• Laozi (老子; pinyin: Lǎozǐ;) was a philosopher of China around 6th century B.C. and is a central figure in Taoism.
• Laozi literally means "Old Master" and is generally considered an honorific.

Spring Festival
The Spring Festival falls on the 1st day of the 1st lunar month, often one month later than the Gregorian calendar. It originated in the Shang Dynasty (c. 1600 BC-c. 1100 BC) from the people's sacrifice to gods and ancestors at the end of an old year and the beginning of a new one.

For the people in Western country , time is the money. These are some saying about time. Time and tide wait for no man. 时不待人 Don’t trifle away your time.(莫虚度光阴) Time flies.(光阴似箭) Money lost , little lost; time lost, everything lost.(失去金钱,损失很少;失去 时间,失去一切。)
Strictly speaking, the Spring Festival starts every year in the early days of the 12th lunar month and will last till the mid 1st lunar month of the next year. Of them, the most important days are Spring Festival Eve and the first three days. The Chinese government now stipulates people have seven days off for the Chinese Lunar New Year.
Then people begin decorating their clean rooms featuring an atmosphere of rejoicing and festivity. All the door panels will be pasted with Spring Festival couplets, highlighting Chinese calligraphy with black characters on red paper. The content varies from house owners' wishes for a bright future to good luck for the New Year. Also, pictures of the god of doors and wealth will be posted on front doors to ward off evil spirits and welcome peace and abundance.

Wu wei (无为; pinyin: wúwéi) is a central concept in Taoism. The literal meaning of wu wei is "without action". It is often expressed by the paradox wei wu wei, meaning "action without action" or "effortless doing".
Golden mean (philosophy): the felicitous middle between the extremes of excess and deficiency “ Rid the two ends, take the miห้องสมุดไป่ตู้dle one.”
Relationships are central to Confucianism. Particular duties arise from one's special situation in relation to others.
