During the day, when we are working, we leave the 'bags tied to the wall, out of the way. At bedtime we untie them and take them wherever we've chosen to sleep.On most spacecraft flights everyone sleeps at the same time. No one has to stay awake to watch over the spacecraft; the craft's computers call us on the radio.On the spacecraft, sleep-time doesn't mean nighttime. During each ninety-minute orbit (轨道) the sun "rises" and shines through our windows for about fifty minutes, then it "sets" as the spacecraft takes us around the dark side of the Earth. To keep the sun out of our eyes, we wear black sleep masks.It is surprisingly easy to get comfortable and fall asleep in space. Every astronaut (宇航员) sleeps differently: some sleep upside down, some sideways, and some right side up. When it's time to sleep, I take my bag, my sleep mask and my tape player with earphones and float (漂浮) up to the flight deck (驾驶舱). You should make the correct choice and mark the corresponding letter on the Answer Sheet with a single line through the center.In giving a business presentation, many speakers think that if their idea is strong, their audience will get it readily. They feel discouraged when the audience is unable to understand their presentations. That happens a lot especially when technical experts are invited to make a product presentation to a group of users.What can we do to make a business presentation easier to understand? In my view, good presentations have always been simple and visual. In an effective business presentation, the fewer the points, the better the message gets passed on. You focus on the depth of coverage instead of the width(广度) of coverage. Additionally, you make your ideas visual and relevant, so the message is understood better and remembered longer. Great business presenters relate their ideas and concepts to their audience by using simple, powerful diagrams instead of relying on text-based slides. In fact, drawing diagrams forces a presenter to make the idea clear even at the preparation stage. Itis impossible to draw a diagram when you are not clear about an idea. When your idea is clear, it is easier to transfer it. Most audiences understand a diagram faster and remember it longer. This possibly explains why most of the memorable presentations have been visual in nature.36.Many speakers believe that the stronger their idea, .A)the more powerful their speech will beB)the more meaningful their speech will beC)the more easily the audience will understand itD)the harder the audience will find it to follow37.Why are you advised to give fewer points in your presentation?A)To pass on the messages better.

1M:Jane;you seem to have worked overtime at your office.W:That’s true.But I don’t mind the extra hours because the work is interestin9.Q:What does the woman think of her work 2005.1/T1A.It’s attractive.B.It’s excitin9.C.It’s borin9.D.It’s importan t. 2W:I’m SO tired;I don’t think I call finish this report.M:Go home now.1eave that to me.Q:What does the man offer to do 2005.6/T3A.Write a letter for the woman.B.Take the woman to the office.C.Drive the woman home.D.Finish the report for the woman. 3M:I’d like to buy a new dress for my wife.W:The women’s department is up on the second floor.Q:What does the man want to buy for his wife 2004.6/T3A.Flowers.B.Glasses.C.A blouse.D.A dress. 4M:Madam;what are you going to orderW:Just a cup of coffee and a sandwich.Q:Where does the conversation most probably take place 2004.6/T1A.In a bookstore.B.In a bank.C.In a snack bar.D.In a library. 解答本题可以根据对话中的“0rder”和“a cup of coffee and a sandwich”这些单词判断出对话发生的地点是“a snack bar小吃店”..4时间判断题占所有的听力题总数的10%.. 5M:Will the lecture begin at 1:40 or 2:00 o’clockW:N0; it begins at l:30 and ends at 3:00 o’clock.Q:When will the lecture start 2003.1/T4A.At 1:30B.At 1:40.C.At 2:00.D.At 3:00. 6M:Can I rent a room for two weeks I’m not sale whether I’ll stay for a whole month.W:Yes.It’s$150 a week but only$400 a month.Q:How much will the man pay if he rents the loom for two weeks 2005.1/T5A.$150.B.$200.C.$300.D.$400. 7w:Good morning;Hilton Hotel.May I help youM:Hi.I’d like some information about your hotel.Q:What is the woman 2003.6/T5A.A waitress.B.A salesgirl.C.A housewife.D.A receptionist. 例如:例lLi Lei didn’t meet the famous American professor ____he was on holiday in America last year.2004.6/T24A.unlessB.untilC.if D.whether译文直到去年李雷在美国度假时;才见到了这位著名的美国教授.. 2He got a message from Miss Zhang_____ Professor Wang couldn’t see him the following day.2003.6/T25A.whichB.whomC.that D.what译文他从张小姐那里得到消息说王教授第二天不能见他.. 3we were shocked to find that the mancome_____towards US was carrying a gun.2002.1/T32 译文我们吃惊地发现朝我们走过来的那个人带着枪.. 4My boss said that he was badly___need of my assistance.2006.6/T16A.atB.inC.for D.with译文老板说他急需我的帮助.. 同类由介词in加上名词构成的词组还有in order;in other words;in peace;in time等等..4. 中so…/such… 5__got in the wheat than it began to rain heavily.2001.1/T20A.No sooner have they B.No sooner had theyC.No sooner they have D.No sooner they had译文他们刚收割完小麦就开始下大雨.. 常见的表示否定意义的词或结构有:little;few;neither;nor; seldom;rarely;seldom;hardly;by no means;under no circumstances;no sooner…than;not…until;hardly/scarcely…when等.. 6Though he____well prepared before the job interview;he failed to answer some important questions.2005.6/T23A.will beB.would beC.has been D.had been译文虽然在面试之前他已经做了充分的准备;但对于一些重要的问题他还是未能回答好.. 7It is required that every employeecome____in their uniform before 8:00 a.m.2003.6/T31译文根据要求;每个员工都应在上午8:00之前穿制服来上班.. Which of the following is TRUE according to the passage 2001.1/T43A.One should not apply flint aid to the injured without knowing the cause of the accident.B.It is easy to carry out first aid if one has the necessary facilities.C.First aid is an important part of the whole treatment.D.First aid may not be effective before a doctor or expert comes. First aid is the care given to the injured or sick as soon as possible after an accident or illness.It is this immediate care and attention before the arrival 0f the ambulance that sometimes means the difference between life and death;or a full or partial recovery. 第二种是在题干部分常出现如下的表达方式:“…the author probably means that…”2002.6/T36;“…in order to show that…”2005.1/T38.“…mainly about…”2004.6/T45.. 如“From the passage we learn that the purpose of collecting taxes is to__”2001.6/T40之类的题型不仅需要考生根据上下文加以把握;而且需要进行一定的推理..2真题例解The writer gives the example of national defense is paragraph 2 in order to show that______.2001.6/T37A.there will be no safety if there is no national defenseB.all the people should be responsible for national defenseC.a public good is a shared benefit for the whole societyD.some public goods are more important than others首先通过从题于中找到关键词“the latest survey”;可知这是一道关于“最新调查”的问题.. A public good is one that a person can use without reducing the use of it for another person.One of the best examples of a public good is national defense.One person can benefit from our national defense without reducing another person’s benefits.In fact;it is difficult to keep any person in our society from enjoying the benefits of national defense.

1)理解所听材料的主旨或要点;
2)理解具体信息;
3)理解所听材料的背景说话人的关系等;

1)理解文章的主旨和要点;
2)理解文章中的具体信息;
3)根据上下文推断生词意思;
4)根据上下文做出简单的判断和推理;
5)理解文章的写作意图、作者的见解和态度等;
6)就文章内容做出结论;

1)正确翻译一般语句,基本符合汉语习惯;
2)正确掌握被动语式的译法;
3)正确掌握倍数的译法;
4)正确掌握定语从句的译法;
