航海学院2016年“正青春正能量”主题英语演讲比赛的成功举办进一步丰富了航海学院学生的课余文化生活，提高了学生的英语表达能力，营造了良好的英语学习氛围，培养了学生积极向上的生活、学习态度。
日前，大连海事大学航海学院举办的2016年“拔河比赛”于东山轮滑场圆满结束。
本次拔河比赛旨在积极响应“三走”号召，强健学生体魄，增强学生团队协作能力，丰富学生课余生活，同时也为航海学院拔河队选拔核心队员。
经过初赛、复赛、决赛三个阶段近两个星期的角逐，航海学院2013-2中队和航海学院2015-2中队分别取得航海学院2016年“拔河比赛”团体赛和航海学院2016年“拔河比赛”3V3锦标赛冠军。
最终，共有24位身强体壮的同学通过选拔，进入航海学院拔河队，将代表航海学院征战校运会本次拔河比赛不仅锻炼了学生顽强拼搏、永不言弃的意志品质，同时也加强了各中队学生之间的交流，更为备战学校春季运动会做好了充分的准备。
3月27日，大连海事大学航海学院雷锋志愿服务站在副站长李仕光和桑天胜的带领下，来到了大连和平广场开展“晨光书院爱心义卖活动”。
此次活动以“心相连，爱飞扬”为主题，旨在以自己的微薄力量为自闭症儿童筹集善款。
此次义卖共筹集善款两千余元，所得善款将交由书院院长成女士转交给了需要帮助的家庭。
当天上午十一点，雷锋志愿服务站成员赶到和平广场，与晨光书院负责人简单沟通之后，各个成员就各司其职开始义卖了，有人负责拉条幅、贴海报，有人专门负责记账，有人负责在摊位上向献爱心人士讲解自闭症儿童的情况及故事。
面对每一位光临的爱心人士，同学们友好、耐心地向他们讲解此次义卖的目的及各种商品的来源、价位，甚至会根据爱心人士的需求进行推荐。
这一天，穿梭于人群中的院雷锋志愿服务站成员、奉献爱心的热心人士成了和平广场上的一道靓丽风景线。
副站长李仕光表示，弘扬雷锋精神，争当时代楷模，这是我们义不容辞的责任，雷锋精神永远不会过时，作为新时代的大学生，我们要利用课余时间，积极参与志愿服务，让行动与雷锋精神同在！此次活动，不仅为生活条件贫困的自闭症儿童奉献了爱心，也提高了志愿者的自主管理能力、组织能力和团队合作精神，加深了志愿者对雷锋精神的理解。
轮机自管会召开新学期总结表彰暨动员大会为更好地总结经验、激励轮机自管会新老成员、促进新学期各项工作顺利开展，3月23日晚，大连海事大学轮机自管会在远航楼113教室召开新学期总结表彰暨动员大会。
轮机工程学院指导员张亚培、裴长盛出席了本次会议。
通过本次总结表彰大会，轮机自管会的凝聚力得到进一步加强。
相信轮机自管会能够继往开来，为学院作出更大的成绩。
3月21日，信息科学技术学院组织进行了新学期第一次升国旗仪式，信息科学技术学院党委副书记兼副院长石淼，学生工作部王施宇老师，学院全体指导员以及2013级-2015级全体本科生参加了本次升旗仪式。
石淼代表学院党委向同学们表达了新学期的问候，并就近期学院有关工作计划进行了通报。
他要求同学们要以优秀的同学为榜样，积极参与各项科技赛事，在比赛中不断检验自己、充实自己。
最后石淼希望同学们在新学期里勤奋拼搏、锐意进取，争取更大的进步。
为了增强同学们对本专业课程的了解程度，提前做好学业规划，明确学习目标，大连海事大学交通运输管理学院2015-2中队与2014-2中队协调沟通，2014-2中队选派各专业的优秀学生为2015-2中队的学生们开展了为期一周的学习经验交流活动。
2014-2中队的优秀学生们认真负责，2015-2中队的同学们认真聆听，及时记录。
现场互动积极融洽，气氛热烈。
活动中，王洺硕、李菲等优秀学生代表向大家做了简单的自我介绍，营造了一个亲切熟悉的氛围。
紧接着，他们又从学习、工作以及如何协调二者之间关系分别与大家进行了细致的沟通。
学习方面，他们强调学业目标的确立与人生框架的建立，并围绕着大家的专业培养计划展开了详细的解说，引起了大家强烈的共鸣。
此外，他们还特别介绍了英语四六级的学习方法与备考经验，强调了学习习惯的养成。
工作方面，他们让同学们懂得了要发掘和利用自身的特长优势，找到属于自己的发展方向，学会在工作中锻炼自己全方面的能力。
二者的协调方面，他们则指出要找到一个平衡点，要懂得权衡利弊，学会利用时间。
在提问环节，2014-2中队的优秀学生们很耐心地为大家解答疑问，从自身经历方面谈了许多感受，对大家的成长起到了很好的借鉴和引导作用。
结尾时，他们还向大家留下了自己的联系方式，以便随时解答大家的问题。
结束后，在场的同学纷纷以真挚的掌声感谢他们精彩的发言。
通过这次学习经验交流会，2015-2中队的同学们收获颇丰。
学生们明晰了学习方法，对大学生活也有了更加深刻的认识。
在交流中学习，在学习中成长，在成长中成熟。

为弘扬当代雷锋精神，提高党员积极分子的服务意识，增加社会实践经验，3月19日上午，大连海事大学交通运输管理学院雷锋连参与了由大连义工分会的甘井子义工队组织的包饺子义工活动。
