学优生的智力较好，更重要的是学习习惯好，学习积极主动。
因此在教学过程中，对这部分学生在提出与其他学生相同的基本性要求的基础上，适当提高要求，增加难度，提供可选择的作业或任务，引导学生独立完成，并在必要的情况下给予帮助。
具体转化计划如下：一、定期与学生进行口语、听力、阅读等方面的练习与讨论，提高其英语运用能力。
二、组织学生参加多次单元检测活动，并给予辅导。
后进生的智力因素体现在感知笼统，思维缓慢，他们对所学内容的理解、应用等能力较差，因而学生往往出现“英语太难了，我是学不好的。
”“这节课我听不懂。
”“我比别人笨，怎么也学不会。
”长期发展下去，势必造成成绩落后。
就随即产生自卑、畏惧等心理。
因此，我根据后进生的特征进行转化，因势利导，做到因材施教。
后进生非智力因素体现在学习上没有兴趣，上课好动、注意力不易集中、不求甚解，解决困难问题意志薄弱，没有养成良好的学习习惯等。
他们并不是“朽木不可雕”的差生。
他们的差主要是行为、习惯、态度等方面的缺陷。
根据后进生的形成原因特制定计划如下：一、和学困生交朋友，多做他们的思想工作，帮助他们分析自己的优势与不足，指出前进的方向。
要对学困生的内心世界有了一定的了解，我发现转化学困生首要的工作是尊重他们做一个快乐的人，一个自强不息的人。
二、善于发现他们的闪光点，及时给予表扬和鼓励。
俗话说：“一句赞扬，胜过十句责骂”，对那些平时被轻视、受冷落，数落之声不绝于耳的学困生，一声赞扬无异于久旱的雨露，久雨的阳光。
这将满足他们受尊重的心理需求，让他们也能享受成功的快乐，找回自信和自尊，激起他们克服困难的信心和勇气，力争上游。
三、多宽容学困生，允许他们有失误、有反复。
学习本身就是一件比较困难的事情，学困生由于基础差、能力弱等原因，学习好就更不容易。
好的学生也会有错，那么学困生多犯些错是天经地义的，没什么大不了，如果他们不犯错，那他们就不是学困生。
四、同班主任认真做好差生的思想工作，注意因材施教，摸准学生的性格特点，然后对症下药，以鼓励为主，增强其自信，消除自卑，使师生感情进一步融洽。
常言道：“冰冻三尺非一日之寒”。
转化学困生的工作常常不是一蹴而就的。
学困生不是天生的，作为教师能晓之以理，持之以恒，教学得法，自己不丧失信心。
