When she's feeling down, sometimes I'll make her a smoothie packed with berries, yogurt, spinach and other healthy ingredients to perk her up.Exercise is another must for university students. All that sitting in lectures and the library isn't good for their bodies or minds. I suggested Jenny start going for walks or bike rides when she needs a break from studying. Getting her body moving willboost her mood by releasing happy chemicals in her brain called endorphins. Maybe she could even join an intramural sports team to make new friends and blow off steam.Speaking of friends, it's so important for university students to spend time with their loved ones instead of isolating themselves. When Jenny holes up alone to study for too long, she gets really lonely and depressed. I always tell her to schedule regular hangouts and study sessions with her friends.
