很多学生对英语不感兴趣,为了找到最合适的教学方式方法,提高英语教学质量,对学生英语学科的特点进行调查研究。

阅读课的教学是小学英语中、高年级的一个重要组成部分,高效巧妙的教学设计决定着阅读教学的成败。Wilga M. Rivers说过:“当一个人没有能力说出他自己所思所想,他是很难将这些东西写出来的”。的确“说”是从内部语言过渡到书面语言的桥梁。英语阅读课中以读促写的教学设计能进一步培养学生良好的阅读习惯,提高学生的阅读能力,是提高英语教学质量的关键。因此需要我们的教师在课堂教学时要注意Post-reading的有效拓展的梯度,引导学生先进行简单的口头课文复述,再慢慢过渡到笔头上的写作练习。而看关键词说一段话是我们常用的提示式说写训练。依据课文内容给出关键的单词或短语,让学生用自己的语言来讲述,使之成为一篇完整的短文。阅读教学的目的不仅要让学生学会相关知识,读懂语篇内容,还要让学生对语篇阅读产生兴趣,使语篇阅读延伸到课后,为写作奠定基础。需要在课堂教学中,既要立足课本,又要跳出课堂,把学生带到更广阔的课外世界,把课堂延伸到课外,延伸到社会、生活中;引导学生到广阔的天地去探索,去摘取新的知识之果,去获取更大的创造能力,才能真正做到培养学生的英语素养。

新《英语课程标准》指出,在小学英语教学中培养学生综合运用语言能力是英语教学的总目标。在小学阶段通过培养学生的英语阅读能力,促进写作技巧,达到提高学生综合运用英语能力和自主学习的能力的目的,同时通过这一课题的研究,有利于促进山区小学英语教师对学生读写能力和自主学习能力的培养的认识和重视,进一步推进教师对适合小学阶段以读促写的教学模式的探索。

1.学习建构主义、教学模式等有关理论,着重学习当前最新的有关阅读与写作的教学书籍。
2.对我校英语阅读与写作的教学现状进行调查和分析,找出教学方法、学习方式、教学评价等方面存在的问题,使研究具有针对性和实践性。
2.本项目的研究现状
听、说、读、写是小学英语教学的四项技能,而现今山区小学英语教学过程普遍重视听和说的能力,在大部分的英语课上,授课老师组织了大量的听说活动,包括生动有趣的游戏及课本剧表演,而很少出现写的活动,偶尔出现写的任务,通常也只会安排在最后一个环节即布置家庭作业中,作业也停留在抄写单词和句子这一阶段。有的教师担心在课堂上写作费时较多,影响教学进度,还有的老师认为“写”的练习不如听、说、演、唱等活动形式来得生动活泼,“写”会在一定程度上冲淡课堂教学中原本活泼的氛围,降低课堂的活力。究其原因,一是教师缺乏对学生进行系统的写作知识的策略指导;二是学生缺乏对所学句子和单词进行思考和消化的时间和空间。三是学生单词和句子的积累不多。这些原因造成了学生从最初盲目写、不会写到不愿意写、惧怕写,直至最后拒绝写的恶性循环。也导致许多小学毕业生升入初中后阅读和写作的基础比较薄弱。
读与写是密不可分的,美国作家舒伯特说过:“Reading is writing.”说明根植阅读的本质是吸收,也就是说阅读材料可以变成自己的写作材料。根据语言习得理论,学习者在学习时常先通过听和读汲取语言知识,从而了解别人的思想,再通过说和写来表达自己的思想,让别人了解自己。大量的听说训练能促进孩子读写能力的提高,而多阅读则是孩子接触英语语言材料、接受信息、活跃思维、增长智力的一种途径,同时也是培养孩子英语思维能力、提高理解力、增强语感、巩固和扩大词汇量的一种好方法。因此,阅读对于提高学生的理解能力、陶冶学生的情感、培养良好的读书习惯有着很大的作用。在阅读中,我们不仅能让学生享受到阅读的快乐,激发他们阅读的兴趣,同时也要把阅读的知识运用到习作中,让学生持之以恒、练笔不辍,进而提高学生的写作水平。写作教学是阅读教学的延伸与深化,是语言输入到语言输出的一个质的转变。要真正掌握好所学的知识,要引导学生动笔进行实践性的巩固训练,使课本知识得到固化。教师在写作训练时要明确各项练习的目的,要注意难度的循序渐进,还要充分考虑到学生的实际能力,要让学生跳一跳摸得着,学生才会有兴趣和信心去完成写的练习。
3.课题组成员应用教学经验总结法,进行教学经验总结,在年级和本校推广教学经验,学会运用教育科学理论的知识,设计新的教学模式,提高自身业务水平。
三、预期价值
小学阶段开设英语课程的目的是培养学生学习英语的积极情感,打下良好的听说读写的基础,最终使学生获得初步的英语综合交际能力。近些年来小学英语教学的重点集中在培养学生的听说能力和交际能力上,大大地弥补了过去传统教学中轻听说重读写的不足,学生的听说能力和口头表达能力较以前有较大的提高。但由于小学阶段存在过分强调听说教学的现象,在某种程度上对学生的写作能力的培养却有所忽视,导致目前的教学现状是:小学生的听、说、读、写能力发展不平衡,其读写能力较之听说能力比较薄弱。中学教师反映:小学毕业生进入初中后,英语口语能力比以前大幅度提高,而书写的能力却相对滞后。因此合理利用教材中的Read and write进行写作教学,通过以读促写,以说促写的途径,注重对学生读、写方法和技能的指导,是学生改写、仿写的最好蓝本。帮助学生在有限的课堂学习中进行有效的写作练习。
第三阶段:总结阶段(2013年7月)
归纳总结,完成结题。
课题的研究方法:采用实践研究法、问卷调查法。
具体操作如下:
1.在实践研究中,搜集有关资料与理论自主学习,为课题研究提供指导。
2.在实践研究中,通过听课、评课、问卷调查等方法,对实践过程中新的课堂模式进行分析、了解情况,找出存在的问题,提出解决方案,调整教学设计。

目的:提高学生的读写能力及自主学习的能力,促进小学英语教师在以读促写的有效课堂模式的探索。
基本内容:1.通过课内多角度的有意识的阅读指导训练,提升学生的阅读能力,让学生掌握一定的阅读策略。
