向学生学习 发表时间：2011-04-14T10:04:43.073Z 来源：《中教版英语周报》2011年第21期供稿作者：周巾君[导读] “学然后知不足，教然后知困，故曰教学相长。”文 / 周巾君 “学然后知不足，教然后知困，故曰教学相长。”新课程改革要求自主、合作、探究的学习方式和强调师生角色的互换恰恰体现了“教学相长”这一理念。本文主要结合笔者多年的教学经历，以笔者的教学反思为依托，以认识建构主义为依据，论述英语教师不断提升自我素质的重要途径——向学生学习。 一、课改背景下英语教师自我发展的需求 我市初中使用的新目标英语吸收了美国人在英语教学上的教育方法和教学理念，与学生的实际生活密切联系，从而使学生对所学知识产生兴趣。大力倡导的“主动学习”课堂教学模式以教师为主导，学生为主体，要求师生密切配合，在和谐、愉快的情景中实现教与学的共同进步，形成新的教学关系。 “主动学习”的课堂教学模式，要求英语教师善于引导、敢于创新，采用灵活多变的教学方式，创建贴近学生生活的教学模式。同时，由于网络的普及，学生获取信息的途径不断丰富，很多知识对于教师和学生而言仅仅是“闻道有先后”。 随着教学手段的不断进步和教材内容的不断变化，对于英语教师而言学科外的知识（如文学、史学、计算机、网络等）同样需要了解、涉猎。 我们可以看出，新课程改革背景下英语教师需要不断地学习，需要将自身的专业发展植根于教学实践。笔者认为，教师最直接的学习对象就是学生，因为他们既是教学实践的对象，也是教学实践成果的反馈者。 二、关于教师向学生学习的方式 教师在教学实践过程中向学生学习主要有三种方式：自主学习、深度学习和多元学习。自主学习是指教师为完成教学任务、为传授知识而进行的自发学习，学习内容以教材、教辅材料、学科知识为主。深度学习是指在课堂教学过程中教师受到学生启示而学到的知识，内容以其他学科知识为主。多元学习是指教师主动向学生学习，学习内容以学科教学法为主。笔者的一则教学反思很好地体现了这三种学习方式。 2009年5月4日 昨晚我认真地把今天的授课内容备了一遍，并且为班上的同学准备了和本课内容相关的练习题目。（自主学习——学科知识）今天上午，班上的刘栩楷同学突然问我“conference minute是什么意思”。可叹自己每个词都认得，却不晓得这个常用短语的意思，我心里觉得很惭愧，同时也深深地感觉到自己的知识面仍需要拓宽。（深度学习——学科知识）我知道刘栩楷同学一向活泼，就问他：“你是在什么地方看到这个短语的？”答：“我是在《二战回忆录》中看到的。”我又问：“你买的书吗？”答：“不是的，我是在网上下载的电子书。有个网站叫奇书网，上面有很多的电子书的。网址是https://www.360docs.net/doc/7010064580.html,”我当时感觉很兴奋，好像一下子开了眼界，马上又问：“不怕电脑中毒吗？”他笑着答：“没事的，我有GHOST备份的。中毒了，5分钟就搞定了！”我觉得特别神奇，接着问：“GHOST是什么？”答：“是一种电脑技术，将你电脑的系统备份到非C盘，电脑中毒或者出了什么问题后，用GHOST工具恢复系统就可以了！”他讲地十分带劲，我也觉得收获很大。（多元学习——其他学科知识）下班回到家后，我就开始了网上搜索，不仅了解了很多新知识，还找到了两本书。一本是关于多媒体课件制作的，图文并茂，正是我的教学所急需的。另一本是中国宇航出版社出版的《实用英语口语句典》，选取了日常生活场景中的典型话题，共分82个场景，对于我的口语教学和Go for it！新教材的使用都很有帮助。（深度学习——学科教学法）以上三种学习方式体现了认知建构主义理念。根据该理论，人类有信息加工、知识建构、智慧生成“三重”智能，这些智能在不同层次上重叠工作，彼此相互嵌套、相互影响。通过三种学习方式教师将师生互动的信息进行加工，在加工过程中将信息重建并生成长期记忆中的程序性知识，即智慧。而正是通过这三种学习方式的交互进行，学科知识、学科教学法、其他学科知识在轻松的师生互动中得以构建，从而推动教师素质的不断提高。 三、新的学习方式可促进教师多重身份的构建 笔者认为向学生学习的过程，有助于教师多重身份的构建。长久以来，传统教学模式下教师一直扮演着“权威”的角色，而学生是被动的接受者。这一点正是新课程要大力改革的地方。对此笔者的深刻体会来自听宜昌市沈璆老师的一堂示范课。 2010年9月30日 今天我在实验中学听了宜昌市沈璆老师的一堂示范课：How was your school trip？感觉收获颇丰。在整个教学过程中，沈老师一直把自己定位成一位刚到荆州、和学生地位平等的旅行者——向学生学习的学习者。通过让学生讲述自己的旅行经历来落实教材的基本知识。同时又把和我们很贴近的话题，如世博、章鱼哥等热门话题拿出来和学生一起分享、学习。整堂课气氛热烈、轻松有趣！ 新课程改革大力倡导师生角色转换，并不是说让学生完全充当教师的角色，而是说教师应该确认自己学习者的身份，要有主动做“学生的学生”的角色意识，师生之间亦师亦友，从而达到良好的教学效果。 自主学习、深度学习、多元学习是教师向学生学习的三种方式。这三种方式在交互进行中促进了教师知识的建构和多重身份的建构，从而不断提升教师的综合素质，使英语教师在新课程改革的背景下、在 Go for it！新教材的使用中，不断成长！作者地址：湖北省沙市一中
