First Conditional
What is a conditional sentence and why do we use them? A conditional sentence is formed by two clauses: action, reaction. We use them to indicate that we someone will do something if something happens first.

I take my umbrella
If it rains, I will take my umbrella

How many types of conditional sentences are there? There are many types of conditional, but we are going to study four: zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional and third conditional

When do we use the first conditional? We use the first conditional when we are completely sure that the reaction is going to happen. In other words, if it rains I will take the umbrella, because I don’t want to get wet.
