West Lake is a freshwater lake. It is said to be the incarnation of Xi Shi, one of the Four Beauties of ancient China. Since ancient times, West Lake was associated with a large number of romantic poets, profound philosophers, national heroes and heroines. It was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011. It has also been among the most important sources of inspiration for Chinese garden designers, as well as Japan and Korea over the centuries.
1. Curved Yard and Lotus Pool in Summer (曲院風荷)
Long before, there was an official winery in this site. In summer breeze, the air was scented with delicate fragrance of lotus intermingled with the tasteful bouquet of wine, and the lotus sway as if it were drunk. 2. Y ue Fei’s Tomb and Temple(岳庙)

5.Solitary Hill（孤山）
Solitary Hill got this name because it is surrounded by water, standing solitarily in West Lake. It is the lowest summit, compared to other hills around West Lake, but it is also the biggest island in the lake, and the only natural island as well.
6. Xiling Society of Seal Arts（西泠印社）
Xiling Society of Seal Arts is a Chinese arts organization. Founded in 1904 but with antecedents dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, it is one of China's most important traditional stone seal engraving associations.
7.Zhejiang Provincial Museum（浙江省博物馆）
Zhejiang Provincial Museum is a major museum of Chinese art inChina. It was established in 1929 as the West Lake Museum. It houses over 100,000 items in its permanent collection. The typical articles are pottery, lacquerwork, wooden handicraft, bone-ware and ivory-ware of Hemudu Culture Relics as well as the jadeware and silk products of Liangzhu Culture Relics.
8.楼外楼Louwailou Restaurant
Louwailou, literally meaning "building beyond building"in Chinese, is a famous restaurant located at the foot of the Solitary Hill near the West Lake. It has a history of more than 150 years, well-known for its "enjoying delicious dishes and beautiful scenery together".

9.文澜阁Wenlan Pavilion
Wenlan Pavilion, established in 1782, used to be an imperial library in Qing Dynasty. It archives nearly all books in ancient China. These books are called Si Ku QuanShu in Chinese, which
means “complete works in four forms of literature”.
10.平湖秋月Autumn Moon Over the Calm Lake
Chinese have a special connection with the moon because they believe its varied shapes symbolize occasions when family members part or gather. 11.白堤Bai Causeway
