端午节的习俗英语作文(10篇)1.端午节的习俗英语作文篇一The fifth day of the fifth lunar month in China is known as the Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Dragon Boat Festival or the Double Ninth Festival. The Dragon Boat Festival is an old custom in China that has been around for over two thousand years. Why do Chinese people celebrate the festival? There are many legends here, the most important of which is to commemorate the great national poet Qu Yuan in the Chinese calendar. Qu Yuan is a great ancient Chinese poet and one of the world’s four cultural celebrities. For over two thousand years, the fifth day of the fifth lunar month has become a traditional festival commemorating Qu Yuan. According to historical records, on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 278 BC, Qu Yuan, a high-ranking official and patriotic poet of the State of Chu, heard the news that the Qin army had captured the capital of the State of Chu. He was filled with grief and anger, and his heart was cut like a knife. He resolutely wrote his masterpiece “Huaisha”and threw a stone into the Miluo River, sacrificing himself for his country. People along the river have led boats to race to salvage, summon souls along the water, and throw Zongzi into the river to prevent fish and shrimp from eating his body. This custom has lasted for over two thousand years to this day.For thousands of years, Qu Yuan’s patriotic spirit and touching poetry have deeply penetrated people’s hearts. People “cherish and mourn it, and the world will discuss its words and pass them on from generation to generation.”. In the field of folk culture, Chinese people have since closely linked the Dragon Boat Festival dragon boat race and eating Zongzi with the commemoration of Qu Yuan. With the increasing influence of Qu Yuan, the Dragon Boat Festival, which began in the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, gradually spread and became a festival of the Chinese nation. There are many customs in various parts of China during the Dragon Boat Festival. Every day, every household hangs a Zhong Kui statue, hangs a wormwood leaf and calamus, races dragon boats, eats Zongzi, drinks realgar wine, swims through diseases, and wears sachets.Hanging Zhong Kui statue: Zhong Kui captures ghosts, which is a custom during the Dragon Boat Festival. Inthe Jianghuai region of central China, statues of Zhong Kui are hung in every household to ward off evil spirits and prevent evil. Zhong Kui is related to a bizarre rumor. It is said that during the Tang Dynasty (618-907) in China, an emperor dreamed of a large ghost catching a small ghost and devouring it during his illness. He claimed to be Zhong Kui and after waking up, he had the painter Wu Daozi paint a portrait with a fierce ugly appearance, which he believed was used for fighting ghosts, warding off evil spirits, and eliminating evil spirits.Hanging mugwort leaves and calamus: During the Dragon Boat Festival, every household uses calamus, mugwort leaves, pomegranates, garlic, and dragon boat flowers to create human figures and call them “Ai people”. Hang mugwort leaves in the hall, cut them into the shape of tigers or cut ribbons into small tigers, and stick them with mugwort leaves. Women compete to wear them to ward off evil and drive away malaria. Using calamus as a sword and inserting it into the lintel, it has the magical effect of dispelling demons and ghosts.Dragon Boat Race: It is said that in ancient China, many people rowed boats to chase and save Qu Yuan, a wise minister, because they were reluctant to part with him. They were eager to catch up and disappeared when they reached Dongting Lake, which is the origin of dragon boat racing. Later, on May 5th every year, they would row dragon boats to commemorate it. By rowing a dragon boat, disperse the fish in the river to prevent them from eating Qu Yuan’s body.2.端午节的习俗英语作文篇二The Dragon Boat Festival is called May Dragon Boat Festival in my hometown, and it falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. However, people in my hometown seem to have no idea why this festival originated. Before entering junior high school, I did not associate the Dragon Boat Festival with Qu Yuan.Maybe because my hometown is located in the plain and has no habit of eating rice, Zongzi is not a necessary food for the Dragon Boat Festival. Even the beloved dumplings are not the main characters. When I was a child, when the rural conditions were not very good, the Dragon Boat Festival was special only for breakfast, that is, sugar dumplings and Salted duck egg. Sugar buns, make a triangle with white bread and addwhite or red sugar inside. Steam until cooked. Even so, sugar buns are rarely eaten in daily life.Sugar dumplings are both sweet and triangular, which is obviously a substitute for Zongzi. As for why to eat Salted duck egg, it is unknown. I speculate that it may be because the people in my hometown mainly eat noodles and do not like sweets, and the salted duck eggs can just neutralize the sweetness of sugar buns.Sweets are a great temptation for children, especially when there are not many sweets in childhood. Therefore, children love to eat sugar buns the most. Sugar is wrapped in noodles, and by the time it is cooked, the sugar has already melted into sugar water. However, greedy children often pick up sugar buns that have just been cooked and eat them, and as you can imagine, they will scream when the sugar water burns.Salted duck egg are seldom eaten at ordinary times. Because they are expensive, people who have ducks at home usually eat Salted duck egg. If a woman can make a living, she will sell the Salted duck egg she has saved. There are also people who don’t have Salted duck egg,so they can only boil eggs instead. When I was a child, having good breakfast was already after the Dragon Boat Festival, because lunch was the same as usual, and there were very few families who could afford dumplings. It’s different now. There are fewer and fewer people eating sugar dumplings and Salted duck egg in the morning. Eating dumplings at noon has gradually become the main holiday food. When it comes to lunch making, the sound of “DuDuDuDuDuDu”chopping dumplings stuffing comes from every kitchen.3.端午节的习俗英语作文篇三There are so many customs in my hometown that I can’t count them all. Various festivals have different customs. I like the Dragon Boat Festival because I can not only eat Zongzi but also make Zongzi myself. We started preparing more than ten days before the Dragon Boat Festival, so we just had to wait. This day has finally arrived. I put on my apron early and waited for them. My mother picked up the fragrant corn leaves and started wrapping them (this type of corn has also been washed with wine, so it is very fragrant. Everyone chooses the leaves accordingto their own preferences. We like corn, so we use corn leaves to wrap it.) I also followed my mother’s footsteps and skillfully wrapped one with her usual techniques, but I couldn’t keep up with her, so I had to slow down. Put in the dates and then wrap them. I wanted to make Zongzi sweet, so I put more dates. When I wrap one up. Mom has already wrapped several. I only wrapped three when my mother finished wrapping them. After wrapping, I put it into the steamer and waited slowly. I went to my aunt’s house while Zongzi was wrapping. When I saw that they were using bobbins to wrap Zongzi, I also helped them wrap some. When I got home, Zongzi was out of the cage. I immediately jumped up and took a Zongzi made by myself. Because the Zongzi I made was ugly and small, I recognized it at a glance. I took a bite of Zongzi after I untied it. Wow, it’s so sweet! In a short while, I finished one. Mom said, “Stop eating, there will be more activities later!”When everything was ready, we exchanged Zongzi with each family on the basket. When I came back, I went to the Zongzi eating contest. My family sent me as arepresentative to participate in the competition. I can’t wait to eat Zongzi. Finally, my sister untied the Zongzi, and I ate it quickly. I couldn’t eat it half way through. My sister said, “You don’t want your big Zongzi anymore.”I insisted on eating and finally won the competition. The prize is a super big Zongzi flavored with red beans. I went home happily with Zongzi in my arms.”I’m exhausted, exhausted!”I want to relax and eat my big Zongzi. This is the custom of Zongzi: “It’s delicious!”4.