Now , Please pay attention and listen！There is a piece of beautiful music coming from the front .That's the local Tujia girls' folk songs 。Can you see a platform ahead ?Some beautiful and dressed-up tujia girls are singing molody local songs. They are singing and dancing to greet every guest. Their sweet songs will make you wonder the local customs,will you?And their straightforward ,kind ,plain and hospitable will let you feel happy and loosing than ever .At this time ,Have you know the truth of the warmth of the honest natives? Now please look at the mont on the right side .There is a round pillar about 20 metres high,and there is a stone case on it. The case is about 3 meters long ,1.5 meters wide and a stone slab covers half of it. There are 5 green pine trees standing surrounded .There is a tale about the scenic spot .Zhang Liang , with the official title Liuhou, had ever hidden 3 heavenly books in the case. Which were given by his master named Huangshi Taoist. But what’s the single pillar spot? It’s rising high from the lever gound up to

the sky ,about 300 meters high.That’s the famous “Southern Pillar of Heaven .It

stands under the Southern Gate to Heaven ,so hence the name. In fact, every single

rock of Huangshi Village has its unique beauty. The scenes will let you surprised

and want to know why the nature is so fantastic?

According to geologists,"This area used to be a part of the ocean. 3 00 million

years ago. There used to be a part of ocean. About 100 million years ago , the

concretion of sands deposit transformed to layers of stone. About 500 metres thick.

In the process of geological movement, some part rose up become the mountain .For

the constant effect of water, wind, and gravity, the sandstone layer developed into

all these imposing peaks and crags, and finally this picturesque landscape came into

view.

It is impossible and unnecessary to describe every scene as other things. Now we

climb up to the Star Gathering Stage successfully. As the ancient poem goes like:

When you ascend on the summit, all other mountains are inferior"The imposing tower

is so high, that you can almost gather the stars on the sky. What a romantic place!

Especially at night, standing on the stage you can't help but stretch out your hands

to gather the twinkling stars encircling on your head。 "

This man-made pavilion is called Six Wonders Pavilion . Why it is named "Six Wonder

Pavilion"? the"six wonders" refer to special mountains, springs, rocks, clouds,

plants and animals.