交通运输管理学院雷锋连连长以及干事共17人参与了本次活动，活动前，义工队队长充分肯定了雷锋连同学的志愿服务精神并表示以后继续合作开展义工活动的意向。
活动过程中，雷锋连的党员和积极分子与老人们相处融洽，一起协作包饺子，对团队合作以及服务群众精神有了一定的理解。
活动结束后，队长对党员活动室的同学们此次的志愿服务表示了感谢。
通过此次活动，雷锋连成员通过自身行动传承了尊老爱幼的传统美德，在做义工的过程中也提高了自身的社会责任感。
3月23日下午，大连海事大学交通运输管理学院在瀚海一公寓党员活动室召开新生指导员助理阶段总结交流会。
研究生院副院长孙宏利，交通运输管理学院党委副书记王明亮、团委书记杨玲、新生指导员王红超、邵强及交通运输管理学院的19名指导员助理参加了本次交流会。
交流会上，团委书记杨玲简单介绍了指导员助理们的任职情况。
随后19名指导员助理依次进行了工作述职，详细阐述他们上学期的工作成果，并就在工作中遇到的问题展开热烈讨论。
王明亮对指导员助理们的付出表示肯定，并提出指导员助理们应走进学生宿舍、走进学生课堂，以便更好地了解学生动态，掌握学生情况并及时与指导员沟通。
最后，孙宏利为大家讲述了指导员助理岗位设立的背景和设立以来取得的良好效果，并鼓励大家利用多方面资源积极引导新生。
本次座谈会旨在帮助指导员助理们更好地开展工作，结合各班实际情况，吸取相关经验，在新学期中，继续与新生指导员们一起努力，带领各自的班级一同进步为培养大学生的创新创业精神和实践能力，选拔参加第六届全国大学生电子商务“创新、创意及创业”大赛的作品，4月16日下午，交通运输管理学院在四海楼306教室举办电子商务专业技能等级大赛暨第六届全国大学生电子商务“创新、创意及创业”挑战赛决赛。
本次比赛由轮机学院老师王宝军，交通运输管理学院老师林国顺、翟军、郝胜宇、于卫红担任评委。
本次比赛共有13支队伍参加，采用现场答辩的形式，分为作品展示和评委提问两个环节。
展示环节中，参赛选手们全方位介绍了自己的参赛项目。
随后，评委主要从知识综合运用、创新性、实用价值等方面对参赛作品进行提问，并对不足之处提出改进建议。
本次比赛激发了我校大学生的兴趣与激情，培养了大学生创新意识、创新思维、创业能力以及团队协作精神，展示了我校学子的精神风貌。
以赛促建，以赛促思考，本次比赛也必将促进我校相关专业的发展。
为帮助2016届毕业生认清当前就业形势，树立正确的择业观，建立不惧挫折，求职必胜的信心，大连海事大学交通运输装备与海洋工程学院2012中队于3月15日中午在外语楼311教室召开了学院2016届毕业班主题班会“感谢不平凡的自己”。
班会由装备学院2012中队指导员司馨钿主持，学院2016届毕业生代表共同参加。
经过讨论，学生分别从个人喜好、身体条件、能力水平以及理想目标等四方面进行了小组成果展示。
司馨钿对四组同学的观点予以总结，并邀请90后创业典型大连向度传媒公司总经理李永冰、“辽宁好人·最美大学生”谢明君与同学们交流看法，分享心得。
通过本次主题班会，装备学院2016届毕业生对未来的求职就业更加充满信心，班会在同学们的掌声中圆满结束。
3月28日，英国南安普顿大学张婧博博士访问大连海事大学法学院，为学院研究生和本科生作了“英国法下运输单证与合同第三人权利”（Transport Documents and Third Party's Rights under English Law）的学术讲座。
讲座中，张婧博博士结合近期英国上诉法院的案例“The Erin Schulte”，细致梳理了英国法下从1855年《提单法》到1992年《海上货物运输法》中对提单的流转与运输合同第三人（“合法提单持有人”）权益的维护之间的密切关联，英国法对于“合法提单持有人”的界定和识别经历了一个从简单到细致的发展过程。
此外，她还就在南安普顿大学学习英国法的方法、经验进行了较为详细的介绍和讲解，并热心解答了在场学生的现场提问。
本次讲座促进了我校与南安普顿大学间的学术交流，有利于双方在学生交流、教师互访、学术互动等多个层面进一步开展深入合作。
据悉，张婧博本科毕业于西南政法大学，硕士及博士毕业于南安普顿大学，现于南安普顿大学法学院授课，是南安普顿海商法研究中心成员，英国保险法协会（BILA）的成员，南安普顿法律评论的编辑委员会委员，2013年中国政府杰出海外研究员奖得主，研究兴趣在于国际贸易法、海上货物运输、海上保险、WTO法。
为积极响应团中央“三走”活动号召，践行雷锋精神。
日前，大连海事大学物理系2014中队前往西山水库开展了环保志愿服务活动。
本次活动地点选定在西山水库，物理系2014中队决心用维护环境卫生的实际行动感染周边居民和游客。
全体学生分四个小组开展垃圾清捡活动，并提醒身边游客注意环境卫生。
随后，同学们还在水库周边空旷的平台上开展“眉目传情”、“五人六足”、“放飞梦想”和“让毽球飞”等活动，让本次活动充满了欢笑。
