但是每年因英语作文写跑题而与考研失之交臂的考生却不在少数，这直接反映出大部分考生还是小瞧了“看图说话”的作用。
●找准主题，关注主体考研英语作文写作最重要的就是要明确主题，这直接关乎我们的文章是否跑题。
因此在看图时我们要从两个方面下手。
首先，看文字。
考研英语作文的漫画都带有题目，我们往往从题目的概括就可以猜出图片主题。
此外，百分之八十的图画都有文字描述，即使没有也会在漫画上标明一些词汇，这些都有助于我们抓住主题，防止跑题；其次，关注图画中的主体动作，有考生在看图时常常关注一些不重要的小细节而忽视了漫画主体的神态或动作，这种做法无疑是本末倒置。
●中心扩散，有啥译啥掌握了中心思想，有的考生却对翻译图画无从下手，不知从哪一部分开始翻译。
都教授建议大家首先要从漫画中的主体人物或物体下手，通过描述他们的动作、神情、语言等来逐渐扩散到主体周围事物的描绘。
考研英语图画作文（一）
考研英语图画作文从1998年开始考，2000年再次出现，一发不可收拾，连续考到2005年，以其惯性，今年作文的准备就不敢排除。
1998年，母鸡下蛋题，虽然没有明说第一段要描述图画，但描述是不可少的，下来是阐释寓意，说明了一个什么样的丑恶现象，这里并不是什么了的事情没有实现，而是的事情本来就应该实现，所谓其实是本分。
最后是评论，其实是让你解决问题，所以要写三段：图画描述段，寓意阐释段，解决问题段。
2000年，船多鱼少题，第一段描述图画，第二段推断图画作者的意图，实则也是描述寓意，说明鱼类资源为什么会减少，最后让提出解决措施，用了一个：counter-measures。
2001年爱心是一盏灯在越黑暗的地方越明亮，第一段就让阐释寓意，指令里面用的词是：symbolic meaning，要求你说出对于这句话的理解，其实是解释，为什么可以把爱心暗喻作一盏在黑暗的地方越明亮的灯呢？灯在黑暗的地方越明亮，是相对而言，因为身处黑暗，所以那盏灯就越发明亮；爱心也是，因为身处困境，所以别人给你的爱心，你就越发能够感受到它的力量。
第二段是举例段，最后一段让你给出措施，怎么样才能够地表达爱心。
2002年美国女孩穿中国服装微笑，先描述美国女孩、中国服装、微笑，再阐述寓意文化交流，最后让你评论，事实上是对文化交流做一下总结展望。
2003年温室花朵题，指令明明白白，第一段描述图画，第二段阐释寓意，第三段给出implications in life。
Implications的意思是启发，启示，所谓的启发也就是，我们再也不能这样下去了，我们应该怎么样怎么样。
实则也是让你提出解决方案。
2004年终点又是新起点，第一段描述图画，第二段也是阐释寓意，终点为什么是新起点？我们应该怎么样用这样的道理指导我们的生活？第三段是举例说明，就是找出日常生活里面的一个例子，说明人生之路，奋斗永无止境，一个目标实现了，还要设定另一个目标，为之奋斗下去。
