But it seems that life drive us to run rather than we enjoy our life.In the busy, I prefer to spend some time to take a walk. I prefer a slow pace just like that I prefer tea to wine. What’s more, fast food does harms to people’s health. Work and life which should be our priority and why?Work is important .While there is a lot more to life than a job. The purpose of work is to make our lives more fulfilling. Without life there is no work, so in that sense, life must come before work. Whereas, without a job life will be become boring. Doing meaningful work is of great importance to a rich and rewarding life. We ought to give our ability to work, give our genius to our life.In a word, one should not have to choose between the two. But if must, then choose life.2.If your best friend is going to study in America, what advice can you give tohim(her) to help ease culture shockI heard that you are going to study in America, and I am both glad and worried about you. I am happy because it is commonly believed that aboard education can help young people not only in their knowledge but also in the personality cultivation, but I am still afraid because in foreign countries there are many differences and difficulties which you maybe cannot get over them. So I just find some advices and I hope them can help you.First, you need to practice your oral English, making it more and more excellent, then you can communicate with your American friends more efficiently, and I am sure that it can help you living more convenient, too.Second, you may take part in social activities and make more friends. No matter how gifted one might be , one should work hard because only practice can make perfect .Second, a good coach is also of vital importance. A good coach is willing to sacrifice himself to achieve greatness in one specific area. He not only teaches his athletes the skills to win but also the courage, heart and discipline to persist even if it takes a billion tries.Next, your goal must be practical and practicable. If you set your goal too high , chances are that you will never attain it.Then, athlete should make a plan of training. You can take some steps to realize it. Success is sure to wait for you at the end of the tunnel.4.Who had the biggest influence on you? And in what way?Looking back over the past ten years, I have the greatest impact to the people is my mother. My mother is no different from ordinary people, yet to me the most is her heart's normal mapping tolerance, understanding, open-minded and love it speechless.Mother's words, every move of my education, I learned tolerance, learned to understand and learn the extensive, learned to think for others. In my life, my mother is sitting next to me has always been the most pro-love, after their well-being,. She for me is too much to do too much, but she has never asked any of the return, how extensive it is a selfless love how ah! It is this love given to me too many things that cannot be forgotten.Mother's love, just like high mountains and the sea. The world may have plenty of peaks, it ca not compare my love for her. If I learned in the way people care and appreciate a bit, a little self-confidence and persistence, I have to thank the life I have the greatest impact on people - my mother.5.Would you mind marrying a person from a different culture or nation? Why orwhy not?Yes, I do. To start with, I must admit that I harbor strong reservations about mixed marriage. People from different nations grow up in different social and cultural background. They may have entirely different lifestyles, observe different traditions and think in very different ways. It is not always easy for a mixed couple to communicate with each other. Besides, they maybe not interested in learning each other’s language, in new holidays and traditions. They may not want to adapt to different customs, habits and foods. Furthermore, a mixed couple always has to face some public concern. In fact, many people cannot accept a cross-culture marriage, especially the old citizens. And some people still have prejudice on foreigners. If this is the case, the couples in a cross-culture marriage may have to endure some gossip, and their children may have to endure some pressure. If they can’t deal with these problems, they may break up in the end.An intercultural marriage is not for everyone. It requires extra strong level of patience, curiosity, tolerance for difference, and positive outlook that many people do not have.6.Do you think marriage based on love is more successful than arranged marriage? Why?Generally speaking, marriage based on love is more successful than arranged marriage .In its long history, China has witnessed many tragic events arising from arranged marriages. However, we should not go to extremes and claim that all arranged marriages are failures .After all, in the past 2000-plus years, most of the arranged marriages did survive, and some of couples did develop real love after their marriage. As for marriages based on love, they are not without problems. In the contemporary world, arranged marriages have almost disappeared. Boys and girls go out on dates and gradually develop a love between than before they get married. Strangely , the divorce rate has kept rising .And the reasons for divorce can be very simple : “we can no longer communicate with each other very well” or simply “I’ve gotten bored with him or her”. In spite of the drawbacks of marriages based on love and the occasional successful of arranged marriages ,it is obvious to all that the