challenges that threaten the very fabric of our global community. Climate change, economic inequality, and the persistence of conflict and violence are among the pressing issues that demand our urgent attention and concerted action.First and foremost, let us address the existential threat posed by climate change. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has issued a stark warning: unless we take immediate and decisive action, the planet we cherish will face catastrophic consequences. As a country committed to environmental stewardship, we have taken bold steps to reduce our carbon footprint and to support the global efforts to combat climate change. We have invested in renewable energy, implemented strict regulations on emissions, and promoted sustainable practices across all sectors of our economy. However, we recognize that this is a collective endeavor, and we urge all nations to join us in this fight. Let us commit to the Paris Agreement and to ambitious targets that will ensure a livable planet for future generations.Ladies and Gentlemen,Economic inequality is another critical issue that divides our world. While the global economy has experienced unprecedented growth, the benefits have not been evenly distributed. The gap between the rich and the poor continues to widen, and millions of people are trapped inpoverty. It is our duty to ensure that economic progress is inclusive and that no one is left behind. We must invest in education, healthcare, and infrastructure to empower individuals and communities. We must also tackle the root causes of inequality, such as discrimination and social exclusion. Together, we can create a world where prosperity is shared and where everyone has the opportunity to realize their full potential.Ladies and Gentlemen,The persistence of conflict and violence is a stain on the collective conscience of humanity. We have witnessed too many lives lost and too much suffering caused by senseless acts of aggression. It is time for us to put an end to this cycle of violence and to seek peaceful solutions to our differences. As a member of the United Nations, we are committed to the principles of peace, security, and stability. We support the peaceful resolution of conflicts and advocate for the protection of human rights. We must strengthen the capacity of the United Nations to prevent conflicts and to mediate disputes. Let us also invest inconflict prevention and in the rehabilitation of those affected by conflict, so that we can build a world where peace is the norm rather than the exception.Ladies and Gentlemen,In the face of these challenges, we must also recognize the incredible potential of our shared humanity. Innovation, technology, and global cooperation have the power to transform our world for the better. We must harness these forces to promote sustainable development and to improve the quality of life for all. This requires a new mindset, one that is inclusive, collaborative, and forward-thinking. We must break down the barriers that divide us and work together towards a common goal.To achieve this, we must prioritize the following actions:1. Strengthening multilateralism: The United Nations must remain at the center of global efforts to address the challenges we face. We must support the reform of the organization to ensure that it is more effective, transparent, and representative of all member states.2. Investing in education: Education is the key to unlocking the potential of individuals and communities. We must invest in quality education for all, ensuring that every child has access to the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life.3. Promoting gender equality: Women and girls are often the most affected by poverty and inequality. We must promote gender equality and ensure that women have equal access to opportunities and resources.4. Fostering innovation and technology: Innovation and technology can drive sustainable development and improve the lives of people around the world. We must encourage innovation and support the development of new technologies that can address the challenges we face.Ladies and Gentlemen,The future of our world is not predetermined. It is shaped by our actions and our collective will to make a difference. As we gather here today, let us be reminded of the shared responsibility we have to future generations. Let us commit to building a better future for all, one that is sustainable, equitable, and peaceful. In conclusion, let us stand united in our resolve to tackle the challenges that confront us. Let us work together to create a world where every person can live in dignity and security. Let us be the architects of a new era of sustainable development, where the dreams of our children are not just aspirations but realities.Thank you.。

