• spoken to our Charterer and got permission to carry out the load testing of this crane Important Note : first upon vessel berthing without any delay . Loading / discharging of containers will carry out on other bays of the vessel. only 3 hours to carry out the load test. Therefore we need your full

attention and co-operation on this arrangement. To avoid causing any delay on the cargo operation and vessel’s Shanghai, All the load testing equipment such as water bags, load testing cell, couplings, fittings, Safety slings etc and your manpower needs to be at the berth side at least one hour before vessel’s berthing

. It will be better for our man and equipment to wait for vessel berthing rather than vessel to wait for our side.

• Inform the supervisor attending for the job to take and ensure all safety precaution measures before and during the load testing operation.

Crane loading test parameter：

Details about crane loading test Container ship port time is very short, we must communicate well with owner and docks; Reserved enough time for loading test。The time limit for the container terminal, using water bags is better than Weight blocks。Firstly, if there is something wrong with the lifting capacity, using Weight blocks is very dangerous, secondly, container terminal could not stop working, so we can't take up terminal instead only operate on the hatch cover; Water bags is the best choice。

Good cooperation time using water bag doing the loading test：

1. Equipment moved from the car to the deck and assembled time required 10 minutes。

2. Water bags irrigation time, 40 t time required 40 minutes

3. Hoisting time: Hoisting test + in the brake test + rotary test; time required 15 minutes。

4. Drainage time time required: 20 minutes to 30 minutes

5. Equipment to remove time required : 5 minutes。

The crane loading test, Preparation MIN time required: 100 minutes, An additional 30% allowance。Total 2 hours so by the same token, if is two Cranes to do the loading test. Time required should be double basic listing. Report to the owner of a single crane loading test, time required three hours。

If it is bulk carrier, whether the required time or the difficulty of operation will less; And renting the iron cost will reduce a lot。