former are more in conformity with human nature .The traditional practice of arranged marriages should not be restored.7.Do you think love needs testing? Give your reasons.I think it depends on what do you consider as testing. As we know, love is a thing that is very uncertain. Even we don't know which kind of sensation is love or we are just like that one. If a guy says that he/she loves you, don't trust him/her immediately. Test is certainly necessary. How to test the guy is a big issue. To me, time the biggest test in love, just like in any kind of human relationships. We all take time to get to know someone and get close with someone. In time, we go through ups and downs with the ones whom care enough to go through them with us. True love is not like Titanic, that you need to test if someone can die for you. True love is a commitment that you need to find out who is willing to give you the tender, love and care no matter what circumstance are you guys under. However, love goes both ways, if you concern so much on rather that person really loves you or not, than you don't really love him/her because you still care about yourself the most. True love is unconditioned, not a game of exchanging efforts.8.Do you think tobacco industry should be banned or encouraged? Give yourreasons.I totally agree that tobacco should be banned, because there isn’t any goodness in tobacco: we only hear the negative effects of it and this clearly states that people are only gaining disadvantages in smoking.By banning tobacco industry the government can actually use the tobacco plantation for the other purpose like growing other types of plansBesides ,the most frequently advanced and widely accepted cause in favor of promoting tobacco industry is taxes, the authorities can hardly make ends meet , let alone to develop all kinds of enterprises, in particular to improve social facilities and to provide the masses with better education. However, millions of smokers and passive smokers are sent to heaven and hospitals every year due to a variety of smoking-concerned diseases, such as lung cancer and bronchitis. Is the investment to save lives and heal these diseases not taxpayers’ money? Moreover, the habit of smoking usually empties smokers’ pocket.9.Browse the Internet and list what possible harm smoking is likely to do.Today cigarette smoking is a widespread habit all over the world. The effects of smoking on human health are serious and in many cases.First, scientific research shows that smoking is not only harmful to smokers themselves, but also a threat to public health, especially to women and children. (Smoking is harmful and it is not only bad for smokers themselves, but also for non-smokers)Second, the poisonous gas from smoking is one of the major causes of many kinds of diseases. Research conducted in many countries has indicated that smoking causes lung cancer, heart disease and a lot of illness.Third, smoking is waste of money. It’s bad for the whole family, besides, careless smokers may cause dangerous fires. What’s more, diminished blood supply causes damage and death of issue; I think it’s self-battering.Therefore, I hope all the smokers can give up smoking for themselves and also for the people around them.10.Do you think a person’s name is associated with his or her success? Give yourreasons.Names asked about which symbol can represent one’s identity, the first answer occurring to most people, I believe, should be their names. Every single person owns a particular name, which uniquely refers to this individual. Name is such an essential part of personal life that it is deliberately considered by parents or grandparents even before his/her birth. Moreover, the name will be with person for a whole life, widely used under any situation, such as filling in registration forms, or a topic of conversations, to name just a few. However, some people hold different views regarding the necessity of names. They argue that name is no more than an arbitrary symbol. Also, they believe that the good wishes the names express to the person are merely imagination .In this sense, they don’t think names are of any great importance .As far as I am concerned ,owning a name is good for the orderly organization of our society. Also, names indicate the long history and culture and express our good wishes for our life and future. I think one's name has nothing to do with success at all. one's name is a just a symbol given by his parents to be identified by others, thus it is not relevant to success in any way. therefore, only by continuously working hard and struggling for it, can one really succeed in the end.11. Do you think people react to you differently when you wear different clothes? Yes, I agree with this view. Humans are curious about new things. So in front of your acquaintances, when you don't look like today and yesterday, he will add to your attention. Also, for a stranger, only your appearance and dress can attract the others. If you wear everyday, then people won't too much attention to you. So I think it very important. Of course. We live in a world that sees people based on what they have, or how they are dressed. It is very disappointing to realize that this is a fact, and that this plays an important role in our society. When we see a bagger on the street, dressed with an old, dirty, and ripped short, and shirt, his hair all messy, and without shoes on. Our first reaction is to walk away instead of giving that person a second chance, or even a second look. What if he was dressed with