四、教学过程Step 1 Leading in1. Draw a rough map of Asia on the board, or bring in a map to put up. Shaw a globe and get several students to point out the positions of each continent and ocean.2. Ask students what places they have been to. Ask them whether they have been to the following places. If they have visited the place, ask them to raise their hands.Who has been to Thailand/Korea/Malaysia/Singapore/Indonesia or Japan?If most of the students have not been to, you can ask them: “What country wouldyou like to visit, Thailand/Korea/Malaysia/Singapore/Indonesia or Japan?”3. As students raise their hands, ask them to come to the front of the class and point to the place on the map. They could mark the place with a pen and label it, or stick a pin in the map.4. 1.Explain the context of Part A. Simon is dreaming about going into space.
2.Ask students to read through the text .Then ask them to complete the sentences using the grammar items learnt in the unit.
Step 3:Revision
Revise the vocabulary in the unit.
Step4:Exercise
1.Tell the students that in Part B they have to rearrange the letters to form words.
2.Ask the students to unscramble as many words as they can without looking at the previous pages. When they have done as much as they can ,ask them to refer to the Vocabulary section on page 8 for extra help.
3. Ask students to volunteer answers.
Ask another student to write the words on the board as they are read out. Students then write their scores in the paw.