端午节的习俗英语作文篇四There are many traditional festivals in China, such as the Spring Festival, which is “one year old with the sound of firecrackers, and the spring breeze brings warmth into Tusu”, the Qingming Festival, which is “rainy in the Qingming Festival, and pedestrians on the road want to die”, and the Mid-Autumn Festival, which is “people look at the moon tonight, and I don’t know who is missing in autumn”... What I want to say is the Dragon Boat Festival, which is “zongzi buns in two buns, Ai wears a dangerous crown”.In my hometown, there are many legends circulating about the Dragon Boat Festival. It is said that in ancient times, there was a patriotic poet named Qu Yuan. He was full of poetry and books, but the then ruler, King Huai of Chu, believed in slander and did not value him. Instead, he valued petty people. Qu Yuan’s full of ambitions could not be realized, so he chose to throw himself into the Miluo River when the state of Chu was conquered. People once took boats to search for Qu Yuan’s body and drove away the fish in the river, but they couldn’t find it. People were afraid that the fish would eat his body, so they put rice into the bamboo tube and threw it into the river, which later evolved into eating Zongzi on the Dragon Boat Festival. Since then, on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month every year, people will make many Zongzi. The green zongzi leaves are wrapped with snow-white glutinous rice, and many condiments can be added, such as meat, jujube, etc. The fragrance of Zongye and the sweet smell of glutinous rice are mixed together, which makes people have a big appetite and can’t help eating more Zongzi. Eating Zongzi has become a big custom of the Dragon Boat Festival.Dragon boat racing is also one of the important customs of the Dragon Boat Festival. A few days before the Dragon Boat Festival, big villages and small towns will prepare dragon boats, arrange personnel for rowing and drumming, and then practice by the lake. On the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, the sun was shining brightly, and the lake was crowded with people. The fence was also crowded with people, which made people worried about the capacity of the fence. Finally, amidst the expectant gaze of everyone, the competition began. The drummer rhythmically tapped the drum face, and the rowers moved in a neat uniform manner. The dragon boats rushed towards the finish line, and this grand scene was extremely spectacular! During the Dragon Boat Festival, people will also hang mugwort on their doors, praying for the health, auspiciousness, and happiness of their family. Artemisia argyi is a medicinal herb that can treat diseases, emitting a special aroma. It not only repels mosquitoes and insects, but also has functions such as warming menstruation, dispelling dampness, dispelling cold, hemostasis, anti-inflammatory, asthma relieving, and cough relieving. In addition, people also spray realgar wine on the walls to expel toxins, bundle clean herbsinto large bundles, boil them in a pot with eggs, and take a bath with the boiled water to prevent illness. These rich and colorful customs are the characteristics of hometown people celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival, and they are the symbols of the Dragon Boat Festival. Of course, people will not forget to mourn this great patriotic poet - Qu Yuan in their hearts.5.端午节的习俗英语作文篇五Dragon Boat Festival, Spring Festival, Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) Festival, Tomb sweeping Day and so on are traditional festivals in China. During holidays, I miss my loved ones twice; Whether it’s wanderers from afar or family members close by, they all need to gather together and celebrate a reunion festival. The Dragon Boat Festival has a long history. Divided into Big Dragon Boat Festival and Small Dragon Boat Festival. The Little Dragon Boat Festival falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, and the Big Dragon Boat Festival falls on the fifteenth day of the fifth lunar month. The character “Duan”has an initial meaning, and “Dragon Boat Festival” is thefirst fifth day of May. The Dragon Boat Festival is also known as the “Dragon Boat Festival”, “Poet Festival”, and “Lantern Festival”. Speaking of these festivals, there is also a sad and beautiful story! During the Warring States period, patriotic poet Qu Yuan committed suicide by throwing himself into the river, and people around him went to the riverbank to row boats and salvage. People are vying to save Qu Yuan from drowning. After salvaging for a long time, people still can’t see Qu Yuan’s body, so they go home and throw rice balls into the river to prevent the fish, shrimp, crabs, lots, etc. in the river from eating Qu Yuan’s body, so there are now eating Zongzi and dragon boat racing. The most important custom of the Dragon Boat Festival is to eat Zongzi. Zongzi is usually made of yellow rice and glutinous rice. Soak yellow rice, glutinous rice, and bamboo leaves wrapped in Zongzi in a basin for one day and one night. Then wrap the Zongzi into a triangle with leaves, and put dates or peanuts on each corner to prevent the rice from overflowing. After the Zongzi is wrapped, it is put into the big pot with the eggs and boiled slowly for an afternoon. AfterZongzi is cooked, open the pot, and the fragrance of bamboo leaves and Zongzi seeps into the eggs, making people cannot help eating more. The Dragon Boat Festival also has a tradition; Use mugwort leaves to repel mosquitoes. In the past, medical care was not well-developed, and some physically weak and disabled people would die after being bitten by mosquitoes. Placing mugwort leaves on the door has a protective effect against evil spirits. People still tie many colorful small brooms on the day of the Dragon Boat Festival. The small broom is made of hemp thread. People use various dyes to dye hemp into colorful threads. Tie it into a 1cm long small broom, then dye some small fruit shells into various colors, with a small hole in the middle. Thread the colorful threads together and tie them to the children’s hands and feet to show good luck.Chinese folk customs have a long history and are not superstitions, but traditional customs. We should respect and protect it. Make ancient traditional culture a harmonious nation and contribute to the economic takeoff.6.端午节的习俗英语作文篇六On the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, housewives of every household soak the bought bamboo leaves (such as bamboo leaves or reed leaves) and glutinous rice in a water basin. In addition to making Zongzi, housewives also need to buy fish, fresh meat, water bamboo and other seasonal vegetables on the street, and cook a table of Dragon Boat meal at noon. The first thing to do during the Dragon Boat Festival in Old Suzhou is to hang a statue of Zhong Kui in the hall, and buy realgar from a pharmacy and mix it with yellow wine to make realgar wine. Before lunch, Old Suzhou called the child over and first used his hand to dip realgar wine and write the word “Wang” on the child’s forehead. Then, he sprinkled some realgar wine around the courtyard. Some people boil and burn Chinese herbs such as Atractylodes macrocephala and Angelica dahurica, smoke indoors, and bathe in mugwort and calamus soup. The customs of Dragon Boat Festival include hanging Zhong Kui, divinatory wormwood leaf calamus, dragon boat racing, eating Zongzi, drinking realgar wine, and traveling to various diseases. Let’s take Xiaoba to have a look!Hanging Zhong Kui statue: Zhong Kui captures ghosts, which is a custom during the Dragon Boat Festival. In the Jianghuai region, every household hangs a statue of Zhong Kui, which is used to suppress houses and ward off evil spirits. Emperor Ming of Tang opened the Yuan Dynasty and returned to the palace from Mount Li topreach martial arts. He suffered from malaria and dreamed of two ghosts, one big and one small. The little ghost was wearing big red crotch less pants, stealing Yang Guifei’s sachet and Emperor Ming’s jade flute, running around the palace. The big ghost wears a blue robe and hat, catches the little ghost, gouges out its eyes, and swallows it in one gulp. Emperor Ming asked, and the Great Ghost reported: My surname is Zhong Kui, who did not perform well in the martial arts examination.I am willing to eliminate demons and demons for Your Majesty. Using calamus as a sword and inserting it on the lintel, it has the divine effect of dispelling ghosts and nobles.Dragon Boat Race: At that time, the people of Chu were reluctant to part with their wise minister Qu Yuan, so many people rowed boats to chase and save him. They were eager to catch up and disappeared when they reached Dongting Lake, which is the origin of dragon boat racing. Later, on May 5th every year, they would row dragon boats to commemorate it. By rowing a dragon boat, disperse the fish in the river to prevent them from eating Qu Yuan’s body. The practice of racing was prevalent in Wu and Yue Chu. In the 29th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, dragon boat races began in Taiwan. At that time, the Governor of Taiwan, Jiang Yuanjun, hosted a friendly race at Banyue Pool in Fahua Temple, Tainan City. Nowadays, Taiwan holds dragon boat races every May 5th. There are races in Hong Kong, and recently, the British have also followed the example of the Chinese by organizing ghost teams for competitive activities. Eating Zongzi: People in Jingchu boiled glutinous rice or steamed zongzi cakes on May 5 and threw them into the river to worship QuYuan, so they used bamboo tubes to hold glutinous rice and throw it down for fear of fish. Every May 5, every family starts to be busy, just to meet the messenger who came as promised - the Dragon Boat Festival. It is said that the Dragon Boat Festival is to commemorate the patriotic poet Qu Yuan. It is said that Qu Yuan threw himself into the Miluo River on the fifth day of May. In order to prevent the small fish and shrimp in the Dongting Lake from damaging Qu Yuan’s body, the people packed a lot of Zongzi and threw it into the lake.Later, on the fifth day of May every year, people will make Zongzi and race dragon boats, which has become a custom in the eyes of the world. What I look forward to most is making Zongzi and eating Zongzi.Every Dragon Boat Festival, my mother-in-law will prepare zongzi leaves, glutinous rice, honey dates, spiced meat and all kinds of delicious ingredients. When we come back, we will wrap Zongzi in the sun. You think, how wonderful and harmonious it is to wrap Zongzi, talk and laugh, and warm the heart with the warm sun!I was originally a bystander, and as I watched, I couldn’t help but wrap it up. I picked up the zongzileaves and folded them inside to form a concave shape, laying a thin layer of glutinous rice. My favorite thing is to put a lot of pork belly on top, and the aunt next to me would smile and say, “This is really a real meat zongzi!”