英语听力提升方法
听说读写是学习英语的四大要素,如果听力不好,你掌握的词汇量再大,语法再精通,也无法有效地跟别人进行英语沟通交流,英语听力训练主要有如下几种方法:
1、学好音标,练好发音
所谓听力,无非是听单词、听句子或是听短文,听懂单词是基础,而要听懂单词,掌握这一单词的发音便是关键。英语里26个字母46个发音,有元音,有辅音,对我们来说,训练听力,首先要把音标掌握透彻,至于音标的学习方法网上都有,可以跟着视频一起学。有不少英语单词读音相近,但意思却截然不同,我们从一开始就要注意区分和模仿正确的语音和语调,不断改进发音,才能取得快速进步。
2、加强诵读,营造语境
英语听力不是光听、学音标或是背单词就可以提高的,这些只是基础。听与说是不能分的,一个人听的过程实际是另一个人说的过程。要想快速提高听力水平,一定要自己开口说,多朗读一些英语短文,如果能够每天坚持背诵一篇提升会更快。
3、多听原文,对标找差
通过阅读以及英语口语对话,给自己创造英语交流的语言环境。比如,我们可以多听英文广播,把英语课文、VOA以及BBC对话和英语短文用手机下载下来反复听,听后自己再反复阅读,可以把自己读的用手机录制下来,然后进行比对,分析自己在哪方面存在欠缺,不断地找差距进行完善。在实际的语言环境中练习,才能取得长足的进步。
4、勤于练习,坚持训练
语言是一种习惯,没有反复的操练和实践难以产生熟练的技巧。
英语听力水平的提高也不是一蹴而就的,必须反复练习,坚持训练,才能做到轻车熟路。每天可以做一个小练习,听一篇英文短文或VOA 英语,然后把听到的文章复述出来,多听几遍,直到完全掌握为止。
5、重复练习,确保应会必会
对于每一个听力材料,我们都要学习彻底,不放过提升的机会,在遇到有我们不会的发音或是听不清楚的连音时,一定要把那段话给记录下来,下次自己也要按照这样的读法来读,从而不断提升听力能力。
6、精选材料,实事求是
在初学英语时,不能好高骛远,要从简单入门开始,逐渐增加难度,听力材料也有如此的梯度。比如说《英语900句》,里面涉及到常见的900个基本句型和3600个常用句型,是比较适合初学者的听力学习材料,又比如《走遍美国》,这里面涉及到很多英语本土的表达,比较地道,可以用于给自己提高使用。
7、扩大听的广度,培养语感
练习听力,有目的、有针对性地练习是一个方面,同时还要通过泛听,来拓宽自己的英语视野,能够使自己涉猎到方方面面的知识,泛听的目的有二,一是帮助练习者迅速捕捉听力材料大意;二是帮助熟悉英语发音的语音和语调。
8、模仿原文录音,纠正错误
每天坚持听2-3篇听力原文,要求自己模仿原文的发音和语调再把听力材料读出来,直到模仿到语音、语调分毫不差,这是模仿追求的目标,通过模仿,可以不断纠正自己的语音、语调。
9、听写并举,强化练习
有时候听力需要我们把听到的材料写出来,这对我们又提高了要求,就不仅仅停留于理解和掌握大意上,这时候可以采用四遍听写法,
第一遍听文章整体,并适当做标记,分段落;第二遍还原每句话大概;第三遍把句中的每个单词写出来;第四遍再听原文进行比对,看自己还有哪些地方遗漏或错误。
10、加强总结,吃透规律
每次听力练习之后,都需要我们及时总结听力规律,要从每一次的材料中树立对英文单词的“听觉回路”,要总结和整理那些需要连读、不读等变音的地方,同时要注意重读和语调,因为不一样的语调和重读、轻读都代表着不同的含义,一次听力材料里包含的表达和单词也应该吃透,以促进下次听力。
