What I am gonna talk about today is the Three Con fucius Sites which is located in a city called Qufu, Shandong Province. Qufu is widely known as the hometown of Confucius who is highly regarded as a Chinese teacher, politicia n and philosopher. It is said that Con fucius and his 3000 stude nts have greatly shaped Chinese culture in a hard way for thousands of years. Therefore, Confucianism

is a cornerstone of Chin ese civilizati on.

I first visited the Three Confucius Sites this summer during my family trip. The Three Con fucius Historical Sites con sists of the

Con fucius Temple, the Cemetery of Con fucius and the?K ong Family Mansion. An cie nt

architectural build in gs, an cie nt stone tablets, and Con fucius culture are the

highlights . Especially the architectures within it have been considered as the second largest scale an cie nt Chin ese architecture complex after the Forbidden City, therefore, it is a

great treasure to the en tire country which shows the beauty of orie ntal architecture and art in a vivid and real way. Besides, many of the plants in the Three Confucius Sites could be traced back to thousands of years ago which really amazed me, when I walked in the yards, you know, that was ast onishing. The reason why I chose to visit the Three Confucius Sites can be really simple. That is, Confucius and the Confucianism have been worshipped by millions of Chinese people over cen turies. What also interests me mostly is that this historic site features in the comb in ati on of n atural sce nery and historic

appreciation. I definitely would go there aga in someda y.