“That’s not it. Don’t make a fuss when it’s not cooked.”My mother also suggested on the side.I don’t care, I keep pushing inside, but when I try to close it, I find that the bottom is stretched out.I quickly sought help from my mother, but to my surprise, she started scolding me while helping me. I can’t handle that much anymore. For the convenience of confirmation, I specially tied a bow. Grandma picked up the wrapped Zongzi to cook. After a long time, Grandma took out a large basket of glutinous rice dumplings. I kept rummaging in it for fear that my meat Zongzi would be robbed. Finally found it, I quickly peeled off the hot meat zongzi and started eating it. The not much glutinous rice was particularly weak to eat, and the fragrant pork belly steamed became even more colorful. After biting it down, it was full of oil, which was particularly satisfying. Eating my own glutinous rice Zongzi, I felt happy and had a sense of achievement from the bottom of my heart. This is the Dragon Boat Festival that I like. However, there are still strong folk customs in southern Fujian.I n the morning, everyone will cut wormwood. The cut wormwood is hu ng in front of the door and behind the house. The whole street is a va st expanse of green, as if thousands of green scarves were flying in t he wind. This wormwood implies repelling mosquitoes and insects, drivi ng out disasters and avoiding evil spirits. The folk custom of wormwood exorcism has been spread to this day, and the time of 12:00 is even more unforgettable. It's twelve o'clock at noon. Every household carries pots and goes to the river to fetch water. Wash your feet or face with crystal clear water to remove the bad luck from your body. After that, people will g ather by the river to kneel and worship. Not only do they kneel down, but there are also many offerings on the tribute platform, including c hicken, duck, fish, meat, wine, fruits and vegetables, etc. Of course, the most important palm. Finally, six of them were dropped into the ri ver to feed fish and shrimp. (so that Qu Yuan's body could continue to rest at the bottom of the sea) The sacrifice was over. The rest of the tribute can be taken home to eat, in order to get some luck and bring good luck.In the afternoon, another climax of the Dragon Boat Festival came - lotus picking. Led by a drunken man who was not well dressed, he car ried a wooden dragon head. The dragon head is carved lifelike, its eye s are bright, and it has a sacred and inviolable dignity. Behind them are gongs and drums, flower boys, etc. The parade will enter every hou se and every household to dance flags and dust. The host should treat guests and send them some candy cookies. The team is more than ten met ers long and consists of hundreds of people. The sound of firecrackers continued, and the sound of gongs and drums resounded through the sky. The momentum is really extraordinary! On the Dragon Boat Festival, children are most happy to get a gift - sachet. Its color is mainly red, yellow and purple, and its surface is embroidered with some beautiful patterns. According to adults, there are many good things in the sachet. Yu is auspicious, with the good wishes of the elders for the children. The Dragon Boat Festival in southern Fujian is always so distinctive and unforgettable!2.端午节英语作文篇二Today is the Dragon Boat Festival. I heard from my father that the Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional festival on the fifth day of the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. It is also called Ai Festival, Summer Festival and Farewell Festival. There are different opinions ab out the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival from generation to generati on. Some people said that it was to commemorate Qu Yuan who died in the Miluo River because of being abandoned in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period; Some people say that it commemorates Wu Zixu, a loyal minister of the State of Wu; Some people said that in memory of Cao E, the filial daughter of the Eastern Han Dynasty, her f ather drowned in the river and did not see her body for several days. Cao E, the filial daughter, cried along the river day and night, because she later threw herself into the river on the Dragon Boat Festival, and reported her father's body five days later. In addition to various legends, there are many customs on the Dragon Boat Festival in various places. Eating Zongzi is the eating custom of the Dragon Boat Festival. It commemorates Qu Yuan's throwing into the river. People are afraid of fish eating Qu Yuan's remains, so they throw rice balls, rice dumplings and eggs to feed fish. Later, they gr adually become eating Zongzi. On the Dragon Boat Festival, people also need to clean the house and sprinkle realgar wine in the kitchen to kill green insects or prevent poisonous insects. They also use realgar w ine to draw the word "king" on the children's forehead and smear it on their ears and nose. "Dragon boat racing is also a traditional custom related to Qu Yuan. He threw himself into the Miluo River and died dur ing the Dragon Boat Festival. The people of Chu mourned for his death, using a boat to salvage and beg for it, and later became a dragon boat racing.".I also know the custom of the Dragon Boat Festival in other places. In Linqing County, Shandong Province, children need to wear yellow cloth shoes made by their mothers themselves, and paint the upper with "F ive Green". It means killing them with Qu Yuan's ink. For the Dragon B oat Festival in Nanjing, each family should prepare a basin of clear w ater, add a little realgar water and two pieces of goose eye money, and use this water to wash the eyes of the whole family, which is called"broken red eye". It is said that it can guarantee no eye disease for a year. Gaoyou Dragon Boat Festival is quite special. There are custom s such as "long life wisps", "sticking five poisons", "sticking magic charms", "sticking yellow cigarettes" and eating "12 red". Children sh ould wear "duck egg dumplings".Now the Dragon Boat Festival has become a day for people to meet a nd relax after thousands of years of evolution. No matter what kind of festival customs, they will bring you joy and sweetness.3.端午节英语作文篇三Today is a very special day. As we all know, today is the Dragon Boat Festival.I heard that the Dragon Boat Festival has a magical origin! It is said that after Qu Yuan, a patriotic poet, jumped into the river, peop le threw Zongzi into the river in order not to let fish eat him. This is the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival.Of course, we bought Zongzi last night and went home to freeze it for today. There are pig meat, red dates, and chestnuts. It makes peop le drool when they think about it. Early this morning, I got up and se cretly steamed Zongzi in the stove, because I couldn't help eating it.At noon, my mother took our family to the scenic spot to watch the dragon boat race. When we went by car, there were already many people on the shore. We managed to find a seat, but found that the contestant s were still preparing. I went to buy two bottles of drinks and stood early on the shore waiting. Here we go, here we go! There are three dragon boat teams, divided into "red", "yellow" and "white". There are also three kinds of "diffe rent" people on board, namely "commander", "drum player" and "rower". All three teams rowed very fast, almost at the same speed. I know that this race is not about speed, as long as you do it with your heart. Al though they sweated a lot, their faces were full of happy smiles. At night, the microwaves on the water surface are sparkling, not t o mention beautiful. We rented a speedboat, 10 yuan for children and 2 0 yuan for adults. Only my mother and I went aboard. At the beginning of the ride, the boat seemed to fall off at any time. On the way, we m ade several turns. It seems that every time we turn, we will throw you out. Fortunately, it's OK to be thrown out, because we are wearing bod y clothes. On the shore, I feel the whole world shaking. I said to myfather, "It's exciting." But my father disdained to say, "I've also be en to haunted houses and played pirate ships."Today is really a unique day. Originally, the Dragon Boat Festival can be spent in this way. If it were the Dragon Boat Festival every da y, it would be great!4.端午节英语作文篇四Today is the fifth day of May, the annual Dragon Boat Festival. You see, Zongzi must be prepared. It tur ned out that my sister had prepared glutinous rice soaked for 3 hours, and also bought rice dumplings, which surprised me. I put the rice in the leaves, but all the rice was scattered on the table. I was very an gry. My sister said to me, "You should make the leaves into a triangle, and then put the rice in!" So I did it again according to the steps my sister said, and pressed on the rice, eh?What's in the middle of the plate next to it? It's meat! "I dug a small hole in the middle of the glutinous rice, made the meat filling into a round shape, and stuffed it into the glutinous rice to make it join the ranks of glutinous rice.". But how to seal it? I looked at my sister and understood everything. I pressed down a piece of leaf that had turned up and tied it tightly with a rope. Success! I packed many according to the previous method. Now it's time to cook. First boil the water, and then put the Zongzi down. After a while, Zongzi was cooke d. The four of us sat at the table and ate Zongzi.I untied the rope and was about to take off the leaves, but I was scalded when I touched it. Sister looked at it and laughed. I blew and blew away the heat. I carefully opened the leaves again, and ate the d elicious Zongzi made by myself - white, fat, glutinous rice, with a ball of fresh and delicious meat stuffing wrapped in it, and put it into my mouth. It was not greasy, but also chewy. It felt good! So the Dragon Boat Festival passed, and I ate my own Zongzi in my mouth, thinking of the poem written by Du Fu, a poet of the Tang Dynasty: Palace clothes are also famous, and the Dragon Boat Festival was honored. The fine pueraria is soft with wind, and the fragrance is light with snow. Since the sky is wet, when the heat comes to clear. It means long and shor t. This is really a happy Dragon Boat Festival!。

The Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated by boat races in the shape of dragons. Competing teams row their boats forward to a drumbeat racing to reach the finish end first. The boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival are traditional customs to attempts to rescue the patriotic poet Chu Yuan. Chu Yuan drowned on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 277 B.C. Chinese citizens now throw bamboo leaves filled with cooked rice into the water. Therefore the fish could eat the rice rather than the hero poet. This later on turned into the custom of eating tzungtzu and rice dumplings. The celebration's is a time for protection from evil and disease for the rest of the year. It is done so by different practices such as hanging healthy herbs on the front door, drinking nutritious concoctions, and displaying portraits of evil's nemesis, Chung Kuei. This festival is to commemorate the death of QU Yuan, an upright and honest poet and statesman who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a river. The most important activity of this festival is the Dragon Boat races. It symbolizes people‘s attempts to rescue Qu Yuan. In the current period, these races also demonstrate the virtues of cooperation and teamwork.Besides, the festival has also been marked by eating zong zi (glutinous rice). Zong zi is made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves. People who mourned the death of Qu threw Zong zi into the river to feed his ghost every year. With the changes of the times, the memorial turns to be a time for protection from evil and disease for the rest of year. People will hang healthy herbs on the front door to clear the bad luck of the house. Although the significance of the festival might be different with the past, it still gives the observer an opportunity to glimpse a part of the rich Chinese cultural heritage. 描写端午节的英语作文篇3On Dragon Boat Festival, parents also need to dress their children up with a sachet. They first sew little bags with colorful silk cloth, then fill the bags with perfumes or herbal medicines, and finally string them with silk threads. The sachet will be hung around the neck or tied to the front of a garment as an ornament. They are said to be able to ward off evil. The sachets (Hsiang Pao in Chinese)are very popular with children and they vie with each other to collect as many as possible. Children are not the only ones who collect Hsiang Pao. Older people are often given them as a symbol of respect, and they are highly prized because of the intricate and beautiful embroidery that adorns them.描写端午节的英语作文篇4Dragon Boat race Traditions At the center of this festival are the dragon boat races. Competing teams drive their colorful dragon boats forward to the rhythm of beating drums. These exciting races were inspired by the villager's valiant attempts to rescue Chu Yuan from the Mi Lo river. This tradition has remained unbroken for centuries.Tzung Tzu A very popular dish during the Dragon Boat festival is tzung tzu. This tasty dish consists of rice dumplings with meat, peanut, egg yolk, or other fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves. The tradition of tzung tzu is meant to remind us of the village fishermen scattering rice across the water of the Mi Low river in order to appease the river dragons so that they would not devour Chu Yuan.Ay Taso The time of year of the Dragon Boat Festival, the fifth lunar moon, has more significance than just the story of Chu Yuan. Many Chinese consider this time of year an especially dangerous time when extra efforts must be made to protect their family from illness. The most obvious example is probably Christmas, which is celebrated around the world by people who aren’t even Christian. Similarly, in recent years, the Dragon Boat Festival has moved beyond China to become an international holiday celebrated by people who may know little about the holiday’s origins. The Dragon Boat Festival is one of three major Chinese holidays, along with the Spring and Moon Festivals. Of the three, it is possibly the oldest, dating back to the Warring States Period in 227 B.C. The festival commemorates Qu Yuan, a minister in the service of the Chu Emperor. Despairing over corruption at court, Qu threw himself into a river. Townspeople jumped into their boats and tried in vain to save him. Then, hoping to distract hungry fish from his body, the people scattered rice on the water.Over the years, the story of Qu’s demise transformed into the traditions of rac ing dragon boats and eating zongzi – a kind of rice wrapped in bamboo leaves. The races have certainly captured the imagination of people from all over the world. Every spring there are nearly 60 dragon boat races held outside of China in cities from Vanco uver to Sydney, from Gdańsk,Poland to Cape Town, South Africa. Canada alone has nearly 50 dragon boat teams and Germany has nearly 30.So what is it about the Dragon Boat Festival that appeals to foreigners? “It’s an unusual sport,” says one racer from Germany. “It’s not like everybody’s doing it. That’s one of the reasons that there’s such great team spirit in a dragon boat team –everybody feels like we’re doing something special.” And what about the zongzi? “Ehhh, they’re not bad, I guess,” he says. “Something of an acquired taste. I just haven’t really acquired it yet.”描写端午节的英语作文篇6At the beginning of May each year five China is the most traditional festival, the Dragon Boat festival. In the festival, we get up early in the morning. 端午节优秀英语作文(10篇)1.端午节优秀英语作文篇一Today is the fifth day of the fifth lunar month and also the traditional Dragon Boat Festival. This festival is celebrated in memory of Qu Yuan. Qu Yuan was a minister of King Huai of Chu during the Spring and Autumn period. He couldn’t bear to see his homeland invaded and died on May 5th by throwing a stone into the Miluo River. The people of Chu were extremely mournful and rushed to the Miluo River to pay tribute to Qu Yuan. A fisherman took out Rice and vegetable roll, eggs and other food prepared for Qu Yuan and threw them into the river “plop, plop”, saying that if the fish, dragons, shrimps and crabs were full, they would not bite Qu’s body. Later, fearing that Rice and vegetable roll would be eaten by Jiaolong, people came up with the idea of wrapping rice with neem leaves, wrapped with colored silk, and gradually developed into Zongzi. In addition, during the Dragon Boat Festival, there is a custom of dragon boat racing in the south. In the morning, I saw my mother insert a green plant upside down on the door. My mother said it was called mugwort, which is used to ward off evil and drive awaymalaria, and it is also a custom. At lunch, my mother put several plates of Zongzi, including nuts, dates, bean paste, and so on, emitting a strong fragrance. I took one, gently peeled off the leaves, and gradually revealed a smooth and shiny glutinous rice Zongzi inside. I took a bite of it, sweet and fragrant. When I ate it in my mouth, it was sticky and delicious. My grandma also bought me a sachet and hung it around my neck. She said it has a mosquito repellent effect. I didn’t expect these folk customs to really have their purpose! What a happy Dragon Boat Festival!2.端午节优秀英语作文篇二”On the fifth of May, it is the Dragon Boat Festival. I have never made Zongzi, and I also want to make Zongzi because my mother makes it so well. So I asked my mother, “Mom, can I wrap it?” My mother said, “No, you don’t know how to wrap it.” After my repeated requests, my mother finally agreed. “You have to learn well with me.” My mother picked up a piece of zongzi leaf, folded it into a funnel shape, and then put glutinous rice, dates, red beans, and peanuts inside. My family and I went on a trip to Tangqi Town in Yuhang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. After nearly 2 hours of driving, we arrived at the entrance of Tangqi Baisha loquat picking base. As soon as I walked into the picking base, there were yellow loquats growing on big trees, like small lanterns hanging from the trees. I excitedly rushed into the loquat forest and began to pick it crazily. The first time I tried white sand loquat, I couldn’t help but feel a refreshing sensation emerging from the loquat. When I peel it off, I see that the meat is white and tender, like a big white gem. When I bite it, it is sour with a hint of sweetness... Although the meat is not much, it is very hydrated. Many poets use Tangqi Baisha loquat as their poetry. After listening to these, I am even more proud of Tangqi Baisha loquat! After picking the loquats, we arrived at TangqiAncient Town again. As soon as we walked into the ancient town, we saw the schematic diagram of the town.I was surprised to find that the famous Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal in China flows through this ancient town. We walked to the canal bridge marked with a star on the map of the ancient town. The bridge deck was entirely paved with large blue stones, and both sides of the bridge were quaint streets. Looking down again, below the bridge was the famous Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal.I couldn’t help but exclaim: Ah, it’s really spectacular! Finally, we bought some loquat wine and loquat paste to take home as a souvenir, and we also welcome everyone to Tangqi to taste the delicious food of the ancient town. After eating the wheat flowers, I took out a meat dumplings (in fact, to be honest, I also love eating Zongzi). The aroma is attractive. Every grain of glutinous rice has become dark brown. The most irresistible is the attractivearoma of Zongzi. After a bite, it is glutinous and sweet, and tastes very good. The Dragon Boat Festival activities have come to an end soon, and this festival can be described as “delicious on the tongue”. I really want to celebrate another Dragon Boat Festival!8.