2013-2014年石景山高三一模作文范文
Dear Chris,
I’ve finally made my decision to go to American for further study after high school.
I’ve been longing to go to American, mainly for two reasons. One is that I can experience American culture, and the other is that I can broaden my mind in this country. But I have some worries. My English is a bit poor, especially spoken English. I’m afraid I’ll have trouble communicating. Besides, I may suffer from heavy pressure from college course.
I hope you can offer me some practical advice.
Look forward to your reply.
Yours Joe
Dear Chris,
I plan to study abroad in America after my graduation. And I am writing to ask you for some advice.
By studying abroad,I aim to broaden my horizon and accumulate more knowledge. What’s more,I’d like to experience a different culture. However, every coin has two sides. Although it benefits a lot to study abroad, some problems still remain worrying me. On the one hand,I doubt whether there will be difficulties communicating with native speakers, since I’m not sure if my English is good enough. On the other hand, i t’s said that studying abroad brings much pressure on studies, which means it will be hard for me. Is that true? What’s your opinion? Do you think I need to improve my English in order to communicate with others fluently? And how? Or do I have to think twice about the plan?
I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice. Write to me soon. I am looking forward to your reply. Yours,
Joe

I am planning to go to America to study after I graduate from senior high school, and I want to ask you for some information about it.
First of all, my purpose of studying abroad is to increase my knowledge as well as to experience a new culture which differs from the one in China. However, I still get confused. What make me confused is the language barrier and the stress from the study. I am wondering whether I can get over the difficulties which result from the language. Besides, I also don’t w ant the stress to be too huge for me because I think that it is bad for my mental health. In the end, I would like to know your suggestions to me and I would appreciate it from heart.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours,
Joe