a clean suit, a haircut, and shiny shoes? Will people look at him in a different way this time? Most likely yes because clothes are important for the image that we need to present to others in order to be accepted.12.What are the major causes of stress in your life? How to deal with them? Stress is a state of being upset that happens when we are under pressure. Both our feelings and our bodies get upset. We can even get emotionally and physically sick if we have too much stress for too long.Stress can come at us from every direction. For instance, it can come from fights with other people. It can come when we have too many things to do and too little time to do them. It can also come when we do not have enough money to pay for what we want.Since stress can make us sick, we have to learn how to deal with it. There are good ways and bad ways to do so. We should deal with stress in good ways, of course. Good ways to cut down on stress include changing our lifestyles. For example, we can learn either to get along with people or to stay away from them. We can decide what to do now, what to do later, and what to leave off doing forever. We can also figure out how to get money or we can cut down on what we want.We should not deal with stress in bad ways because bad ways to cut down on stress just lead to more troubles, for example, skipping out and leaving our work undone, blaming our problems on someone else, stealing or cheating.13.What do you think is the aim of education? It shows him how to accommodate himself to others, how to throw himself into their state of mind, how to bring before them his own, how to influence them, how to come to an understanding with them, how to bear with them. He is at home in any society; he has common ground with every class; he knows when to speak and when to be silent; he is able to converse; he is able to listen; he can ask a question pertinently, and gain a lesson seasonably, when never in the way; he is pleasant companion, and a comrade you can depend upon; he knows when to be serious and when to trifle, and he has a sure tact which enables him to trifle with gracefulness and to be serious with effect. He has the repose of a mind which lives in itself, while it lives in the world, and which has resources for its happiness at home when it cannot go abroad. He has a gift which serves him in public, and supports him in retirement, without which good fortune is but vulgar, and with which failure and disappointment have a charm. The art which tends to make a man all this, is in the object which it pursues as useful as the art of wealth or the art of health, though it is less susceptible of method, and less tangible, less certain, less complete in its results.14.What do you think is the meaning of life?Life is certainly meaningful, for the word "meaningful" is derived from life; without life, there wouldn't even be the world "meaningful." So what is the point of life? Life is a process that everyone has to go through, plants, animals, and the highest order of all beings, the human beings. Life is filled with different experiences and obstacles for us to overcome. Life is filled with secrets and mysterious for us to explore and find out. We continuously seek knowledge, love and happiness in our lives; our desires can be placed into three categories: the crave for knowledge, the wonder for love, and the wish to help others. How can life not be meaningful while it contains so many meaningful things? To say that life is without meaning is to defy everything that has a meaning in the world. To say that life is meaningless is to say that you yourself is nothing. To say that life is not meaningful is an insult to life, to every living being, just as saying you are nothing, you do not mean anything is an obvious insult to you as an individual. Thus, I declare that life is not only meaningful, but filled with endless meaningful and wonderful substances.。

福建高考英语口语人机对话考试真题及答案

福建高考英语口语人机对话考试真题及答案全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Fujian High School English Oral Exam Real Questions and AnswersHey everyone! I'm sure many of you are stressing about the English oral exam that's coming up. I know I was super anxious about it before I took it. But don't worry, I'm going to share the real questions I got asked and how I answered them. Hopefully this will help take some of the mystery out of the exam and allow you to prepare better. The exam started off pretty simply. The AI examiner introduced itself in a friendly voice and made some small talk to ease me into the conversation. It asked me basic questions like "How are you today?" and "What's your favorite subject in school?" Remember to give full answers, not just one-word replies. Then it moved into the first main section, which was describing a picture. The AI displayed a photo of a busy city street scene and asked me: "What can you see happening in thispicture?" I looked closely and described all the details, like the people walking, vehicles in traffic, signs and buildings, trying to be as specific as possible.Next it asked me: "How does this scene make you feel and why?" I talked about how it made me feel energized seeing all the activity, but also a bit stressed just looking at how hectic it was, as city life can be overwhelming at times. I tried to analyze the image from multiple angles. For the second main part, the AI gave me a situation to respond to. It said something like: "You want to join an extracurricular club at school but they are all full. How would you convince the