初中生英语学习现状调查报告初中生英语学习现状调查报告「篇一」一、调查背景随着我国改革开放的不断深入,社会对外语人才需求更为迫切,具有较强口语交际能力的外语人才较为紧缺,因此提高学生英语口语交际能力是信息时代英语教育的核心。
英语作为一种语言,是人与人之间较为常用交际的工具,学习英语的目的在于用英语进行交际,英语教师应该改变当前英语教学的观念,改革英语教学模式,切实提高学生英语口语运用能力,及口语教学方法、途径、评价模式等。
二、调查目的:长期以来的不少学校英语教学都只注重于课本内容的传授而忽略英语的口语训练。
不少学生及家长都认为英语只要考得好成绩就好了,而口语显得就不怎么重要,以至于在现实生活中形成了只会做题,不重视将英语用于口语表达的现象。
针对这种现状,我就我校七、八、九部分学生的英语口语现状做一次调查,通过调查分析,了解当前中学生英语口语现状,分析其英语口语存在的问题,提出自己的一些合理化建议。

四、调查结果与分析通过谈话交流获得的信息表明:大多数的学生平时很少与同学用英语交流,虽然许多学生都认为口语在英语学习中较重要,认为口语说得好或差不会影响自己的英语成绩。
同时许多学生认为老师上课比较注重讲解知识,没有较多的时间让学生进行口头练习,课堂上学生说的空间和时间不足,活动形式较为单调。
有的英语课成了讲解课,让学生背诵句子和课文等。
80%的学生希望老师能组织学生开展课内外口语交际活动。
希望老师在上课时要安排专门的口语训练,增加师生之间,生生之间的互动、交流活动。
提供学生更多的锻炼口语的机会,让学生锻炼用英语进行交际的胆子和能力。
当然,现在是信息科技时代,因此,除了课堂内外,许多学生也应参加其他途径的口语交际活动等。
五、调查建议(一)教师坚持使用英语教学使用英语教学,强化在课堂上使用英语的比例,是提高英语口语的重要措施之一。

(6)%的学生不敢主动运用英语交流,只有少于%学生不顾忌犯错大胆开口用英语。
(7)对于课外学习,%的学生一点都不学,只有%的学生主动学习英语,但每天学习时间都在30分钟以下。
根据以上数据,可以总结出以下情况:1.职业中学学生英语基础普遍薄弱由于初中英语水平差,许多学生丧失了学习英语的信心。
甚至有些学生连最基本的语法、音标、时态等都不懂。
而另外一部分英语基础较好的学生,由于受到整个英语学习环境的影响,英语的听说读写能力提高缓慢。

由于这种错误的认识,造成学生对英语学习背负了沉重的心理压力,使一部分学生对英语学习失去信心;另一方面,枯燥、繁多的单词、语法、时态变化和跟不上英语教学的进度,使得学生对学习英语产生厌倦情绪,失去信心,继而,放弃了
对英语的学习。
3. 学生对自己目前的学习状况普遍不满,而对学好英语又失去信心
由于学生比较偏重专业学习,而对于非专业的英语科目则不加重视;另一方面,基于基础差和学习时间短的原因,许多学生不会读单词,造成记忆单词困难、听写困难、背、读课文困难、理解课文困难,跟讲课进度一点都合不上拍,找不到学习英语的感觉,对自己学习英语的能力产生了怀疑,失去对英语学习的信心。
4. 传统被动式的灌输英语教学方法抹杀了学生学习英语的兴趣
一成不变的课堂环境,枯燥无味的英语单词、词组,严肃认真的老师,老师
讲、学生听枯燥的英语教学环境,使得学生对英语这门主要靠对话交流的课程失去了交流的环境,变成了一滩死水。
同时听、说、读、写不能有效地结合,从而使学生对英语学习失去了兴趣。
七、综合上述情况我们不难总结出现行高等学校英语教学面临的三大难题:
(1)如何以一种有效的方法提高学生在校内的英语学习兴趣和精神状态,如何激发学生学习英语的自主性。
(2)如何摆正学生的学习心态提高课堂教学对学生的吸引力。
(3)教学质量、教学方法存在一定问题,如何做到因材施教。
八、可采取的对策
1.调查摸底,从基础抓起,夯实英语基础知识
调查摸底,了解学生对英语基础知识的掌握程度。
根据学生对英语基本知识点的掌握程度,有计划地进行英语基础知识的补课,在补课的讲解过程中注意尽可能地让学生夯实音标、语法基础,使学生敢读、敢说,并给予表扬、鼓励和肯定,形成有效的鼓励机制,树立学生对学习英语的信心,使学生在对英语学习上产生积极的心理响应,积极引导和培养学生的学习兴趣。
2.实行趣味英语教学法,培养学生学习英语的兴趣
趣味教学就是以引导学生学习兴趣为
主导,在教学中穿插一些生动的英语故事情节、幽默的英语笑话、国外的风土人情等的内容,使枯燥的英语学习变得生动有活力,逐渐形成浓厚的学习氛围,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。
3. 积极开展英语口语交流活动,树立学生敢说、能说的信心
学习英语,目的在于交流。
在课堂中,应积极开展英语口语交流活动,充分调动学生学习英语的积极性。
例如,英语故事角色表演、英语歌曲欣赏、英语园地、英语论坛、英语电影欣赏等。
让学生在交流中学习英语,从能说会道中树立信心。
4.实行教育心理教学法,培养学生学
习英语的信心
在教学活动过程中,观察学生的学习心理,最大限度地调动学生学习的主动性和积极性,课后帮助学生解除学习压力,了解学生的困难,解决心理问题。
5.运用现代化图文并茂的教学设施,营造宽松的学习环境,注重培养学生学习英语的兴趣
现代化的教学设施为老师授课提供了先进的技术支持,更为改变传统的教学方式提供了必要的物质基础。
