教师展示包饺子的图片，并板书cook→cooks→cooks Chinese food，后缀s可用另一种颜色标出。
3.教师拿出word puzzles,和一名学生边做边说：
T: I do word puzzles. What does he do? Ss: He does word puzzles.标出do和does,并板书，强调do的第三人称单数形式加“es”。
4.展示远足图片，并问：What else does he do? Ss: He goes hiking。
板书go→goes→goes hiking。
Step 3: Consolidation and extension
1.同桌二人模拟“Let’s learn”的对话，进行短语替换练习，抽到哪个单词卡片，就用哪个回答。
2.小组合作，总结动词第三人称单数形式的变化规则：
(1)一般情况下，直接加s，如：cook→cooks。
(2)以s, x, ch, sh结尾的动词，加es ，如watch→watches。
(3)以辅音字母加y结尾的动词，把y变i，再加es，如：study →studies。
(4)其它不规则变化。
3.完成“Listen, match and say”的部分任务。
先让学生看图，在图旁边标上相应的人名和动词短语，播放听力。
学生根据听力，做选择，教师再次播放录音，核对答案。
然后二人一组搭档，模仿示例，练习“Does he/she …?Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn’t”。
Step 4: Homework
用英语描述自己好朋友一天的生活情况。
本节课难度较大，是在学习动词原形的基础上继续学习动词的其他变化形式。
教师通过对比关键词，让学生总结的方式来进行教学，这有助于学生更主动地把握知识。
