In the 2014 IELTS exam, the writing task for Academic module required candidates to write a report based on a given graph, chart, or table. This type of task assesses the candidate's ability to interpret and present data in a clear and coherent manner. The candidate is expected to provide an overview of the main trends and make comparisons where relevant. One of the common challenges that candidates face in this task is the ability to effectively analyze and interpret the data presented in the visual aid. This requires a good understanding of the specific vocabulary related to describing trends, making comparisons, and presenting data. Additionally, candidates need to be able to organize their report in a logical and coherent manner, with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. Another challenge that candidates may encounter is the ability to meet the word count requirement while maintaining the quality and coherence of their report. It can be difficult to expand on the given data and provide a thorough analysis without repeating information or including irrelevant details. Candidates need to be able to express their ideas clearly and concisely, while also providing enough detail to support their analysis. Furthermore, candidates may struggle with time management during the exam, as they only have 20 minutes to complete this task. This requires them to quickly analyze the visual aid, identify the main trends, and organize their report in a structured and coherent manner. Time management is crucial in ensuring that candidates can fully address the task requirements and present a well-developed report within the given time frame. In addition to these challenges, candidates may also face difficulties in effectively incorporating emotional elements into their response, as required by the task prompt. This may involve expressing opinions or reactions to the data presented, which can be challenging for some candidates, especially those who are more accustomed to academic or technical writing styles. Overall, the writing task in the 2014 IELTS exam presented several challenges for candidates, including the ability to effectively analyze and interpret data, meet the word count requirement, manage time efficiently, and incorporate emotional elements into their response. Candidates need to be well-prepared and familiar with the specific requirements ofthis task in order to successfully address these challenges and perform well in the exam.。

2014-07-10The diagrams below show the way in which sand dunes* are formed.范文:The flow chart shows the dynamic process of sand dune formation in deserts or on coasts. It involves the interaction between wind and sand.In dry deserts or on coasts, there are scattered patches of wet sand where sand dune is grounded on. Wind consistently blows from one direction, accumulating dry loose sand particles on wet sand where relatively higher friction of the land prevents sand moving. But with stronger wind forces, the mobility of sand increases. While the dry sand continue to pile up, some of them move downwind until they reach another wet piece of ground.Even with the force of gentle breeze, sand piles on wet land can keep dry grains settle down and hence grow in to dunes. On the lee side, a dune can extend out of the wet ground a few feet due to the shelter of the dune.Due to the direction and speed of winds as well as the area of wet grounds, dunes are formed in diverse shapes and sizes.

I am programmed to respond to your requirements in a human-like manner. Iwill do my best to fulfill the given criteria and provide a well-rounded response to the prompt. The problem at hand is the increasing prevalence of plastic pollution in our oceans. This issue has garnered widespread attention in recent years, as the detrimental effects of plastic waste on marine life and ecosystems have become more apparent. From plastic bags to microplastics, the sheer volume of plastic entering our oceans each year is staggering, and the consequences are dire. From an environmental perspective, the impact of plastic pollution on marine life is devastating. Countless sea creatures, from turtles to seabirds, arefalling victim to plastic ingestion and entanglement. The sight of a sea turtle with a plastic straw lodged in its nostril or a seabird with a stomach full of plastic debris is heart-wrenching. These images serve as a stark reminder of the urgent need to address the issue of plastic pollution.Furthermore, the long-term ecological consequences of plastic pollution are cause for alarm. As plastic debris breaks down into smaller fragments, it infiltrates every level of the marine food chain. From zooplankton to apex predators, marine organisms are inadvertently consuming microplastics, which may have far-reaching implications for the health of marine ecosystems. The potential consequences of this bioaccumulation are still not fully understood, but the implications are concerning. In addition to the environmental impact, there are also economic and social ramifications of plastic pollution. Coastal communities that rely on marine resources for their livelihoods are directly affected by the degradation of marine ecosystems caused by plastic pollution. Furthermore, the economic costs of cleaning up plastic waste and mitigating its effects are substantial. This placesa burden on local and national governments, as well as international organizations, to allocate resources towards addressing this issue. From a global perspective, the issue of plastic pollution is complex and multifaceted. It requires a coordinated effort from all sectors of society, including government, industry, and civil society, to effectively address the root causes of plastic pollution and implement sustainable solutions. This may involve policy changes, technological innovations, and shifts in consumer behavior. On an individual level, there are steps that each of us can take to reduce our plastic footprint and contribute to the solution. This may include minimizing the use of single-use plastics, supporting initiatives to clean up plastic waste from our oceans, and advocating for policies that promote a circular economy and sustainable waste management practices. In conclusion, the problem of plastic pollution in our oceans is a pressing issue that demands immediate attention and concerted action. The environmental, economic, and social implications of plastic pollution are far-reaching, and the need for sustainable solutions is more urgent than ever. By addressing this issue at multiple levels, from individual actions to global cooperation, we can work towards a future where our oceans are free from the scourge of plastic pollution.。