端午节优秀英语作文篇八The previous Dragon Boat Festival was spent with parents in the park, but this year’s Dragon Boat Festival is spent in the countryside. Moreover, I also celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival differently this time.At around two o’clock in the morning, I got up and got dressed before going out the door. At this time, people usually wake up and go for a spring outing. But I think it’s too boring to go for a spring outing during the Dragon Boat Festival. So I had a sudden idea - to go herding sheep.I picked up the whip, and my uncle led the sheep in front, much like a “head sheep” carrying a flock of sheep. I swung my whip behind me, driving the sheep. In no time, we arrived at the grassland. The sheep plunged into the grassland to eat the lush green grass;Uncle sat on the side listening to the radio. I looked at the vast expanse of grass, the green beauty was indescribable. This kind of green is not visible in the city, and not even a few grass can be seen in the city.I looked so intoxicated that I couldn’t help but lie on the grass and fall asleep. At more than five o’clock in the morning, I returned to my uncle’s house, and breakfast was Zongzi and eggs cooked by my own chicken. I suddenly remembered the scene when I was a child and had a competition with children over the Dragon Boat Festival. When I was in elementary school, the class held a competition to knock eggs, and the one with the smaller egg knocked against each other. Winning the egg would be called the “Egg King” by us, and then the “Egg King” would be eaten up by its owner under our gaze. After thinking about it, I picked up the eggs and knocked them against each other. Then, I ate the remaining winning egg completely. In the evening, my uncle and I went to pick up my aunt together. My aunt spent the whole day picking beans in the greenhouse. As soon as I arrived there, I crawledinto the greenhouse. The bean sprouts had already reached the top of the greenhouse, and the beans had grown very long. After my uncle loaded all the beans into the car, there was no place for me to sit, so I had to sit in the “bean cart”. But I felt more comfortable lying down, so I lay down. The bumps along the way were as thrilling as riding a mountain bike, as if about to fall off.In the evening, our family sat on the hot kang, surrounded by the dining table, eating dumplings, feeling very happy. This year’s Dragon Boat Festival has left me with many happy and beautiful memories, which have been engraved in my mind and will never be forgotten. I really hope to spend the Dragon Boat Festival in the countryside next year. Although it is not as lively as in the south, it makes me unforgettable.9.端午节优秀英语作文篇九The Dragon Boat Festival is an annual festival in China, and it is a joyful holiday for us children because we can have a three-day holiday and have fun to the fullest. Qu Yuan, a high-ranking official of the State of Chu, repeatedly dissuaded him and committed suicide in the river. In order to prevent fish and shrimp from eating Qu Yuan’s body, people make Zongzi and leave it in the river for fish and shrimp to eat. Instead, he was expelled from the palace. Qu Yuan was so angry that he jumped into the Miluo River. After learning this, the local fisherman rowed a small boat and scattered the rice in the bamboo tube to Qu Yuan in the Miluo River. Later, people changed rice in bamboo tubes into zongzi, and changed rowing boats into dragon boats to commemorate Qu Yuan. Our whole family admired Qu Yuan very much. Therefore, our family celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival every year. The traditional custom of the Dragon Boat Festival is to eat zongzi. Our family has a real expert in making zongzi - my mother. Every year during the Dragon Boat Festival, our family can eat delicious zongzi. My mother often said: zongzi wrapped with reed leaves is the most fragrant. Therefore, every year on the Dragon Boat Festival, my mother makes zongzi with reed leaves. Before making zongzi, she first made preparations: put the leaves of reed in water and cook, and wash the prepared glutinous rice and jujube respectively. When the leaves of the reed cooled, she began to make zongzi. She first took three leaves and rolled them into a cone. Then she put a jujube, then put glutinous rice in it, and then put a few jujubes in the middle. Finally, she tied the leaves with thread and wrapped a zongzi. Her dumplings are fat and big, like old Buddha sleeping. After the dumplings are wrapped, my mother puts them in a pressure cooker and steams them for 40 minutes, then puts them for three or four hours to make them delicious, and then you can eat them! The rice dumplings made by my mother are so fragrant that I will eat them as soon as I see them. Therefore, whenever I eat zongzi, I always eat a lot! After the Dragon Boat Festival, we should not only eat zongzi, but also race dragon boats!I like watching dragon boat races best. Dozens of sailors are rowing with oars and beating drums with high morale. "Come on, come on!" The cheerleaders outside the stadium were full of passion and issued thunderous shouts and cheers. The sailors had to row harder. The whole scene of the dragon boat race was very spectacular and warm.Eating zongzi and dragon boat racing, these two traditional customs jointly weave a noisy Dragon Boat Festival.有关端午节的英语作文篇三Besides the Spring Festival, my favorite is the Dragon Boat Festival. Why? Please put your ears together and I'll tell you quietly that zongzi for the Dragon Boat Festival is my favorite.Mother bought the materials for making zongzi as early as a few days ago and prepared the five-color thread. Early this morning, my mother began to make zongzi. I also want to learn. Mother said, "well, I'm afraid you can't learn."Just do it. I picked up two Zong leaves like my mother, rolled them into a funnel-shaped tube, picked up some glutinous rice from the water, put it in, press a honey jujube, wrap it with the rest of the leaves, and tie a thin nylon plastic rope. Eh, the zongzi I made is not very similar to that made by my mother. My mother's edges and corners are clear. Mine is not as good as hers, and each corner is a little round. Looking at the "strange thing" in my hand, my mother "chuckled" and said intermittently: "are you. This is zongzi. Zongzi?"I blushed and had to ask my mother for advice. My mother held back her smile and said, "there's no secret when making zongzi. Just fold the corners of zongzi, don't put too much rice, and attach another leaf when you live in the bag."Oh, so it is. I quickly wrapped up zongzi as my mother said. Oh, this time my zongzi is much better than the last one. I began to wrap the third and fourthAt noon, I'm going to start cooking zongzi. I wait and wait. One second seems to become a year. I finally know what "living like a year" is. With my mother's "zongzi out of the pot",I ran to the kitchen at the speed of 100 meters. Regardless of the hot boiled water, I quickly picked out the less beautiful zongzi I wrapped, opened the "package" and ate it with relish. Mother smiled and said, "slow down, no one will rob you. Look at your greedy appearance!"This Dragon Boat Festival is the most unforgettable because I ate zongzi made by myself.关于端午节的英语作文范文篇四In hometown, people usually call the traditional Dragon Boat Festival "May Festival"。

Every spring there are nearly 60 dragon boat races held outside of China in cities from Vancouver to Sydney, from Gdańsk, Poland to Cape Town, South Africa. Canada alone has nearly 50 dragon boat teams and Germany has nearly 30.So what is it about the Dragon Boat Festival that appeals to foreigners? “It's an unusual sport,” says one racer from Germany. “It's not like everybody's doing it. That's one of the reasons that there's such great team spirit in a dragon boat team – everybody feels like we're doing something special.” And what about the zongzi? “Ehhh, they're not bad, I guess,” he says. “Something of an acquired taste. Although the significance of the festival might be different with the past, it still gives the observer an opportunity to glimpse a part of the rich Chinese cultural heritage.端午节的英语作文篇11The Dragon Boat Festival is a grand festival celebrated on the 5th day of 5th month of the Chinese lunar calendar. This is the source of the alternative name of Double Fifth Festival. According to a widely stated story, the festival developed to commemorate the great patriotic poet Qu Yuan of Chu State in Warring States Period. If that is true, Dragon Boat Festival has a history of about 2,500 years. The most popular activities of Dragon Boat festival are racing dragon boats and eating rice dumplings. Since 2008,Dragon Boat Festival has been celebrated not only as a festival but also a public holiday in China.。

端午节英语作文范文(10篇)