Thank you very much! I am so humbled and honored to be here tonight. I never thought that I would have a chance in my life to be in the United Nations.I learned my English by myself when I was 12 years old, for whatever reasons, I don't know. I just felt in love with this language. Every morning from 5 oclock I rode a bicycle for 40 minutes, to the Hangzhou hotel looking for foreign tourists to teach me English.I showed them around the city, they taught me English.Since then, I began to have a habit. You should use your own brain to think about it, just one more minutes. When everything about it is yes, wait one minute. When everybody says no, wait for one minute. Think about it carefully. Cause if you look at the world from a different way, you may do it in a different way.And tonight, Im so honored to be inspired by all the Game Changer partners. By listening to their stories, I know there are so many things I should do, I can do better. There are so many things. And I think that here today I not represent of myself, but represent all the small guys, all the small business that Ive been working with.1995 when I left my University, I told my president of university that Im going to be anentrepreneur, do the internet. He said: “What is Internet”I said: “I don't know.” And he listened to me for two hours, and said: “Jack, I know you want to do something, I don't know what you do. But 10 years later, if you want to be back, please go back. I say: “Ok, ten years later, I will do that.” I know as a teacher as I said, teachers always believe the future, you believe that knowledge can change people's lives, you believe and you hope that your students are better than you are. Students are the best products. Today, I am not a teacher, but I got "CEO" in the "chief education officer” of my school. I know that my colleagues don't like me because I talk a lot. But I say, I do the talk, you do the work. When I started my business, its so difficult to be a small business owner in the China. It took me 5 months to borrow $500, but I still failed. No chance, and I don't have any idea to run a business. And when I go to register a company, called the Internet, the registered officetold me, no, theres no such a word Internet in the dictionary. How can can you register the “Internet” You have to registeranother name. So he advised me to use “Computer consulting firm”. But I had no idea about what is computer. So my first company was Hangzhou Hope Computer Consulting Firm. It was tough without knowing anything about technology, without knowing anything about the computer. In the past fifteen years, I called myself a blind man riding on the back of a blind tiger, but those experts riding on the horses all failed, we survived. Because we worried the future, we believed the future, we changed ourselves, we never complained about others. And we believe one thing, I told the team in my apartment, we have to prove ourselves, because if we can be successful, 80% of the young people can be successful. We dont have a rich father, we have a powerful uncle, we did not get one dollar from the government, we did not get one dollar from the bank, we startedfrom zero. So we have to work hard. Its not to prove ourselves, but prove our generation, prove the internet power. So this is what I want to share with young people. And the other thing I believe is small is beautiful. If nobody helps the small guys, we can use the Internet to help the small guys. Multi-National Companies was taken good care of by the Wall Street; only small businesses had nobody to help them. If we create value for them, then we will succeed. Our philosophy is that if you can help others successful, you will be successful. Im a person who believe the future, believe young people, believe innovation. And today I want to say one thing as the General Secretary said, the world is full of problems. Today, the world is full of complaints. I complained when I was 20 years old. There are Microsoft, IBM, CISCO, they are all big companies. We are helpless because they are too big. We complained. But now I never complain, I say I am a big guy too.I want to tell young people, where most people complain, where the opportunity is. Some people complain, and some people start to change themselves, changing others. Where the opportunities are is where the complains are. Where the trouble, where the opportunities.I always believe it, and this is how we go through. The last but very important, Im going to give you a t-shirt. Another T-shirt, right This is a special t-shirt of Alibaba IPO. Its all made by small guys. And this is a small guy. And small is beautiful, small is powerful. But in this T-shirt, very few people know that we have a secret codeof Alibaba's success. Just like the open sesame, theres asecret for Alibaba. The secret code for everybody is "Keep your Dream Alive”. Because it might come true someday. This is what the secret code is. Thank you very much.
United Nations Diplomatic SpeechExcellencies, ladies and gentlemen, it is a great honor to address this esteemed gathering of world leaders and representatives from across the globe. As we come together in this forum, I am reminded of the immense challenges and opportunities that face our world today. We find ourselves at a pivotal moment in history, where the decisions and actions we take now will have far-reaching effects on the future of our planet and all its inhabitants. It is imperative that we work together in a spirit of collaboration and cooperation in order to overcome the pressing issues that confront us.One of the most urgent challenges we face is the threat of climate change. The scientific evidence is clear and unequivocal – our planet is warming at an alarming rate, with devastating consequences for ecosystems, communities, and economies around the world. We cannot afford to delay action any longer. We must commit to bold and ambitious measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, transition to renewable energy sources, and protect and preserve our precious natural