teacher to let you join?"This required putting myself in that hypothetical scenario and coming up with a persuasive argument on the spot. I talked about highlighting my strong interests, work ethic, unique skills I could bring, and emphasizing how joining would benefit me. I aimed to structure my response logically while still sounding natural. Then the AI asked me to discuss a more abstract question: "Some people say social media is having negative impacts on face-to-face communication. What's your perspective on this?"For opinion questions like this, I find it helps to lay out both sides of the argument first before stating your position. So I acknowledged how social media could potentially interfere with in-person skills, but also highlighted its ability to help connect people globally. Ultimately though, I argued that as long as it's used in moderation, it's a valuable tool alongside traditional human interaction.Towards the end, the AI moved into more academic prompts related to what we'd learned in English class. It asked me to summarize the main plot of a novel or analyze a poem or song lyrics we had studied. Having familiarity with the material makes these questions more manageable. My biggest advice is to keep your responses coherent and detailed, but don't stress if you have some minor篇2The English Oral Test - A Student's ExperienceAs I anxiously waited my turn for the English oral exam, I couldn't help but feel a mix of nerves and anticipation. This was a new format being piloted for the Fujian college entrance exams –a one-on-one dialogue with an AI system. While the prospect ofconversing with an artificial intelligence was intriguing, the stakes were high, and I knew I had to perform well. Finally, it was my turn. I entered the small testing room, greeted by a friendly proctor who briefed me on the process. In front of me was a sleek computer terminal with a microphone and speakers. The AI's disembodied voice welcomed me, introducing itself as Claude.Part I: Warm-upClaude: Hello, it's nice to meet you. Let's start with a simple warm-up question. What's your favorite subject in school and why?Me: Hi Claude. My favorite subject is English because I love learning about different cultures and being able to communicate with people from around the world.Claude: That's a great reason to enjoy English. Communication and understanding different perspectives is so important in our globalized world. What do you like most about learning the language itself?Me: I really enjoy the nuances and expressiveness of English. The way certain words and phrases can convey subtle shades ofmeaning fascinates me. I also love unraveling the etymologies of words and how they've evolved over time.Claude: You make an excellent point about the richness of English. Mastering a language goes beyond just vocabulary and grammar – it's about grasping the cultural context and history behind the words we use. I'm impressed by your passion for etymology and the evolution of language. The warm-up continued smoothly, with Claude asking insightful follow-up questions that allowed me to demonstrate my English proficiency and critical thinking skills.Part II: Role-playClaude: Now, let's move on to a role-play scenario. You are a volunteer at a local animal shelter, and I'll be playing the role of a potential adopter interested in getting a dog. Try to persuade me to adopt based on the information I provide about my lifestyle and preferences.I had to quickly shift gears, drawing upon my knowledge of animal welfare and adoption best practices. Claude played the role masterfully, asking probing questions and presenting hypothetical situations that tested my ability to think on my feet and communicate clearly.Part III: Opinion & AnalysisClaude: For the next part, I'd like you to share your opinion on the importance of artificial intelligence in education. Consider both the potential benefits and risks or drawbacks. You have two minutes to organize your thoughts before we discuss. This was my chance to showcase my analytical and persuasive skills. I spent the two minutes jotting down key points, organizing my thoughts into a coherent argument. When the discussion began, I was ready to engage in a substantive dialogue, drawing upon examples and evidence to support my stance.Claude challenged me with insightful counterpoints and probing questions, forcing me to think critically and defend my position. Our exchange was lively and intellectually stimulating, pushing me to articulate my ideas with clarity and precision.Part IV: Open-ended ConversationClaude: For the final part of our assessment, let's engage in an open-ended conversation. Feel free to direct the topic in any direction you'd like. I'm curious to learn more about your interests, goals, and perspectives. This was an opportunity to showcase my conversational abilities and personal depth. We explored a wide range of topics, from my future aspirations and philosophical musings to current events and global issues. Claude was an active listener, responding thoughtfully and asking insightful questions that encouraged me to think more deeply. As our dialogue drew to a close, I couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. The English oral exam had been a unique and enriching experience, challenging me in ways that a traditional written test could not.Claude's final words lingered with me: "You have demonstrated exceptional English proficiency, critical thinking abilities, and a genuine passion for learning. These are qualities that will serve you well, not just in your academic pursuits, but in navigating the complexities of our rapidly changing world. Congratulations on your performance today."As I left the testing room, I felt a renewed sense of confidence and excitement for the future. The English oral exam with Claude had been a true test of my abilities, pushing me to new heights and preparing me for the challenges that lie ahead.