英文中的标点符号和中文的有明显差异。
首先中文逗号在英文中为逗号加上一个空格。
在用英文写作的时候，要有习惯的在逗号之后自动用你的thumb按下空格键。
同样，英文中的句号后面也需要加上空格键。
当然，如果在word上编辑，如果逗号、句号之后不加空格，则会出现如下情况：however,otherwise,therefore，即：在有错误的词汇下出现单行红色波浪线。

一、标点符号的运用
1．引号的用法
(1)用于引用某说话人或作者的话
1)被引用的句子首字母需要大写

分号
(1)两个并列从句之间如果不用连词(and,butor,nor,for,so,yet),则应该用分号
有些起联系作用的副词，如however,therefore,hence,nevertheless, moreover,thus,otherwise,besides等，不应该用作连词来联系并列从句。
在它们之前应该用分号而不是逗号。
若干分句项内已有逗号，可用分号将各项隔开