端午节英语作文范文(10篇)1.端午节英语作文范文篇一The Dragon Boat Festival can be considered grand in Chinese folk festivals. Zongzi, tea eggs, and wormwood are all the characteristics of the Dragon Boat Festival. When I was a child, I was excited about the Dragon Boat Festival a week in advance, because I could eat delicious Zongzi. At that time, life was monotonous and very bitter, not that I could not eat anything during the festival. Speaking of Zongzi, it is not only delicious, but also fun in the process of making Zongzi. Every year, when the Dragon Boat Festival arrives, my mother runs on a pot of glutinous rice the first night. The next morning, my mother and I wrap it together. The green leaves of Zongzi are wrapped with glutinous rice and dates, and they are made into a triangular shape. After wrapping, they are put in a big pot and boiled for three or four hours. After that, my mother soaks Zongzi in two prepared buckets. When it is cool, she carefully pokes the bamboo leaves, bites a mouthful of white and tender glutinous rice, and the purple and red dates are exposed, dipped in white sugar and eaten again,At that time, it tasted so sweet and delicious, enduring a lingering aftertaste. On the eve of the Dragon Boat Festival, every family inserted mugwort picked on the mountain into their door, saying it was to ward off evil spirits. As children, we just followed suit and didn’t understand the meaning behind it. On the morning of the Dragon Boat Festival, after waking up, my mother wrapped colorful silk threads around our wrists and ankles, which she said could help us ward off diseases and evil spirits. In fact, in my heart, these colorful threads are substitutes for those exquisite bracelets. Some families also spend some money to buy fragrant lotus bags for their children to carry around. My mother made them herself with some small cloth, stuffed some cotton inside, and put some vanilla inside. Even so, we are very happy. Recalling childhood holidays is joyful, and the festive atmosphere is stronger than it is now. 2.端午节英语作文范文篇二The annual Dragon Boat Festival is approaching again this year. On the day before the Dragon Boat Festival, every household was busy making Zongzi. That morning, when I got out of bed, I saw my motherhad placed fragrant Zongzi and warm eggs on the table.I quickly washed my face casually and asked my father to eat Zongzi together. Dad also quickly came to the table, and our family talked about Zongzi while eating.I said to my father, “Zongzi is very special in shape. It is neither square nor round. What shape is it?” My father didn’t answer my question, but he casually told me the origin of eating Zongzi on the Dragon Boat Festival. His father said, “It is said that eating Zongzi is to commemorate the ancient poet Qu Yuan. Qu Yuan wrote many poems and put forward many patriotic political ideas in his life, but the king of Chu refused to accept them. Later, the land of Chu was occupied, and he jumped into the river with great anxiety and indignation. People, in order to remember him and respect him, threw Zongzi and many delicious food into the river every year on this day, meaning that the fish were not allowed to eat Qu Yuan’s body. ”Dad finished speaking. I said, “Qu Yuan is really good! But mom, how does Zongzi wrap?”Mom said, “Zongzi uses green, fresh reed leaves to wrap white glutinous rice and red dates. If you don’t wrap dates, you can also use beans instead. It takes one night tocook it. After cooking, peel off the dark green reed leaves, and you will see white rice balls inside. It is delicious and not greasy. It is both an appetizer and a nutritious tonicAh。

端午节英语作文范文【10篇】1.端午节英语作文范文Speaking of dragon boat racing, I think everyone has heard and witnessed it. You listen to the sound of gongs and drums and the roar of firecrackers. The dragon boat race is about to begin. There are two people on the side of the river, and the mountain people and the sea are surrounded by the audience. You argue about who loses and who wins. The dragon boats rowed out one after another. The strength of the three dragon boats was equal. The players rowed the oars “one, two, one, two, one” neatly. Standing at the bow of the boat was a burly man. He took the drum hammer in his hand and knocked it sonorously and forcefully to boost his morale. The watchers on the shore stared and shouted “come on”anxiously. The players on the river rowed happily. Listening to the strong shouts of the audience, theyimmediately became full of confidence, rowed more vigorously, the sound of gongs and drums became louder and louder, and the speed of oars rowed faster and faster. The river was stirred up and splashed with snow-white waves. The river beat fiercely against the river bank, and the players rushed forward fiercely one by one. When it was difficult to solve the problem, the blue team rowed forward hard and finally won the championship. Although the other two teams lost, they were not discouraged, but congratulated the blue pair with an optimistic attitude. At this time, firecrackers roared, and the voice of the people was boiling. It was time to give awards for the champion. Cheers and shouts came. The sound of firecrackers was the most dynamic symphony in the dragon boat race. The river calmed down and the gongs, drums and firecrackers disappeared. Just now, the lively atmosphere gradually faded, and the Grand Dragon Boat Race pulled down the curtain.2.端午节英语作文范文Then comes the annual Dragon Boat Festival, which commemorates Qu Yuan. On this day, people will miss thispatriotic poet by eating zongzi and racing dragon boats.Today, my father is going to take me to the dragon boat race. I jumped three feet high with joy. Dad took me off. Along the way, the flowers nodded gently to me, the grass smiled sweetly at me, and the breeze kissed my face. My heart was very happy.Soon, we came to a river. WOW! There are a sea of people here, colorful flags are flying and drums are deafening. We managed to squeeze in. Look, there are three small red flags on the river. According to the elders, the rules of dragon boat racing are: two dragon boats cross the small red flag at both ends of the river back to back. If you win the small red flag in the middle first, you will win. Suddenly there was a whistle and the game began! The red dragon and the green dragon ran out like arrows at the same time. The morale of the warriors of the two dragon boats was high. With the sound of drums and gongs, they rowed the oars neatly and uniformly. Soon, red dragon and green dragon cameto the corner almost at the same time. At this time, the audience couldn’t help shouting: “come on! Come on!”Finally, it’s the most wonderful moment - Green rush. The players who play drums on the red dragon and the green dragon play drums with one hand and stretch out the other hand on their side, ready to grab the small red flag in the middle. Finally, because the drummer of red dragon was experienced, he grabbed the little red flag one second faster. The audience on the shore couldn’t help cheering again. After watching this wonderful dragon boat race, I think that as long as we have the spirit of courage and unity and struggle like the Dragon Boat warriors, any difficulties can be solved.3.端午节英语作文范文”Come on!”“OK, hurry up!” Dragon boat race, dragon boat race! I couldn’t help running over.”Bang, start!”The referee gave the order. Several dragon boats jumped out like arrows off the string. Look, the second boat is far away. It is red all over and its golden tail and head are raised together, as if to say, “the first is mine!” Ah! A dragon boat is catching up! Ten meters, five meters... At this time, the drum on the second ship sounded more urgent. The crew were well-trained, accelerated sharply and shouted slogans. The crew behind were startled and disordered. Some front and back, the ship began to turn. However, the crew quickly adjusted their actions and accelerated. But it has fallen behind.Looking back, ah, the dragon boat has returned, and the other one is also turning around. The dragon boat behind has red, green and yellow hair on its head, a bell around its neck, and two bright big eyes, lovely and playful. Catch up, catch up! The two ships went hand in hand, chopping the waves. The dragon boat in the back was unwilling to be outdone. It caught up and overtook the last one justnow! It was menacing, and its red eyes seemed to have a raging anger burning, and its body was murderous. In the middle, several dragon boats are chasing each other. The two dragon boats in front are chasing the Central Plains to see who the flowers fall to. I held my breath nervously and stared at the lake without blinking. “Shua -”at the beginning, the Dragon Boat rowed ashore. The dragon boat was wearing big red flowers, so gorgeous and beautiful, because he was bought by hard work.As long as you make your own efforts, you will have the joy of harvest.4.端午节英语作文范文The annual Dragon Boat race was held in my hometown on the day of the Dragon Boat Festival. I saw a sea of people on the shore, colorful flags flying everywhere, people clapping their hands and cheering, and it was very lively. Hearing the deafening sound of gunfire, dozens of dragon boats “flew”out like arrows off the strings. All dragon boats are chasing after each other and are unwilling to show weakness.A drummer stood in the bow of the ship, beating gongs and drums in an orderly manner. With the sonorous and powerful sound of gongs and drums, the hearts of the audience are also surging with passion, shouting cheers and cheering for their team. The oarsman was dedicated and rowed with all his strength. I saw them all sweating, bean sized beads of sweat hanging on their foreheads, but they still didn’t complain and tired, and worked hard. The helmsman is standing behind the dragon boat. The direction of the dragon boat is controlled by the helmsman. Every helmsman was attentive, his eyes fixed on the front, and did not dare to slack off.Unknowingly, the race schedule is over half, and every time the team is red in the face, regardless of up and down. Just look at the end of the line, people’s hearts are hanging up, staring at the river. Each dragon boat passed quickly from everyone’s eyes, such as a runaway horse. Before it could react, all the dragon boats passed the last bend. The drummer’s drumming became louder and louder, which seemed to overshadowthe cheers and cheers of the people. And the paddler did his best to enter the sprint. The helmsman is not idle. A sharp turn depends on their reaction. The dragon boat was getting closer and closer to the finish line, and the excited hearts of the audience hung to their throat. Just listen to the order and the game is over. Everyone cheered and was very happy. Happy for the winning team!In this way, in a happy atmosphere, the dragon boat race was over, but my heart still echoed in bursts of gongs and drums5.