1. Before reading

Read another story about aliens. Pay attention to the timeline.

“Aliens got Jack! “ Jack’s friends told people. “They took him away.”

Jack and his friends were having a party at his garden one night when they saw the light from a UFO shine on Jack. Everyone was so frightened. They ran away as fast as possible except David, Jack’s best friend. He tried to go near Jack but failed. He saw the light pick Jack up into the UFO.

The police came, but no one believed the story. They thought Jack was only lost in the neighborhood and started looking for him. They couldn’t find him, though.

Five days later, a really strange thing happened. David got a phone call from Jack. He was far away in another place. When David arrived there and saw Jack, he was in a terrible situation.

Jack’s experience was too unusual, but people wouldn’t take him seriously. They always said, “You’re kidding.”“Y ou must be crazy.”“You just want to be famous.”
