1926.1101 Asbestos Standard

Aggressive Method 激进的方法 means removal or disturbance of building material by sanding, abrading, grinding, or other method that breaks, crumbles, or disintegrates intact ACM.指用打磨、研磨或其他来移动或扰动建筑材料，或者其他方式破坏、弄碎、瓦解完整的含石棉的材料。

Amended Water means water to which surfactant (wetting agent) has been added to increase the ability of the liquid to penetrate ACM. 改性水指的是添加了表面活性剂（润湿剂）来提高液体对含石棉材料的渗透能力的水。

Asbestos includes chrysotile, amosite, crocidolite, tremolite asbestos, anthophyllite asbestos, actinolite asbestos, and any of these minerals that has been chemically treated and/or altered. For purposes of this standard, "asbestos" includes PACM, as defined below.

Assistant Secretary means the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health, U.S. Department of Labor, or designee.

Class II Asbestos Work means activities involving the removal of ACM which is not thermal system insulation or surfacing material.