篇3Fujian Province English Oral Exam with AI Interaction: A Student's ExperienceAs an upcoming high school graduate in Fujian Province, the English oral exam was something I had been nervously anticipating for months. The idea of having a real-time conversation entirely in English seemed daunting, even after years of study. Little did I know, my exam would take an unexpected turn by incorporating an artificial intelligence component! The exam began straightforwardly enough. I was ushered into a small testing room and greeted by two examiners - one to evaluate my responses and another to facilitate the questions and prompts. The first portion involved reading a short passage out loud to gauge my pronunciation and fluency. Despite some minor stumbles over unfamiliar vocabulary, I managed to get through it without too much trouble. Then came the real challenge - the open-ended dialogue section. One of the examiners briefed me that for a portion of this component, I would be conversing with an AI assistant via a computer terminal. My heart started racing as I tried to envision what this could possibly entail. Were they testing our ability tointeract with technology using English? Or seeing how we'd respond to an impartial, unbiased interlocutor? The actual premise was rather fascinating. I was told to imagine myself as a university student in the year 2035. An advanced AI system had been developed to serve as a digital personal assistant for all enrolled students. My task was to engage with this AI, asking it questions and receiving its responses, all the while being evaluated on my English language abilities. The scenario seemed wildly futuristic yet plausible given the rapid pace of AI development. I had to admire the creativity and forward-thinking nature of this exam. Feeling a blend of intrigue and trepidation, I started my dialogue with the AI assistant displayed on the terminal screen."Hello, I'm Claude, an AI assistant created by Anthropic to help university students like yourself. How may I be of assistance today?" the machine greeted me politely.Collecting my thoughts, I decided to first inquire about some basic functionality. "Hello Claude. As a student, I'll likely need help with research and writing papers. Can you leverage your knowledge base to provide academic support?""Absolutely," Claude responded without missing a beat. "I have a vast knowledge base spanning numerous academic disciplines that I can use to assist you with research, writing, analysis, and pretty much any other scholarly task you may need help with. Feel free to ask me about specific topics or subjects."I smiled, realizing this could actually become a valuable resource if the real-world implementation matched the exam's portrayal. To test the AI's claimed breadth of knowledge, I posed my next query: "Excellent. Can you give me a brief overview of the history and principles behind quantum computing?"What followed was a impressively succinct yet detailed summary outlining the foundations of quantum theory, how quantum computers leverage phenomena like superposition and entanglement, and their potential future applications across fields like cryptography, chemistry, and artificial intelligence itself.I couldn't help but be amazed at the clarity and depth of the response.Feeling more at ease with this virtual assistant's capabilities, I changed tact. "Wow, thanks for that comprehensive explanation. Now, putting aside academics for a moment, I'm also interested in your abilities related to creative pursuits. Could you compose a short poem for me about the concept of artificial intelligence?"Claude paused for a moment before offering this poem:"In silicons and circuits entwined,An intellect emerges, refined.Algorithms align in neural nets,Processing data humanity begets.Machine learning spawns cognizance new,Artificial minds, startling in view.Evolving, expanding, ever more bright,Challenging conceptions of conscious light."The literary prowess of this AI didn't fail to impress. Its poem artfully examined AI from both its technological underpinnings and its philosophical implications regarding intelligence and awareness. I was genuinely in awe of the interdisciplinary capabilities being showcased here.As our dialogue continued, I decided to finally put the AI's helpfulness to a direct test based on my own academic interests. "Claude, I'm currently working on a research paper analyzing the effects of social media on teenage mental health. I've gathered data from various studies but am struggling to decide how toclearly and effectively structure my arguments. Could you provide some advice?""Certainly," Claude responded. "When structuring an analytical research paper, clarity and logical flow are paramount. One effective approach would be to..."What followed was a masterful walkthrough of crafting a well-organized analytical piece. Claude recommended establishing a clear thesis upfront, followed by carefully categorizing and sequencing my key points and evidence under distinct sections. It advised using transitional sentences to maintain coherent narrative flow between sections. The AI also stressed the