⽐如孩⼦⽐较好奇(curious),缺乏⾃控能⼒(self-control),缺乏判断能⼒(make the right judgment),容易受到⼴告的影响。

雅思2014作⽂范⽂,希望能帮到⼤家! 2014雅思作⽂范⽂ This debate reminds me a story,a group of Chinese students visited America, during the process of communication activity,American students invited Chinese peers to play musical instrument together, yet, what a pity is that almost nobody is well-versed in art performance .Virtually, many educators and parents have been pondering, for years, the connotation of perfect education. As I see it,only imparting career-oriented knowledge leaves much to be desired, therefore, it is of necessity to include painting and drawings as compulsory part of high school curriculum. I first turn to the chief aim of education to justify my viewpoint. An ideal education should entail helping youngsters realize comprehensive development and cultivating their manifold talents. Academic education is important,however,art-related courses are equally indispensable because the popularity of art courses could,to large extent, mould one’s temperament, enhance one’s art accomplishment, instill confidence into one’s heart. Also,a number of students are now over-burdened with exam-oriented and exercise-stuffededucation,they,sometimes,feel fed up with school life, thereby, studying art course can be considered as an effective stress-reducer, which helps students to brave academic challenges energetically. Last, knowledge is not a burden, a man of many parts should never confine himself to job-related knowledge. Instead, one is expected to become more versatile via developing various capabilities. Some others might take a skeptical attitude towards my stand. Those who believe that it is probably a hasty decision to introduce pairings or drawings to the curriculum of school education might argue that this practice is more likely to interfere with students' study of main courses and occupy a lot of precious time. Meanwhile, some people might contend that art-related courses bear little relevance to one’s future job-seeking. What I want to refute, however,is that this utilitarian mentality will inevitably hinder one’s all-round development and deprive students of enjoyment brought about by art learning. To conclude, the introduction of art-related courses into high school education enjoys glaring merits to tap the students' many capabilities, hence, I re-affirm my conviction that it is advisable and feasible to encourage those who in the formative years to acquire paintings and drawings. 1. What do you think are the reasons for this? Do the advantage of this outweigh the disadvantage?(年轻⼈频繁换⼯作的原因及利弊分析)2014年4⽉5⽇⼯作⽣活类People nowadays change careers and places of residence very often. 下⾯是Amy原创范⽂,欢迎越来越多的烤鸭和不管何种⽬的现在正在学英语途中的朋友加⼊到我们的交流群(群号:100018046-Amy's Writing Workshop)Sample Answer By AmyNowadays it is common that people change their jobs after several years' service to the same company. The reasons are multiple and generally I believe it is a positive trend. It is easy to understand why so many people choose new jobs at certain phase of their career life. First, in this information era when everything is changing rapidly, people are obliged to adjust to the new situations they are in and hence change is inevitable. For example, due to the advanced development of Internet and popularity of online media many journalists who used to work for traditional news agencies divert their attention to digital media or other trade related to Internet and therefore radically changed their way of working. Second, young people who settle their first job without too much thinking will later gradually find their real interest. Once they discover where their passion lies in, they will focus on the new career without hesitation. Often they will find themselves in a better condition, for instance, gaining a more attractive paycheck and working in a more comfortable and productive environment, if they get a clear perspective of themselves earlier.Although it is unavoidable for people to quit their previously unchallenging jobs in order to get a more suitable one at certain moments of their life, too many job hopping experiences are not encouraged by employers. To begin with, one who changes his job frequently is often deemed as unreliable in recruiters' eyes. On the contrary, those who stick to their trade for years often accumulate rich work experience and win more opportunities for promotion. Besides, sometimes changing one's job means moving to a new place, which can be costly. Making new friends and networking may also be challenging and time-consuming.In conclusion, as people are groping their way to position themselves correctly during their lifetime, it is understandable that they change their careers through trial and error. However, one must be very prudent before they make a major life decision like switching to a new career and too frequent changes should be avoided.
