学习是一种体验,是学生的自尊需要不断满足的过程,因此教师需要充分了解学习者的需求,教学应该是为学生创造各种各样的学习机会,不断提高课堂教学质量,实现学生主体性的生成,使学生得到真正意义上的发展。
高中英语课堂Presentation就是适用于这一实践创新的语言学习活动,高中英语课堂中的Presentation是指在课堂上由学生借助有声语言、肢体语言和其他辅助工具就某一话题进行演说或展示并向其他同学提问和解答的一种课堂教学活动(程洁,2011)。
这一活动包括以下一些环节:确定话题、查找资料、制作PPT、口头报告、师生评价等,一般分为两种形式:个人展示和小组展示,前者侧重个人的独立性,给个人发展以充分的锻炼机会,而后者则侧重团队合作学习(竹旭锋,2007)。
精彩的课堂展示与学生的知识积累、自信程度及输出技巧密切相关。
教材只是一个弹性的框架,只能提供一种线索,不可能提供教学全部的内容(吴宗杰,2005)。
课堂展示过程中学生所接触、了解和呈现的资源是教材很好的补充和延伸,通过课堂内外的探索型实践,课堂展示能成为高中学生英语学习的有效手段,在高中英语学习的不同阶段对课堂展示活动的灵活应用能促进学生知识技能的拓展,巩固和提高学生的语言综合运用能力。
二、理论依据杜威是美国20世纪很有影响的教育家,他提出,教育本身是一种体验(experience),学校应该为学生创设各种各样的体验。
孔子带着学生出去体验,触景生情,师生一起对话,智慧就出来了(吴宗杰,2005)。
学生提出问题,孔子解释,这里学生的主动探索起了很重要的作用,这就是知识,这就是教育。
Allwright经过课堂的实证研究后发现学生并不是或不完全是学教师所教的内容,学生按照内在大纲利用教师提供的交际情景发展语言,而且这种发展过程经常是不可预测和偶发的。

2 Presentation理论依据2.1 任务型语言教学程晓堂指出,任务型语言教学是一种基于任务或以任务为基础的语言教学途径,通过完成任务来学习语言,强调学习活动和学习材料的真实性,学习活动以表达意义为主,强调以学生为中心,鼓励学生创造性地使用语言和课堂教学活动之间的联系。
Presentation在教学上的运用基本满足任务型语言教学。
学生在收到教师布置的任务或是自己根据兴趣导向确定话题后,通过杂志、报纸、网络及其他各种媒体搜集、分析、归纳、整理信息,并提出自己的观点,最终使口头表达与书面资料、多媒体相结合,达到学生创造性使用语言的目的。

近年来,Presentation,作为自主发展教学模式的有效方式之一,得到了广泛的应用和众多研究人员的关注。
Presentation多翻译为阐述、讲解、介绍、展示,在课堂教学中是指学生从所学专业中选择自己感兴趣的题材为切入点,广泛阅读、收集、整理、分析各类外文资料,提炼自己的观点和学习心得,通过应用语言表达、非语言表达、实物展示、角色扮演等当众做课堂演示。

二、教师的角色和作用早在20世纪80年代,学者Holec(1981)就提出了自主学习(Iearner autonomy)的观点,Holec认为自主学习是学习者自我负责管理语言学习的能力,就是能够决定学习目标,确定学习内容和进展,选择学习方法和技巧,监控习得过程及自我评估学习效果。

它是指借助有声语言、肢体语言和其他工具发表一个介绍或描述某事物的演说或展示。
外语课堂教学中的presentation指的是学生在既定或自由选择的话题基础上,借助网络和计算机等多媒体工具,制作成PPT或者采取口头陈述,进而采取课堂上演示的一种教学活动方式。
二、Presentation的理论依据Presentation这一教学形式的理论依据来源于建构主义理论,以及该教学理论影响下的发现学习、自主学习、合作学习等。
1.建构主义教学理论。
建构主义是认知学习理论的一个重要分支,其认为学生是信息加工的主体、意义的主动建构者,而不是外部刺激的被动接受者和被灌输的对象。
教师在整个教学过程中起指导者、组织者、帮助者和促进者的作用,利用情景、协作、会话等学习环境要素充分发挥学生的主动性,实现学生对学习的自我评价和对学习行为的自我调节,最终达到对所学知识意义建构的目的。
2.发现学习。
布鲁纳认为,学习知识的最佳方式是发现学习。
所谓发现学习是指学生利用材或教师提供的条件自己独立思考,自行发现知识,掌握原理和规律。
Presentation的前期准备需要学生围绕题目收集资料,并且对收集到的信息进行分析、整合,这些都拓展了学生独立思考的空间。
3.自主学习。
建构主义认为教师在整个教学过程中起指导者、组织者、帮助者和促进者的作用,学习者要对自己正在进行的学习活动进行积极、主动、自觉的计划、监控、评价和调整。
