首先谈谈英语翻译,它包括英译汉和汉译英。
翻译也有其一些技巧。

一，搞清句子成分。
1、主语：就是一个句子陈述的对象，或是动作的执行者。
它回答的是“谁”“什么”的问题。
2、谓语：说明主语是什么，干什么，怎么样。
它回答的是主语“干什么，是什么”的问题。
3、宾语。
指谓语动词所涉及的对象，由名、代、数，宾语从句等相当于名词的词句充当，但人称代词要用宾格。
4、表语。
是和系动词紧密相连的。
在陈述句中系动词后面的就是表语，这就是“主系表”结构。
作表语的也是名词性的词，也可以是从句。
5、定语：修饰限定名字、代词的词，说明所修饰词的性质、特征等。
可作定语的有形容词、名词、副词、定语从句、分词等。
6、状语：修饰动词、副词、形容词甚至整句，说明谓语动作发生的时间、地点、方式、伴随状况、目的等等。
7、补语：补充说明主语或宾语的成份,补充说明主语的叫主语补足语，补充宾语叫宾语补足语。
补语和它补充说明的成份之间有逻辑上的主谓关系，这可以把它和其它成份区分开。

下面我们就一起再来回顾一下简单句的五种基本句型吧！简单句的五种基本句型包括：a. 主语+连系动词+表语(S+ Link-V+P)此句型中的谓语动词为连系动词，作表语成分的有形容词、名词、代词、分词、不定式介词短语等。
常见的系动词有be, feel, taste, smell, sound,seem, look(看起来)，get(变)，become(变),turn(变)等。
本句型的特点是"连系动词+表语"二者缺一不可。
例如"The teacher angry"和"We in the classroom." She sixteen.都不成其为一个句子。
汉语中形容词、介词短语、数词都可以用作谓语，但是英语中它们不能单独作谓语，它们前面必须加上一个系动词才能构成谓语。
b.主语+不及物动词(S+V)在此句型中，谓语动词是不及物动词，其后没有宾语。
因为此句型中的动词表达的意思已经很明确，所以不需要跟宾语。
有时为了表示动作发生的频率、程度、原因、结果、目的、场所、时间等，可以带状语修饰动词。
主语和不及物动词(短语)是组成本句型不可缺少的必要成分。
在实际运用中,不及物动词往往与副词、介词及其它相关成分有相对稳定的搭配关系。
c. 主语+及物动词+宾语(S+V+O)该句型中的谓语动词是及物动词，其后必须跟宾语才能使句意表达完整、准确。
宾语可以由名词、代词或相当于名词的词或短语充当,如动词的-ing形式、动词不定式或从句等.注：不及物动词与介词连用时，其后也可跟宾语。
主语和及物动词及其宾语是本句型的主干,至于及物动词,则既可以是单个的及物动词,也可以是短语动词。
d.主语+及物动词+间接宾语+直接宾语(S+V+IO+DO)英语中有些及物动词能跟双宾语,即间接宾语(指人) 和直接宾语(指物) 。
通常情况下间接宾语在前，直接宾语在后。
能跟双宾语的动词常见的有：ask, bring, take, buy, cost, fetch, give, hand, pass, lend, offer, pay, read, save, send, show, teach, te ll, write等。
有时也可把间接宾语置于直接宾语后，此时间接宾语前需加介词for或to。
注意lend 和borrow 的区别。
相对于主语而言，“借入”用borrow sth from sb. 相对于主语而言，“借出”用lend sb sth/ lend sth to sb.另外注意take 和bring的区别是针对说话人而言，“拿离说话人”，用take, “拿向说话人”用bring.e. 主语+及物动词+宾语+宾语补足语(S+V+O+C)英语中,有些及物动词除能跟宾语外,有时还须加一个补足语,句意才能完整。
宾语补足语的作用是说明宾语的动作或状态。
作宾语补足语的主要是名词、形容词、动词不定式和分词,副词和介词短语等也可以用作宾语补足语。
本句型中的"宾语 + 宾语补足语",也可称之为复合宾语。
宾语和宾语补足语之间有着逻辑上的主谓关系,因此,逻辑上的主谓关系乃是本句型的特点,它不同于第四基本句型中的"间接宾语 + 直接宾语","间接宾语 + 直接宾语"之间并无逻辑上的主谓关系。
掌握了基本的五种句型就基本掌握了翻译的基本架构。
接下来是考虑如何翻译的问题了。
中我一些翻译技巧举足轻重。
下面介绍一些我们常用的翻译方法：有增译法、省译法、转换法、拆句法、合并法、正译法、反译法、倒置法、包孕法、插入法、重组法和综合法等。
增译法指根据英汉两种语言不同的思维方式、语言习惯和表达方式，在翻译时增添一些词、短句或句子，以便更准确地表达出原文所包含的意义。
汉语无主句较多，而英语句子一般都要有主语。
英语中代词使用频率较高，因此，在汉译英时需要增补物主代词，而在英译汉时又需要根据情况适当地删减。
在汉译英时常常需要增补连词。
英语句子离不开介词和冠词。
总之，通过增译，一是保证译文语法结构的完整，二是保证译文意思的明确。
如：(1) What about calling him right away?马上给他打个电话，你觉得如何？(增译主语和谓语)(2)这是我们两国人民的又一个共同点。
This is yet another common point between the people of our two countries.(增译介词)省译法这是与增译法相对应的一种翻译方法，即删去不符合目标语思维习惯、语言习惯和表达方式的词，以避免译文累赘。
如：1) You will be staying in this hotel during your visit in Beijing.你在北京访问期间就住在这家饭店里。
(省译物主代词)(2)中国政府历来重视环境保护工作。
The Chinese government has always attached great importance to environmental protection. (省译名词)转换法指翻译过程中为了使译文符合目标语的表述方式、方法和习惯而对原句中的词类、句型和语态等进行转换。
具体的说，就是在词性方面，把名词转换为代词、形容词、动词；把动词转换成名词、形容词、副词、介词；把形容词转换成副词和短语。
在句子成分方面，把主语变成状语、定语、宾语、表语；把谓语变成主语、定语、表语；把定语变成状语、主语；把宾语变成主语。
在句型方面，把并列句变成复合句，把复合句变成并列句，把状语从句变成定语从句。
在语态方面，可以把主动语态变为被动语态。

拆句法是把一个长而复杂的句子拆译成若干个较短、较简单的句子，通常用于英译汉；合并法是把若干个短句合并成一个长句，一般用于汉译英。
汉语强调意合，结构较松散，因此简单句较多；英语强调形合，结构较严密，因此长句较多。
正译法和反译法这两种方法通常用于汉译英，偶尔也用于英译汉。
所谓正译，是指把句子按照与汉语相同的语序或表达方式译成英语。
所谓反译则是指把句子按照与汉语相反的语序或表达方式译成英语。
正译与反译常常具有同义的效果，但反译往往更符合英语的思维方式和表达习惯。
