shop assistant（售货员）：person who works in a shop; also called sales assistant

shop window（橱窗）：the window at the front of the shop

shopping center（购物中心）：a place with many shops, outside or indoors

window shopping(逛街) ：to look round the shops but do not buy anything

shopping list(购物单)：a list of thins to buy

I went shopping（去购物）yesterday. (=I went to the shops to buy food or clothes, etc.)

I did the shopping（买东西）：(=I bought food and household goods.)
