焊接符号的识别
什么是焊接符号
焊接符号是一种工程语言,能简单、明了地在图纸上说明焊缝的形状、几何尺寸和焊接方法。
我国的焊接符号是由国家标准GB324规定的。
焊接符号有什么用
焊接符号是把在图样上用技术制图方法所表示的焊缝的基本形式和尺寸采用一些符号来表示的方法。
焊接符号可以表示出:
(1)所焊焊缝的位置。
(2)焊缝横截面形状(坡口形状)及坡口尺寸。
(3)焊缝表面形状特征。
(4)表示焊缝某些特征或其他要求。
焊缝的基本符号
焊缝基本符号是表示焊缝截面形状的符号,它采用近似于焊缝横剖面形状的符号来表示。
GB324-1988中规定了13种焊缝形式的符号,见表1-1。

辅助符号表示焊缝表面形状特征的符号,见表1-2。
不需要确切地说明焊缝的表面形状时,可以不用辅助符号。

PROCEDURE FOR IDENTIFICATION OFWELDER AND WELDING OPERATORWELDER AND WELDING OPERATORThis procedure is supplemental to QC Manual for welding control. It provides welder and welding operator with an identifying method for weld that he has made.1. Each qualified welder and welding operator shall be assigned a unique identifying mark on the "Welder Performance Qualification Record" by the Chief of Welding Lab. The Chief of Welding Lab. shall issue each qualified welder and welding operator with a die-stamp in accordance with the unique identifying mark mentioned above.2. Numbering for assigned identifying mark is as follows:2.1 Welder: from W 01 up to W 49.2.2 Welding Operator: from W 50 up to W 99.3. The letters and figures of die-stamp shall be at least 5/16 in. (8 mm) high. And the character of marking shall be indented down by 0.01~0.02 in. (0.3~0.5 mm).4. The examiner shall fill the welder's identifying number on "Welding Record" before shift is over when a welder, including welding operator hereinafter, makes welding. And the welder shall stamp his identifying mark immediately after finishing a weld except for exemptions in para 6.5. When several welders have made a weld cooperatively, each of them shall stamp or make out his identifying mark individually. The first identifying mark shall be made in accordance with the provisions as mentioned above, and the next identifying mark shall follow the previous one(see Fig.1).6. When die-stamping is not applicable, the following method shall be used in lieu of stamping:6.1 As for the welds made on a vessel with wall thickness less than 1/4 in. (6 mm) for steel material and less than 1/2 in.(13mm) for nonferrous material and ferrite steels with tensile properties enhanced by heat treatment, and with an outside diameter less than 2 in. (51 mm) for the pipe, the welder shall make out his identifying mark clearly with marking pen or paint. When such welds bearing pressure or they are jointed with pressure boundary parts, the examiner shall record the welder's identifying mark on "Welding Record" when the welder has finished the welds.6.2 As for tack welds that will become part of the final pressure weld, the examiner shall record the welder's identifying mark on "Welding Record" when the welder has finished the tack welding.6.3 In case of multiple numbers of welds on a part, such as tube to tube sheet welds, where the largest area for marking is less then 6 in. (150 mm) in any direction, the welder shall record his identifying mark on "Welder Mark Detail" after finishing the weld.7. The provision for stamping on test plate of Welder Performance and Welding Procedure.7.1 Welder shall stamp identifying mark on the test plate immediately after completing the test plate welding.7.2 The identifying mark shall be stamped on both faces of the plate, and shall be 2 in. (50 mm) away from the fusion zone. The location of stamping shall be perpendicular to the weld done(see Fig.2).8. The provision for stamping on production weld.8.1 For circumferential weld (see Fig. 3)The mark shall be stamped along the weld and shall be away from the fusion zone about 2 in. (50 mm). And it shall be away from the longitudinal weld about 8 in.(200mm). The interval of two marks shall be less than 3 ft (914 mm) and all the intervals shall be made uniformly in length. 8.2 For longitudinal weld (see Fig. 3)The identifying mark shall be stamped along the weld and shall be away from the fusion zone about 2 in. (50 mm). And two identifying marks shall be stamped separately on two locations at a distance from two ends of weld about 8 in (200 mm).Each interval of two adjacent marks shall be about the same length and shall be less than 3ft(914 mm).8.3 For welded head (see Fig.4)The identifying mark shall be stamped on both the concave face and convex face, and shall be parallel to the weld. The location of stamping shall be kept away from the skirt and knuckle of the head and shall be away from the fusion zone about 2 in (50 mm). When the welding seam isoffset from the centerline of head, the mark shall be stamped on the side adjacent to the centerline of the head. Each interval of two markings shall not be more than 3 ft (914 mm) in length.8.4 For nozzle and flange (see Fig. 5)8.4.1For longitudinal weld of nozzle, the location of stamping shall be in the middle of the weld and shall be away from the fusion zone about 2 in (50 mm).One (1) identifying mark will be enough for each weld.8.4.2 For weld used in conjunction between nozzle and flange the location of stamping shall be parallel to the weld and away from the fusion zone about 2 in. (50 mm). Each interval of two adjacent marks shall be about the same length and shall be less than 3 ft (914 mm).8.5 For nozzle and shell (see Fig. 6)For weld used in conjunction between nozzle and shell, the location of stamping shall be away from the fusion zone about 2 in.