resources.Furthermore, we must address the issue of global poverty and inequality. Despite the progress that has been made in recent years, far too many people still live in dire poverty, without access to adequate food, clean water, or basic healthcare. We must redouble our efforts to eradicate poverty, promote inclusive economic growth, and ensure that all people have the opportunity to fulfilltheir potential and live with dignity. In addition to these pressing global challenges, we must also confront the scourge of conflict and instability. Too many people around the world are suffering as a result of violent conflict and war. We must work tirelessly to support peace and stability, protect human rights, and promote the rule of law. This requires genuine dialogue and diplomacy, as well as a commitment to addressing the root causes of conflict and finding peaceful and sustainable solutions. As we gather here today, we must remember that the United Nations was founded on the principles of peace, cooperation, and mutual respect. It is our shared responsibility to uphold and advance these principles in the face of the complex and interconnected challenges that confront us.In closing, I would like to reiterate the importance of unity and solidarity in addressing the urgent issues that face our world today. The United Nations provides a vital forum for dialogue and cooperation, and it is essential that we work together in a spirit of partnership and collaboration. By doing so, we can build a better future for all people, and ensure that our planet remains a safe and sustainable home for generations to come.Thank you.。
It is an honor to stand before you today as a representative of the global community, to address the pressing issues that confront us and to advocate for a more peaceful, sustainable, and prosperous future for all.As we gather here at the United Nations, we are reminded of the profound responsibility that lies upon us—the responsibility to uphold the principles of peace, security, and human rights that are enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations. It is in this spirit that I wish to share some thoughts on the current state of our world and the path forward.Firstly, we must acknowledge the unprecedented challenges that we face. Climate change continues to exacerbate natural disasters, threatening the livelihoods of millions and pushing vulnerable populations towards the brink of despair. The COVID-19 pandemic has not only taken a toll on human lives but has also exposed the fragility of our global health systems and the need for greater solidarity. In response to these crises, the United Nations must remain at the forefront of international efforts to address these challenges. We must strengthen our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which provide a roadmap for a more equitable and sustainable future. This includes prioritizing the needs of the least developed countries, ensuring that no one is left behind in our quest for progress.Furthermore, we must address the root causes of conflict and insecurity. This begins with promoting peacebuilding and conflict prevention, which is essential for sustainable development. We must invest in dialogue, reconciliation, and inclusive governance to foster a culture of peace and prevent the recurrence of violence. The international community must also commit to upholding the rule of law and promoting human rights for all. This includes protecting the rights of minorities, women, and marginalized groups, and ensuring that the voices of the most vulnerable are heard and respected. We must work together to combat discrimination, racism, and xenophobia, which continue to divide our societies and undermine our shared humanity. In the realm of economic development, we must strive for inclusive growth that benefits all segments of society. This requires investing in education, healthcare, and infrastructure, and ensuring that economic opportunities are accessible to everyone. We must also address thedigital divide, ensuring that technological advancements are used to bridge gaps and enhance the quality of life for all.The global response to the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of international cooperation and solidarity. We must build upon this momentum to create a more resilient and interconnected world. This includes strengthening global health infrastructure, enhancing vaccine distribution, and ensuring that all nations have the resources they need to combat future pandemics. In conclusion, Ladies and Gentlemen, the path ahead is not without its challenges. But with determination, unity, and a shared vision for a better world, we can overcome these obstacles. Let us reaffirm our commitment to the principles of the United Nations and work together to create a future where peace, security, and prosperity are within reach for all.Thank you.。

Distinguished delegates, ladies and gentlemen, thanks for giving me the privilege to be the firs t speaker. I cannot begin today’s speech without reflecting on the criminal challenge so brutally thrown in our faces 28 days ago and on the severe threat of the Kilo virus to Germany and to the whole world.
Today, 1167 Germans are dead or dying; infected people are estimated to be more than half a million.Today, the whole Germany has fallen into the desperation of fighting against the virus.Today is the 28th day after the Braunschweig crisis.
