Module 6 Unit 1 These snakes are short.一、教材分析小学《新标准英语》每一模块都以故事为线索,比较适合小学生的生理、心理特点。

本课涉及到的故事是两个女孩到动物园参观,看到几种动物并进行描述的故事,有一定的可操作性和情境设置性。

二、教学目标1、知识技能目标(1)在课件帮助下和教师的讲述中能初步整体感知故事大意。

(2)在理解课文大意的基础上学习如何描述动物。

(3)能够理解:snake、short、small、elephant、go、zoo、long、giraffe、tall、tiger。

(4)能够初步运用:short、small、long、tall2、能力目标(1)能够听、说、读出所学习的词汇。

(2)能够用形容词描述动物的特征。

3、情感态度目标通过学习讨论动物,培养学生爱护动物的意识。

三、学情分析一年级学生接触了一个多学期的英语,有一定的英语基础,且学习积极性较高,但是注意力集中的时间短而且语言运用能力不强。

因此要注意培养学生的学习积极性,同时还要培养学生用英语思维的能力。
