hang v :逗留，徘徊；悬挂，上吊。
hang 指“逗留，徘徊”时，是不规则动词，过去式是hung ,有下面两个常用短语：
hang about 到处闲逛，四处溜达，围着某人转悠
hang out （在外面）闲荡，闲逛
例句. They often hang out /about in the street .
(1) hang 作“悬挂”解，既可做及物动词也可做不及物动词，过去式是hung .常用短语hang up 表示“挂断电话”. 例句. She hung the c lothes out in the garden .她把衣服晾在花园里了。
Don’t hang up, please!=(hold on ) 请别挂断。
（2）hang 还有“吊死，绞死”的意思，是呈规则变化的及物动词，其过去式是hanged
例句. The man hanged himself. 那个人上吊自杀了。
