论简爱独立女性意识摘要: 19 世纪的英国，男权主义仍然占绝对主导，女人是弱者，男人发号施令，女人必须服从，此时萌生了不符社会普遍现象，具有反抗精神和不屈服于命运的女权主义。

最初开始阅读时，我读到简在舅妈家遭受不公平待遇的情节，我感觉简的遭遇是那样的可怜。
她被舅妈嫌弃，被表兄欺负，小小的她住在红房子里的胆战心惊让我揪心。
那种寄人篱下的无奈和忍耐被描写得细致入微，这让我想起了自己小时候在不熟悉的亲戚家那种有些拘束和害怕犯错的感觉，虽然没有简这样的遭遇那么极端，但对于那种不安的情绪还是特别能感同身受。
简在寄宿学校的经历也是让我大为触动的部分。
学校环境的恶劣，老师的严厉，特别是海伦的出现。
海伦面对惩罚和苦难时那种宽容和平静，最初我特别不理解。
我觉得为什么她要这样默默承受呢后来我明白了，这正是一种信仰的力量，她有自己坚定的对尊严和爱的理解，在那种恶劣的环境下，她以自己的方式保留着内心的高贵。

他们在思想的碰撞中相互吸引。

Later, Jane met her cousin that she never met before, St. John who is a typical representative of traditional literati, with religion as his life career, and live to accomplish the mission of god to live. When he need assistant, Jane appears. So an idea strikes to his mind, namely, he wants Jane to stay with his as a helper, and help him to complete the mission of god. When St.John told this idea to Jane, Jane hesitates because of her kindness. Jane is respect St. John, so she did not want to hurt him. But she also cannot marry to him, she did not want such a result because she did not love John. 小说塑造了一位独立自强、原则分明的女性简爱的生动形象。
她外表平凡，身份低微，却内心刚强，具有极强的自尊和反抗的精神，她追求真爱、平等，是备受读者们喜爱和推崇的女性的楷模。
《简爱》采用第一人称的手法，让女主公倾诉自己的情愫，展现出简爱细腻、敏感、自卑的一面，又让读者被她热爱理想、勇于追求爱情的坚强的一面所打动，被简爱的情感变化所驾驭，与她同喜同悲。
简爱从小生活在充满暴力的环境中，她遭到了舅妈毫无人性的虐待，表兄的专横和表姐的冷漠使得简爱体会不到人间的温暖，养成了自卑的性格，但是不公平的生长环境也使得简爱从小向往自由、平等和爱。
勉强从孤儿院中捡回了一条命的简爱，在摆脱了人间炼狱后已长成刚强、能自食其力的女青年，为追求独立的生活，她辞去了孤儿院的教师职位，来到桑菲尔德府当家庭教师。
当她和主人罗切斯特深深相爱，准备结婚时，突然得知主人已有妻子，于是简爱毅然出走，流浪、乞讨。
但爱情的力量驱使简爱重新返回爱人的身边，虽然这时的罗切斯特已是穷困潦倒的残疾人，但是简爱却越加深爱着他，这也是最能打动读者的一点，艰难的境地更能见证爱情的伟大。
简爱自尊、自重、自强、自信，但同时又叛逆、反抗，在阅读小说的过程中，我们的心灵无时无刻不在经受着女主人公那高尚情操的强烈冲击，与简爱一起感悟着美丑善恶，学会做人的准则，找准人生的方向。
本文拟从论文所涉及的方面入手，梳理有关简爱研究的概括，以为论文的写作提供参考。
二、主题部分（阐明有关主题的历史背景、现状和发展方向，以及对这些问题的评述）通过对前人评论的整理与研究，发现对简爱的性格分析大致有以下几种情况：一、简爱的正面性格简爱形象塑造的成功之处就在于它摆脱了以往“灰姑娘”式的女性通过美丽温柔和隐忍而获得幸福和爱情的模式，而是通过女性的个人奋斗和自尊自爱而获得爱情和幸福。