Twenty-eight days ago, more than 500 terrorists attacked Brauschweig. 37 policemen and 51 citizens died in this riot; thousands of people were wounded; buildings were burnt down; and the city was packed with tears, sadness and sorrows. Thanks to the brave men and women, it was their dedication and sacrifices that defended against the attack and protected the city. However, the situation became even worse after the attack. On that day, the Helmholtz Center for Infection Research also fell into ruins. Important experiments were disturbed and valuable documents were damaged. In the center, one of the most significant experiments was to modify the RNA sequence of the Kilo virus, which was designed to produce the vaccine. Nevertheless, our first experiment failed. What we got was merely a virus with longer incubation (5 days) and more aggressive behaviors of the patients. What’s worse, receptors of the new Kilo virus, namely 3 chimpanzees, which were supposed to be killed on the crisis day, disappeared in the fire. 35% of the research materials were burnt. It was believed that it was these chimpanzees that spread the virus to wounded citizens via blood. Since the Kilo carrier behaved absolutely normal during the incubation period, it was too late when we realized the situation and took corresponding measures.28天前,逾500名恐怖分子袭击了布伦瑞克,37名警员及51位市民在暴动中丧命,数千名民众受伤,建筑物被烧毁:整个城市都充斥着泪水与悲伤。

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. It is an honor for me to be here today to speak about the United Nations. As we all know, the United Nations is an international organization that was founded in 1945 to promote peace, security, and cooperation among nations. It has 193 member states and is headquartered in New York City. The United Nations plays a crucial role in addressing global issues such as poverty, climate change, and human rights. It provides a platform for countries to work together and find solutions to these complex problems. For example, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) works to reduce poverty and inequality, while the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) aims to combat climate change through international cooperation. In addition to its work on global issues, the United Nations also plays a vital role in peacekeeping. UN peacekeepers are deployed to conflict zones around the world to help maintain peace and security. They work to protect civilians, disarm combatants, and support the implementation of peace agreements. For example, the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) has been working to protect civilians and promote stability in the country since 2011.Overall, the United Nations is an essential organization that promotes peace, security, and cooperation among nations. It provides a platform for countries to work together and find solutions to global issues, and its peacekeeping efforts help maintain stability in conflict zones around the world.

Hello, I'm Severn Suzuki speaking for E.C.O. - The Environmental Children's Organisation。
We are a group of twelve and thirteen-year-olds from Canada trying to make a difference:Vanessa Suttie, Morgan Geisler, Michelle Quigg and me. We raised all the money ourselves to come six thousand miles to tell you adults you must change your ways. Coming here today, I have no hidden agenda. I am fighting for my future。
Losing my future is not like losing an election or a few points on the stock market. I am here to speak for all generations to come。
I am here to speak on behalf of the starving children around the world whose cries go unheard。
I am here to speak for the countless animals dying across this planet because they have nowhere left to go. We cannot afford to be not heard。
I am afraid to go out in the sun now because of the holes in the ozone. I am afraid to breathe the air because I don't know what chemicals are in it。

In my life, I have dreamt of seeing the great herdsof wild animals, jungles and rainforests full of birds and butterfilies, but now I wonder if they will even exist formy children to see。
Did you have to worry about these little things when youwere my age? All this is happening before our eyes and yet we actas if we have all the time we want and all the solutions.I'm only a child and I don't have all the solutions, butI want you to realise, neither do you!
You don't know how to fix the holes in our ozone layer. You don't know how to bring salmon back up a dead stream. You don't know how to bring back an animal now extinct.Andyou can't bring back forests that once grew where thereis now desert. If you don't know how to fix it, please stopbreaking it!
Here, you may be delegates of your governments, businesspeople, organisers, reporters or poiticians - but reallyyou are mothers and fathers, brothers and sister, auntsand uncles - and all of you are somebody's child。
I'm only a child yet I know we are all part of a family, five billion strong, in fact, 30 million species strongand we all share the same air, water and soil -- bordersand governments will never change that。
I'm only a child yet I know we are all in this togetherand should act as one single world towards one single goal。
In my anger, I am not blind, and in my fear, I am notafraid to tell the world how I feel。
In my country, we make so much waste, we buy and throwaway, buy and throw away, and yet northern countries willnot share with the needy. Even when we have more than enough,we are afraid to lose some of our wealth, afraid to share.

In Canada, we live the privileged life, with plenty of food, water and shelter -- we have watches, bicycles, computersand television sets。
Two days ago here in Brazil, we were shocked when wespent some time with some children living on the streets. And this is what one child told us: "I wish I was rich andif I were, I would give all the street children food, clothes, medicine, shelter and love and affection."
If a child on the street who has nothing, is willingto share, why are we who have everyting still so greedy? 如果一个孩子在自己一无所有的时候都能愿意分享,为什么拥有一切的大人却如此贪婪?I can't stop thinking that these children are my age, thatit makes a tremendous difference where you are born, thatI could be one of those children living in the Favellasof Rio; I could be a child starving in Somalia; a victimof war in the Middle East or a beggar in India。