端午节英语作文范文I stood on the noisy arch bridge. The air was filled with the smell of ice cream, glutinous rice dumplings, and the smell of algae from the river... It was like a pot of hodgepodge. Not only the smell is strange, but also noisy. In front of him, a tall father let the baby ride on his shoulder. The baby panicked and scratched on his father’s head with chubby little hands. But Dad’s hair was short and sweaty. The baby’s hair “slipped”and slipped away again, which made him moreworried. His head tilted back and just knocked on the head of the person behind him. The people behind wanted to talk to the father, but they couldn’t say anything, just adding a bit of excitement to the bridge.Compared with the noisy bridge, the opposite bank is much cleaner. One by one, high-rise buildings seem to line up to the end of the world. Sometimes, when the breeze blows, it will shake the green willow branches, just like green The swing flew into the sky.Suddenly, the drumming of the drum burst into my ears - it was the beginning of the Dragon Boat Race!I pushed away the crowd and pushed to the front. At a glance, I saw the blue dragon boat rushing in front. The Dragon Boat didn’t use drums to sound, but whistles. The commanding hand was agitated by his cheek, which made the veins on his neck burst. He didn’t think it was enough to dance with his hands and feet. It was a complete struggle. The rower worked too hard and splashed white water. The water dragon churned and splashed the helmsman. But the helmsman didn’t realizethat whether it was sweat or river water, he just narrowed his eyes into a slit and looked hard at the heading ahead. At the end of the race, the people on the Dragon Boat relaxed and accidentally turned over on one side. Although the crew fell into the water, they didn’t care at all, and their faces were still excited and excited. There were bursts of laughter, scolding and cheering in the air of the Dragon Boat Festival.6.端午节英语作文范文Today is the fifth day of may in the lunar calendar. It is the annual Dragon Boat Festival. And I want to talk about dragon boat racing! Dragon boat racing is also a traditional custom in China. It’s my favorite custom. I’ll explain it to you.Dragon Boat Racing originated in the state of Chu. People were reluctant to throw Qu Yuan into the river to die. Many people rowed to catch up with the rescue. They scrambled and disappeared when they reached Dongting Lake. After that, we row a dragon boat on May 5 every year to commemorate it. By rowing a dragon boatto disperse the in the river, so as not to eat Qu Yuan’s fish. The practice of racing was popular in Wu, Yue and Chu at that time. Before the dragon boat race, please invite the dragon and offer sacrifices to the gods. For example, before the Dragon Boat Festival in Guangdong, the dragon boat should be launched from under the water. The South China Sea God in the South China Sea Temple that has been sacrificed should be installed with a dragon head and a dragon tail, and then prepared for the race. And buy a pair of paper cocks and put them on the dragon boat. I think it can protect the ship.Dragon boats are mainly divided into small dragon, medium dragon and big dragon. The little dragon can carry 10 to 12 people, the middle dragon can carry 20 to 26 people, and the big dragon can carry 50 people. In modern dragon boats, there are only zhonglong and Xiaolong. But only the fishermen kept the dragonrace. For people on the water, winning the championship in the dragon boat race, especially the big dragon race, is a sign of a smooth wind that year.In addition to the speed of the race, there are other activities of dragon boat rowing. For example, the dragon boat tour is to row a dragon boat to visit and gather in a familiar nearby village during the dragon boat race. Sometimes dragon boats have various patterns of strokes, which have the meaning of performance. For example, the dragon boat in Guangzhou is inserted into the water when holding an open oar in hand, and then picked up to splash the water. The talents at the bow and stern rhythmically stop and press the boat, making the Dragon Boat fluctuate like a dragon swimming in the water. The dragon boat in Yuhang County, Zhejiang Province, sometimes makes people step on the tail of the dragon to make the dragon head high, and the sharp waves in the bow spit out from the cage, like a dragon swallowing clouds and rain. There are so many patterns of dragon boats that youare dazzled! Do you like dragon boats, too? I guess so.8.端午节英语作文范文Dragon boat racing is the custom of the Dragon Boat Festival and one of the most important folk activities of the Han nationality in the Dragon Boat Festival. It is very popular in the south of the people’s Republic of China and there is also the habit of rowing dry dragon boats in the north. There are many theories about its origin. There are sacrificial activities such as sacrificing Cao E, sacrificing Qu Yuan, sacrificing water god or Dragon God. Its origin can be traced back to the end of primitive society. It has been listed in the intangible cultural heritage list. Dragon boat racing has been introduced to neighboring countries such as Japan, Vietnam and Britain.”Dragon Boat Race” is a custom that existed in the Warring States period. At this time, people play the game of “dragon race” and “dragon race” in the form of “dragon race”and “dragon race”in the form of drum. In the two lakes region, sacrificing Qu Yuan is closely related to dragon boat racing. Maybe after the death of Qu Yuan, Cao E and Wu Zixu, the local peoplealso used soul boats to bury their souls, so there is this custom. However, in addition to commemorating Qu Yuan, dragon boat racing has also given different meanings to people everywhere. Before the dragon boat race, we should invite the dragon and offer sacrifices to the gods. For example, before the Dragon Boat Festival, Guangdong dragon boats should start underwater, sacrifice the Nanhai God in the Nanhai temple, install the dragon head and dragon tail, and then prepare for the race. And buy a pair of paper cockerels and put them on the dragon boat, thinking that they can bless the boat. Fujian and Taiwan went to Mazu temple to worship. Some sacrifice the dragon head directly by the river, killing chickens and dripping blood on the dragon head, such as Sichuan, Guizhou and other individual areas. Before the dragon boat race, various sacrificial and commemorative ceremonies will be held. Generally, incense candles and paper money will be burned for chicken, rice, meat, fruit, zongzi, etc. Nowadays, these superstitious rituals are rare, but in the past, when people offered sacrifices to the Dragon Temple, the atmosphere was very serious. They prayed for a good harvest in agriculture, good weather, going astray, bustling about disasters and good luck in everything, and also blessed the safety of boating. In people’s words, “a lucky picture” expresses people’s good wishes.9.端午节英语作文范文Yesterday, I took a bus home and suddenly saw a dragon boat on which side of the gray bridge. I thought it must be the Dragon Boat Festival again. When I got home, I told my father about it. My father said, “well, tomorrow is a weekend. I’ll take you to see the dragon boat race.” I was so happy that I almost fainted.Early this morning, we took our own dumplings and set out for Sanlong. Sanlong is a wetland in Wenzhou. Where the river network is vertical and horizontal, many dragon boats race there every year, which is lively. On the way, my father told me the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival. It turns out that the Dragon BoatFestival is a memorial day to commemorate Qu Yuan, an ancient patriotic poet in China.During the Warring States period, there was a monarch of the state of Chu who was very fatuous. He ate, drank and played all day and ignored the government. The people lived in dire straits, and the country was already under siege. In order to save the country, Qu Yuan put forward many good policies for governing the country to the king, but the king didn’t listen at all. Qu Yuan didn’t want to be a subjugated slave, so he threw himself into a river in the Miluo River. Later, in order to commemorate him, people had the custom of eating zongzi and rowing dragon boats on the Dragon Boat Festival. When we arrived at Sanlong, the river bank was already a sea of people. There are many dragon boats approaching here on each river. The competition is about to begin. The athletes are grinding their fists and rubbing their palms, eager to try. In the first round, there were four dragon boats: red, yellow, blackand white. I like the white boat and I want to cheer for him. At this time, there was a gunshot, and suddenly the Dragon drums and bugles were roaring. The four dragon boats shot out like arrows. The audience on the shore was boiling. I also began to cheer for the white boat: “come on, come on, come on, white boat.” The race was over. Although I was a little sorry that my favorite white boat only won the second place, I was still moved by their spirit of gritting their teeth and sticking to the end when they were behind. I think today’s Dragon Boat Festival is really delicious.10.