失眠症的临床表现
1. Having difficulty falling asleep; 2. Having no access to heavy sleep; 3. Waking up early and having trouble falling asleep again; 4. Waking up from nightmares again and again, and feeling all night in nightmares; 5. Still tired after sleep.
The pathology(病理) of insomnia
Insomnia disease mainly on the heart, and involve in liver (肝),spleen(脾)and kidney(肾). The body's viscera function runs normally, our body then runs well, as a result, our sleep will be normal. Conversely, it will appear a sleep disorder.
Consequence of insomnia
1, amnesia (健忘): means be forgetful; 2, acceleration of forgetting rate; 3, feeling listless(无精打采的); 4,being absent-minded.

Insomnia(失眠症)
Insomnia refers to lack of sleep or poor quality of sleep, which causes fatigue(疲劳) or discomfort, such as inattention, weakness, poor alertness, low spirit, headache and tension.
The prevention of insomnia
1) keep the feet warm; 2) Do not open the window while sleeping; 3) Don’t make cleaning before sleep; 4) Do not put flowers in bedroom except tulip(郁金香); 5) Remove formal dress and ornaments; 6) Make the bed comfortable; 7) Exercise regularly; ……
Drugs for the treatment of insomnia
1.benzodiazepines(苯二氮卓类药物) 1)Long-acting: clonazepam(氯硝安定), estazolam(舒乐安定 ), Lorac(罗拉),diazepam(安定) 2) intermediate-acting: Alprazolam(佳乐定) 3)Short-term effect: triazolam(三唑仑) Therapeutic mechanism: anxiolytic(抗焦虑作用), Sedative and Hypnotic Effects(镇静催眠作用) 2. nonbenzodiazepines (非苯二氮卓类药物):Stilnox(思诺 思) 3. tricyclic antidepressants(三环类药物): amitriptyline (阿米替林), Doxepin(多虑平) Therapeutic mechanism: block up Histamine Receptors ( 组胺受体)and possess the sedative(镇静) effects.
The etiology(病因) of insomnia
1. Environmental cause: the sudden change of sleep environment; 2. Life style: bad living habits, such as drinking tea, coffee or alcohol before sleep; 3. Emotional state: extraordinary exciting or sad, or nervous, angry, depressed; 4. Health condition: like physical discomfort, sickness; 5. Withdrawal reaction of sleeping pills and alcoholic; 6. Drugs: like anti-cancer drugs, antiepileptic drugs(抗癫痫药), thyroid preparations(甲状腺制剂),central stimulant(中 枢性兴奋剂) and so on.
