青藏铁路跨越世界屋脊。
修建青藏铁路这条世界上海拔最高和线路最长的高原铁路,是人类铁路建设史上前所未有的伟大壮举。
青藏铁路建设者们在挥汗谱写这部“天路传奇’的同时,也为我们创造了一项又一项世界之最。
The Qinghai-Tibet Railway traverses the "roof of the world." Building the longest railway at the highest elevation in the world was indeed a brilliant feat of engineering unmatched in the history of railway construction. The construction crews built the "sky railroad" by the sweat of their brow, and their accomplishments have created a number of world records.
世界之最一线路最长的高原铁路:青藏铁路是世界上最长的高原铁路,全长1,956公里。
新建成的格尔木至拉萨段的长度为1,142公里,跨越昆仑山和唐古拉山。
青藏铁路全部在海拔3,000米以上,其中海拔高度4,000米的地段有965公里。
最高点为5,072米。
World record 1. The 1,956 kilometer-long Qinghai-Tibet Railway is the world's highest-altitude railroad. The newly completed Golmud-Lhasa section zigzags for 1,142 kilometers across the Kunlun and Tanggula mountain ranges. With the elevation mostly above 3,000 meters, 965 kilometers' tracks
of the railway are laid at more than 4,000 meters above sea level, the highest point being 5,072 meters.
世界之最四最高的高原冻土隧道:风火山隧道位于海拔5,010米的风火山上,全长1,338米,轨面海拔标高4,905米,全部位于永久性高原冻土层内,是目前世界上海拔最高、横跨冻土区最长的高原永久冻土隧道。
World record 4. The 1,338 meter-long Fenghuoshan Tunnel at an elevation of 5,010 meters is the world's most elevated tunnel in permanently frozen earth, the track altitude being at 4,905 meters above sea level.
世界之最五海拔最高的火车站:青藏铁路唐古拉车站地处青藏高原腹地,海拔5,068米,是世界上海拔最高的火车站。
World record 5. The Tanggula Railway Station in the center of the Tibetan plateau is located at 5,068 meters above sea level, claiming to be the highest-altitude railway station in the world.
世界之最六最长的高原冻土铁路桥:在中国最大“无人区”—海拔4,600多米的可可西里国家级自然保护区边缘地带,一条美丽的“彩虹桥”飞架于昆仑雪山下,这就是全长11.7公里的号称青藏铁路第一长桥的清水河特大桥,也是世界上最长的高原冻土铁路桥.大桥各桥墩间的1,300多个桥孔还为藏羚羊等野生动物提供了自由迁徙的通道.

the 11.7-kilometers-long Qingshuihe River Bridge, was built on its edge at the foot of the Kunlun Mountain. The grandest bridge on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, it is the world' s longest highland railway bridge built in frozen land. The
1,300 bridge apertures between the pillars allow free
trotting for Tibetan antelopes and other wild animals.
世界之最七筑路大军高原病零死亡:宵藏铁路格拉段的建设历时4年多。
这期间,先后十几万人上下青藏高原,奋战在被称为“世界第三极”的生命禁区,但是,却没有一例因高原常见病而死亡的事故。
这是青藏铁路建设中,中国人创造的又一个世界之最。
World record 7. During the four yeas of the construction of the Golmud-Lhasa section, more than 100 thousand people worked on the Tibetan plateau, the "world's tertiary" life-forbidden zone. But there had not been a single case of death from plateau diseases. This is another world record set by the Chinese workers.
世界之最八最高的铁路铺架基地:海拔4,704米的青藏铁路铺架基地—安多铺架基地,是世界上海拔最高的铁路铺架基地.西藏境内530
多公里铁路所需的全部轨排和预制桥梁,都由安多铺架基地负责生产。
安多铺架基地气候非常恶劣,但基地工人依然创造了单日铺架8.1公里的高原铺架纪录。
World record 8. The track-laying base at Ando, located at an altitude of 4704 meters, is the highest in the world. It manufactured all the track sections and bridge
prefabrications needed in Tibet, totaling over 530 kilometers. Despite the adverse climatic conditions, the workers there set the record of laying 8.1kilometers of tracks per day.
世界之最九最长的高原冻土隧道:昆仑山高大雄伟,被称为“亚洲脊柱”。
在海拔4,767米的昆仑山口附近,坐落着世界上最长的高原冻土隧道—全长1,686米的昆仑山隧道。
World record 9. The majestic Kunlun Mountain has been dubbed the "Ridge of Asia." The Kunlun Mountain Tunnel, which is 4,767 meters above sea level, is the world's longest plateau tunnel built in frozen earth, running 1,686 meters long.。
