Why do you want to take part in this project?

Well, as we know, CSC is short for China Scholarship Council and this council provides Chinese students an opportunity to study abroad for free. My family is not very rich and my parents cannot afford the high tuition for me to study abroad, but studying abroad is my dream, so I suppose only through CSC that I can achieve my dream easily.

If I can get a chance to study in a foreign country, I will be able to learn lots of subjects not offered here in my school. By discussing politics with foreign students, I can learn the foreign culture well, which can broaden my horizon. What’s more, you know, in some developed countries, the facilities in the laboratory are more advanced and learning these advanced facilities is helpful to my further study and I hope that I can get a doctor’s degree in the future. By the way, learning in an English speaking country is beneficial to my English, especially to my spoken English. In China, having a good command of spoken English makes it easy for me to find a good job. To achieve my dream of studying abroad, I didn’t go home in the summer vacation and I just stayed in our school to prepare for the IE lTS test. In this September, I went to Ocean university of China to take part in the IELTS test. Luckily, I passed the test with the score of 6.5. and I can’t forget the hard days that I prepare for the test. Every morning I got up early and went straight to the classroom. No one

talked with me in English so I talked to the blackboard to improve my spoken English. But I think all my hard work pays off and I believe that I will achieve my dream one day. Thank you.