importance of exploring counterpoints to strengthen my arguments and demonstrating critical thinking.By the time our exchange concluded, I felt like I had gained invaluable writing insights applicable far beyond this one research paper. The comprehensive, articulate advice showcased just how powerful an AI assistant could potentially be as an academic partner and guide. As for the exam itself, I sensed that my conversational abilities, vocabulary range, and overall English fluency during our dialogue would be evaluated positively. Truthfully though, I gotso absorbed in the engaging discussion that periodic evaluation was the furthest thing from my mind. While saying goodbye to my new AI acquaintance Claude, I reflected on how this exam captured the wondrous possibilities of human-machine collaboration. Rather than rendering us obsolete, advanced AI could become the extension of our own intelligence and creativity that allows us to learn, discover and achieve farther than ever before. For me, that insight alone made this unique examination format a transformative experience. An English oral exam assessing not just language, but our capacity to harness futuristic technologies. Who's to say scenarios like this fictional one won't become commonplace in the coming decades?Only time will tell what wonders the continuing AI revolution has in store. But if this exam was any indication, the students of tomorrow may find themselves equipped with digital assistants of incredible capability. As long as we wield that power responsibly and optimistically, applauding the symbiosis of human ingenuity and artificial intelligence, I believe our future remains brilliantly hopeful.。

Under such a boss, employees can gain valuable experience, which may serves as a good foundation for them to starta business of their won in the future.3. Is character more important than ability in finding a job? (第四单元)I think it is. Although many employer lay emphasis on candidates’ educational background and work experience, some believe that candidates’character is more important for a successful career. In contemporary society, man projects are so large that they require the coordination of a group of people rather than a single person’s effort. Therefore, a good team player is often welcomed. Professionally skilled people may not be able to accomplish a large project if they are easily angered and cannot get along with their colleagues. In fact it is becoming increasingly common for companies to test candidates’EQ before they decide to hire them.4. My view on low-carbon life(第七单元)Low-carbon life means lifestyle to minimize the energy consumed, thereby reducing carbon dioxide emissions. In my opinion, we should firstly save energy. Turn off the electric appliances in our house whene ver they are not needed. Don’t leave them in standby mode. Secondly, use less heat andair-conditioning. Set the temperature of your air-conditioners at 26 degrees in summer. Use less hot water by installing low-flow shower heads. Use cold water when washing clothes or the dishes whenever possible. Take a short shower and try to take a cold one when it gets warmer. Finally, ride a bike as often as you can. I also suggest the government building more roads for cyclists. Diesel-emitting buses should be replaced by low-carbon ones such as the electric vehicles. If we can do the things above and get used to doing it every day, our earth will become a safer planet for us to live on.6. What do you think of Chinese celebrating western festivals? (第九单元)There are a number of Western festivals celebrated in China such as Christmas,Valentine’s Day, April Fool’s Day and Mother’s Day. Among them, Christmas is the most popular among Chinese young people. They are fascinated by the beautiful and romantic atmosphere ambiance during the Christmas season even though it is created by producers and merchants who want to make a handsome profit from it. They also find it an ideal way to express love and care to their loved ones. When friends and lovers exchange gifts and get together for a huge dinner, they are excited and have a sense of warmth and closeness.Unfortunately, while some western festivals are becoming popular in China, many Chinese traditional festivals are neglected by young people. If those traditional holidays should disappear, it would be a loss to Chinese culture and to world civilization as well.7-12源自《新视野大学英语》(读写教程)(第三册)7. What is people’s attitude toward the disables? (第一单元)The disabled live in a world designed primarily for the able-bodied. Living with disability is difficult but can sting even more when they face all of the attitudes people have about disability whenever they go out in public. Some rude and insensitive people may stare at them and set them apart as useless. They hold doors for them, offer to carry their groceries, grab their children from the disabled’s path, try to relate to them with stories of other disabled people they know. But the worst part is that some employers refuse to employ a job applicant simply because of his condition or impairment even though he is suitable for the job. This is direct disability discrimination, whichcan never be justified.8.Do you think it necessary to involve parents in the education program? (第三单元)When parents are involved in their children's education program, both children and parents are likely to benefit. Some of the findings of major research into parental involvement are listed below:First, parent participation in their children's schooling frequently helps parents develop