Often people like to take with them a gift for the host* s wife of a party they have been invited to. Again, you may choose something for the host's wife alone or for the entire family.
In police work, you can never predict the next crime or problem. No working day is identical to any other, so there is no (1)"______" day for a police officer.
而没有一天完全相同,也正说明了警察的工作富于变化,由此也可以判断下面的第5个空填variety( I think I can (describe) police word in one word:(5)_______.)。
One day, for example, I was working undercover; that is, I was on the job, but I was wearing (6)____ clothes, not my police (7)______.

【Eg1】Almost every child, on the first day he sets foot in the school building, is smarter,…, better at finding and (37)_________things out, more confident,…【2010-6】【剖析】动词的-ing形式,由前词and可决定。
(37)figuring【Eg2】These methods can be (36)_________ into three types of informational writing: …【2009-12】【剖析】系动词be决定后面的动词应用被动语态。
