概述
• 旅游资料包括：旅游文本是一种应用文体，主要 包括旅游景点介绍、旅游告示标牌、酒店宾馆介 绍、民俗风情画册等旅游业营销的重要内容。
• 文本目的--- 通过传递信息来吸引旅游者，或帮助 游客了解情况。要让普通读者看懂，并能从中获 取相关的自然、文化风俗等知识。 • 文本功能--- 1. 传递信息 2. 诱导行动（营销功能）
5. 翻译“内伤”
• 旅客必须遵守宾馆的规章制度，服从工作人 员的管理，爱护公共财物。（顾客须知）
• 译文1：Every guest has the obligation to abide by the rules and regulations of the hotel, cooperate with the personnel in carrying out their duties and take good care of the property in the hotel. (Customer Notice)
交际功能：the vocative (呼唤功能）
(Mostly to persuade or to direct the reader)
汉英旅游文体的不同特点
• 汉语旅游文体：辞藻华丽，喜欢用四字结构，匀 称对仗，读起来音韵和美，语气连贯，且文风优 雅，用典很多，颇具文化内涵，表情功能突出。 • 英语旅游文体：强调自然真实的理性之美，描绘 景物往往以读者为中心，直观可感，文辞简洁， 一语中的，最忌重复累赘，忌文字堆砌，追求一 种流畅自然之美，信息、劝说功能突出。

• 华清池有一贵妃池，相传是杨贵妃当年沐浴的地 方。唐代诗人白居易的《长恨歌》中有：“春寒 赐浴华清池，温泉水滑洗凝脂”的诗句。 • 译文1：Inside the Huachingchih Spring, there is a bathing
pool called Kueifeichih which is said to have been the bathing place of Yang Kueifei. The famous poet Bai Juyi of the Tang Dynasty wrote The Ballad of Endless Woe which contains the following verse: It was in the chilly spring time, They bathed in Huaching Lake. And in the tepid waters, The crusted winters slack.

文本功能
Peter Newmark 把文本从功能上分为： 表达功能：the expressive (表情功能）
(typical of literary style )
信息功能：the informative
(Most non-literary work where facts are more important than style)

• 正确的译法：

• 汉译英时，要注意两者区别，不能强求译文与原文在形式 上保持一致，而要以满足译语读者的需求为目的，考虑读 者的审美心理和接受习惯，进行适当的转换。
