The upper part is exactly what has been described in chapter 1 for module PQ0*-F00.The maximum current requirement for version PQ0*-P00 reaches up to 2.8 A, because now two proportional solenoids need to be supplied. The lower part in figure 6 shows the control of the proportional pressure pilot valve. Also for pressure setting either a voltage command (0 - 10 V) or a current command (0 - 20 mA) can be used. Also this command signal can be controlled by a potentiometer connected to the reference voltage pin 34.The pressure control circuit is equipped with an electronic network that linearizes the characteristic of the proportional pressure pilot valve (pressure over input signal). This network is dimensioned for Parker pressure valves.Figure 8: electronic module PQ0*-Q00The electronic circuit of this module is shown in figure 9. The difference to the circuit shown in figure 6 is the additional interfacefor a pressure sensor and the PID controllerfor a closed loop pressure control. As shown in figure 7, the pressure sensoris positioned in the pilot circuit. According to the differential pressure adjusted at the compensator valve, the system pressure is higher than the controlled pressure.Figure 9: electronic circuit of module PQ0*-Q00displacement.Figure 11: electronic module PQ0*-L00hydraulic circuit of a pump with ...WPR control (with shuttle valve subplate)Figure 16:shuttle valve subplate for p-Q-controlled pumps, code ...WPRsolenoid current, displacement control stagedisplacement control valve, code PVCF*PV**shuttle valve subplatepressure compensator stage, code PVCF*P2**f l o w Qpressure p 1pressuredisplacementshuttle valve insertinternal pressure port, G 1/4“ (second port opposite side)Figure 21: inductive positon transducer (LVDT), outside viewMAX-adjustment:Next the command for the displacement is to be increased, until the maximum displacement of the pump is reached. That can either be monitored by using the diagnosis output or a flow meter at the pump outlet. The maximum displacement is reached, if the displacement / flow does not further increase, even when the input command is still raised. In a control situation the solenoid should draw approx. 60 % of its nominal current (no-minal current 1,3 A; current in control situation 750 mA). Under these conditions the soleno-id provides approx. 50 % of its nominal force. That leads to a similar response for on- and offstroking. By turning the adjustment screw, this can be achieved.

Parker P55 Series 1/4” to 2” NPT Installation, Operation & Maintenance ManualInstallationParker T-Type Coalescer “C”, “C10”, Water Separator “WS, and Adsorber “A” filters should be installed in a level pipeline, mount-ed vertically, the bowl downward with one bowl length clearance for element removal. The filter should be installed at the highest pressure point available, and as near as possible to the equip-ment to be protected and have a drip leg immediately upstream. The coalescers and particulate filters should be visible and easily accessible for periodic draining and maintenance. Filters should be piped according to these instructions also following the flow direction label on the filters. These filters flow as follows:Coalescers: from 1 to port 2Water Separators: from port 1 to port 2Adsorbers: from port 2 to port 1The following are recommended filter locations relative to other compressed air equipment (unless specific instructions are given to the contrary):1. The WATER SEPARATOR (bulk liquid removal) is placedbefore a COALESCER.2. The COALESCER (liquid removal) is placed before theADSORBER.3. The ADSORBER (vapor removal) is always precededby a COALESCER OperationAir coalescing is a continuous, balanced, steady-state process occurring at or below rated flow, which depends on two factors for high performance: (1) The bowl must be kept free of waste liquid build-up and (2) The element must be replaced when the differential pressure reaches 6-10 psid, 12 psid maximum. Differential pressure can be sensed at the inlet and outlet ports by two gages, or by Parker’s DPG-15HP differential pressure gauge, or by observing system characteristics.Bowl draining is accomplished by opening the manual drain valve (standard on all housings), at least once every 8 hours depending on the liquid load.A Parker coalescer, under normal system conditions, will operate for6 to 12 months before reaching its maximum differential pressure. Parker coalescers are designed for nominal operation with 10-20 wt. oil. Any viscosity increase over that of 20 wt. oil must be offset by a proportionate oversizing of the filter element. Consult your Parker representative.Filter housings must be depressurized beforeperforming any maintenance activities.Verify depressurization using a pressure gaugeknown to be in good working order.DANGER !When Coalescer differential pressure reaches clogged condition (6-10 PSID) replace element immediately. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN FILTER TUBE. System contamination can result. DO NOT BY-PASS THE COALESCER unless the by-pass line is also filtered.2. Add dry & wet for total pressure drop3. Do not install this product in a place with direct water contact (rain, etc). Also install this product in a place without dew condensation or direct sunlight.Product Function[Pulse Adjustment Screw]This is a throttle valve for pulse ON time adjustment (Approx.5 to 15 Hz). When tightening this screw clockwise with flat-bladedscrewdriver, the air ON time will be longer. When loosening the screw counter clockwise, the air ON time will be shorter. The air OFF time is fixed for approx. 30ms. Adjust the air ON time in accordance with using air blowgun or object. Control angle is approx. single rotation of the screw. When tightening at the end of clockwise, it will stop air output, however it is not malfunction.[Pulse/ Continuous Switching Button]Press this button when requiring continuous blow. When pushing this button, air blows continuously. To keep continuous blow, press this button and turn the button 90 degrees. To release from this mode, press this button and turn counter clockwise for pulse blow mode.DimensionsNotes for Usage● Discharge drain from upstream air filter periodically. If periodic drain discharge is difficult, Parker recommends setting up an air filter with automatic drain.● Maintenance compressor periodically. If sludge, which isproduced in compressor oil, enters pneumatic equipment, it will cause operation failure of pneumatic equipment. Coalescing filter removes oil and sludge which cannot be removed by air filter. Parker recommends setting up a coalescing filter.Effect of Pulse BlowIn many factories, air blow accounts for more than 50% of total compressed air consumption. Pulse blow can be a measure forsaving energy by reducing the consumption of compressed air while maintaining the same capability of air blow operation.・Hole machining, tap, chip removing of complex shape work ・Removing stuck dust or viscous liquid ・Blowing at narrow space・Reducing load of compressor ・Energy saving activityPulse blow is especially effective for works listed above, however it is not for all applications. There is a possibility to reduce the removal effectiveness depending on the air blowgun. Parker recommends attaching to an air blowgun that has nozzle diameter bigger than I.D.2mm and low pressure loss. Also, for the case of using reduced pressure for air supply, installing this product without regulator enables a low energy loss circuit, which provides improved blow effectiveness compared to the current circuit.Kuroda Pneumatics Ltd(Parker Hannifin Automation Division Japan)10243 Kamakazu, Asahi city, Chiba 289-2505, JapanE-mail:********************10HzWhen screwing, seal tape may enters the product and cause malfunction.Leave space of 1.5 -2 turnsUse half width seal tape.
