教学重点:非谓语动词各形式之间的区别。

教学难点:非谓语动词各个形式的掌握与运用。

教学过程:一、非谓语动词的概念:非谓语动词是指在句子中不是谓语的动词,主要包括不定式、动名词和分词(现在分词和过去分词),即动词的非谓语形式。

非谓语动词除了不能独立作谓语外,可以承担句子的其他成分。

二、非谓语动词的基本形式1.做主语(Subject)动名词:多指抽象的,概念性的动作,可以是多次经常的行为。

不定式:多表示具体的动作,尤其是某一次的动作。

boiling water 沸腾的水(状态) developing country 发展中国家boiled water 烧开的水(完成) developed country 发达国家3.做宾语(Object)(1)用在decide、determine、expect、hope、wish、pretend、offer、agree、choose、manage、prefer、help后用to do形式。

She pretend not to see me when I pasted by.We agree to meet here but so far she hasn’t turned up yet.(2) 在advise、allow、ask、encourage、invite、persuade、ask、tell、warn后加sb to doThe teacher encouraged us to recite the text.The doctor warned him not to eat too much meat.(3)在使役动词(have、let、make)和感官动词(see、watch、observe、hear、notice)后用省to的不定式。

注:被动事还原to。

I heard her sing an English song just now.I heard her crying, when I passed by.(4)在consider、suggest、look forward to、finish、imagine、risk、avoid、keep on、practice、deny、enjoy、devote to、stick to、object to、give up、have difficult in 、spend后用doing作宾语。

The boy has difficult in learning math.(5)有些动词既可用doing也可用to do做宾语,但意义有区别。

to do 未做① forget/remember/regretdoing 做过to do to do②stop ③meandoing doingto do④can’t helpdoing⑤need/want/require/ doing = to be done4.作状语(Adverbial)(1)to do 形式Helen had to shut to make herself heard above the sound of the music.(表目的)I am so sorry to hear your mother is ill.(表原因)He hurried to the station only to find that the train had left.(意料之外的结果)He is old enough to go to school.区别:in order to 和 so as toIn order to catch the first bus, he get up early.The bus stopped so as to pick up passengers.(2)v-ing、v-ed形式①v-ing:与句中主语构成逻辑上的主谓关系,与句中谓语动词同时(基本上)发生,或没有一定的时间性。