positive attitudes towards school and a better understanding of any particular approaches that are being used with a child, and they will support these strategies at home.Second, p arents who get involved take a greater role in their child’s education and activities around schooling. When they talk regularly with their children about school, their children will perform better academically and socially. It can also help to improve parent-child relationships.Third, parental involvement can make parents feel comfortable in the school environment and they are likely to ask for help or support related to their children when their children have an emotional or behavioral problem.9. What symbol do you think uniquely Chinese? (第四单元)The image of the dragon for example is one of the most prominent cultural symbols of the country, so much so that the country of China is often referred to as the oriental dragon. The dragon is a highly revered mythological character in the Chinese culture and as such the Chinese people consider themselves to be descendants of the dragon and are proud of saying that. The dragon is an imaginary creature that was developed by taking elements from a number of different creatures and composing them together to form this unique looking mythological beast. There are many events that revolve around the dragon such as the famous dragon dance and the dragon boat festival.10. What will you do to get well prepared for an earthquake? (第六单元)If I lived in an area where earthquakes were common I would prepare for the possibility of a great earthquake.First, I would regularly check and reinforce my home, place heavy objects in low positions, attach cupboards and cabinets to walls, and fasten doors so that they would not open accidentally during an earthquake.Second, I would have supplies of water and food at home and at work as well as something that can clean water and kill bacteria, so water from other sources could be made safe to drink.Third, I would keep a fire extinguisher handy and arrange an auxiliary cooking and heating source that could be used outside. Besides, a pair of heavy, comfortable shoes or boots was also needed to protect my feet against fragments of broken glass.11. What is the best use for the technology of cloning? (第八单元)There are many ways in which the technology of cloning is expected to benefit mankind. But I think it is best to use this technology to reverse some serious diseases, injuries or physical defects. With cloning, we can provide genetically identical cells for regenerative medicine, and tissues and organs for transplantation, which increase a greater chance of curing number-one-killer diseaseslike cancers and heart attacks. With cloning, we may also learn to grow nerves or the spinal cord back again when people are injured. Christopher Reeves, the man who played Superman, might be able to get out of his wheelchair and walk again. What’s more, with this practice doctors can also create a fertility treatment that allows parents who are both infertile to have children with at least some of their DNA in their offspring in the case that couples run out of time and money without successfully having children.12. Do you think a premarital agreement is necessary? Why or Why not? (第九单元)Necessary:A premarital agreement is a contract entered into prior to marriage, civil union (民事结合, 即同性结婚) or any other agreement prior to the main agreement by the people intending to marry or contract with each other. According to a poll, one in three of all first marriages end in divorce, as well as 50 percent of second or third ones. A prenuptial agreement is smart financial planning, since marriage is not just an emotional and physical union - it's also a financial union. A prenup and the discussions that go with it can help ensure the financial well-being of the marriage. It is like an insurance policy you hope you won’t need it, but in a divorce it may help eliminate some of the emotion that's naturally involved.A fairly negotiated prenuptial agreement can provide some reassurance to the wealthier spouse as to the extent of the financial impact of a divorce; at the same time it gives the less wealthy spouse some guarantee of his or her entitlement to a property distribution and/or maintenance upon a divorce.Unnecessary:A premarital agreement is a contract entered into prior to marriage, civil union (民事结合,即同性结婚) or any other agreement prior to the main agreement by the people intending to marry or contract with each other. Some people believe it is wise especially for the wealthier one to sign a premarital agreement. But I think if a couple love each other, prenuptial agreements should never be drawn up or even discussed. The thought of even broaching the subject can even be considered quite offensive to some future married couples. Asking a significant other to sign a prenuptial agreement can be considered by most as a sign of distrust. The question can come up, “if you don’t love me enough to trust that I’m not marrying you for you money, why are you even considering marrying me?” Or, “if I sign a prenuptial agreem ent, what is your incentive to remain faithful to me enough to continually love me unconditionally?”In fact, if one ask the right questions and learn “all” that they can about their future spouse at the beginning of their relationship, they would know that their love for their significant other is going to be everlasting, thereby rendering a prenuptial agreement unnecessary.Part II: (此部分为考官随意提问,为了尽可能地平衡各位老师提问的问题的难易度,考试前教研室主任会提供问题供主考老师提问。