端午节英语作文范文Do you know the Dragon Boat Festival? Do you know anything about the Dragon Boat Festival? As soon as the gunshot rang, more than a dozen dragon boats flew on the water like arrows, chasing each other. Do not give in to each other and be unwilling to show weakness. 端午节英语作文【十篇】1.端午节英语作文Today is the Dragon Boat Festival. My mother woke us up early to take us to the market. I asked my mother, “what are we going to do?” Mother said, “today is the Dragon Boat Festival. It’s just the market. I’ll take you to the market.” It’s a new thing to go to the market. It’s said that there are a sea of people in the market, and there are all kinds of Hawking. There are many people, just like all goods are free. I really want to see such a scene, so we set out immediately. It’s really worthy of its reputation. There are all kinds of names, “delicious watermelon, 80 cents a kilogram, no money if it’s not sweet!”“Come and see, come and buy, the manufacturer sells directly!”It’s really noisy, and the goods are exquisite. Because today is the Dragon Boat Festival, there are many people selling zongzi, so the smell of zongzi is everywhere in the market. The attractive zongzi makes people salivate. My mother and I stopped in front of a stall. We bought two zongzi, sat down and began to eat. The outer skin of zongzi is wrapped with greenzongzi bamboo leaves, which looks like a pyramid. When you open the bamboo leaves, you can see the green bamboo leaves, white glutinous rice and red jujubes. They are so attractive! I took a bite. Well, it’s really delicious in the world! After visiting the market, I saw several partners. We played hide and seek together again. I chose a relatively hidden place. They failed to find me with great efforts. I poked my head out secretly and glanced at it. I saw that the others were caught. I was still silent. They were worried and mobilized all their partners to search the whole parking lot. Finally, I was caught. This Dragon Boat Festival, I not only ate delicious zongzi, but also had so much fun with my friends. It’s really an interesting Dragon Boat Festival!2.端午节英语作文Today is the Dragon Boat Festival on the fifth day of May. I want to eat zongzi.Early in the morning, my mother bought glutinous rice, Zongye, jujube and other materials for zongzi from the market to prepare zongzi.Speaking of this zongzi, it has a great origin.During the Warring States period, the great poet Qu Yuan threw himself into the river. The villagers nearby were afraid that the Jiaolong in the river would eat Qu Yuan, so they wanted to throw some food to the Jiaolong. What to vote for! Throw some rice handlebars, but the rice will disperse in the water. A villager thought of an idea. Wrap the rice grains with lotus leaves and tie them with ropes, and the rice will not disperse. Everyone followed suit, and zongzi was born. Every year, the fifth day of the first month is also known as the Dragon Boat Festival. Now, people eat Zongzi on the Dragon Boat Festival in memory of Qu Yuan. When the ingredients are ready, they begin to make zongzi. First, take out two Zong leaves and fold them crosswise. Scoop up some glutinous rice leaves and put them on the glutinous rice leaves with a spoon. This step is the most important part of making zongzi. If you don’t wrap it well, zongzi won’t work. Naturally, I can’t wrap it. I just fold it randomly and tie it with a rope. A zongzi is finished.Soon, the dumplings were steamed. When I opened the lid of the pot, I saw the dumplings I made. Either therice is too little and collapses, or the rice grains are drilled out of the gap of Zongye. Although the appearance is not good, it is at least the crystallization of my labor. I still tasted it. Glutinous rice is full of the fragrance of zongzi leaves. It is soft and glutinous without sticky teeth. Jujube is also sweet and delicious. On the Dragon Boat Festival, there are not only zongzi, but also dragon boats, Wormwood Leaves and realgar wine. When rowing a dragon boat, it can be said that it is very lively. Gongs and drums make the sky noisy, which makes the program more lively.Dragon Boat Festival, beautiful Dragon Boat Festival, lively Dragon Boat Festival, happy Dragon Boat Festival!3.端午节英语作文Today is the Dragon Boat Festival. I came to grandma’s house in the morning. As soon as I went in, I smelled the smell of zongzi, which made me intoxicated.I walked into the kitchen and saw many zongzi in the pot. I couldn’t control my desire to eat them.I took out a zongzi from the pot and took a bite.It was very sweet. I tasted it carefully. I think my grandmother can be a cook. After eating zongzi, I went out of my house and climbed a mountain. I thought there were no people on the mountain, but as soon as I climbed up, there were still a lot of people. I wanted to be quiet, so I didn’t go up with those people. After a while, I began to climb up. On the road, I looked at the beautiful scenery around me while walking. Sometimes I would take one or two photos with my mobile phone when I met beautiful scenery. I learned to climb up, and the more lush the trees on both sides, I couldn’t express my happy mood in words.Halfway up the mountain, I was sweating, but I didn’t feel tired at all. Because in the sunshine, the pine trees on the mountain look particularly lush. Suddenly, a gust of wind with the smell of soil and flowers made me happier. The scenery here reminds me of Taoyuan fairy Valley, but there is no running water here. If there is, it willbe more beautiful.I shouted in the forest to express my mood at that time, but I didn’t expect to wake up some birds. It seems that I disturbed them to rest. They chirped. In the eyes of others, this sound is just noise, but in my eyes, this sound is a beautiful piece of music! The sun has reached the top of me, and I want to go back. I went down the mountain. At the foot of the mountain, I once saw the scenery of the mountain: it’s really intoxicating!4.端午节英语作文Today is a traditional festival - the Dragon Boat Festival. That day, Mr. Xu took us to Fulan castle and said he would give us a surprise! When I got to Fulan castle, I found a fat cook welcoming us at the door as soon as I went in! I looked at the right side. There was a rockery pool with lotus flowers, lotus leaves, and flexible and shy little goldfish. They saw me and hid all at once. The teacher led us upstairs, asked us to sit in the chairs we had arranged and told us some stories about the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival and Qu Yuan. I was fascinated. It turned out that there are so many cultures in the Dragon Boat Festival! Finally, I waited until the most intense activity - happy treasure hunt. The teacher was still talking about the rules, but my heart had already flown to the clouds, imagining the appearance of the treasure and thinking about where the treasure would be hidden? I use my golden eyes to shoot around. Where is the treasure?I finally found a coupon like a monkey jumping up and down in the gameI ran to the teacher to answer the question. The first question baffled me. I was very worried when I saw that others had left early. Fortunately, the gifted father around me told me, and I hurriedly told Mr. Xu. After answering, I took a deep breath and rushed to my father’s big stomach. I was so happy that I didn’t know what to say.On the way home, I was very happy and thought: I had a really good time today. I not only gained knowledge, but also enjoyed myself. I really hope to have such a happy day!5.端午节英语作文”Ding Ding!”The bell of the Dragon Boat Festival rings, and the annual Dragon Boat Festival is here again!I’m very excited because I can eat zongzi and watch the dragon boat race again. The zongzi we eat are made by ourselves. My grandmother and I first went to the market to buy glutinous rice and the leaves of zongzi. When we got home, I put the meat and egg yolk into the zongzi, then wrapped the zongzi into the leaves and formed a triangle, and finally steamed the raw zongzi. In this way, the delicious zongzi will be baked. We took some zongzi to the riverside and saw that the riverside was full of people. We finally squeezed in. It turned out that there were five “Dragons”across the river, and the long-awaited dragon boat race was about to begin. As the referee gave the order, the athletes rowed hard, and the drums were deafening, but the drummers remained calm, as if they were completely used to the sound.I just wanted to pick up the zongzi and start eating, but I accidentally slipped my hand and the zongzi rolled into the river. It’s a pity that I have to stamp my feet, but my mother shows a careless look, which makes me a little strange. My mother is usually the most economical. I asked my mother why she didn’t care this time. My mother said, “zongzi was originally used to throw into the river to commemorate Qu Yuan, the patriotic poet who threw into the river on the Dragon Boat Festival. The reason why people wrapped glutinous rice in Zongye was because they didn’t want fish and shrimp to eat the sacrifice to Qu Yuan; the reason why dragon boat racing was to drive away fish and shrimp and prevent them from eating Qu Yuan’s body.”My heart pounded. Although I knew Qu Yuan was a patriotic poet, I heard that he threw himself into the river because he couldn’t bear to see his motherlandinvaded, and I also knew the grandeur of Lisao. But I don’t know that people love and respect the poet so much. After his death, they will race dragon boats and make zongzi to commemorate the poet. I think it is precisely because of Qu Yuan’s talent and patriotism that he is so loved by everyone. Isn’t that what we commemorate?Dragon Boat Festival, eating zongzi and racing dragon boats, we must inherit these historical and cultural traditions!6.端午节英语作文As the saying goes: “hundreds of miles of different wind, thousands of miles of different customs.”Indeed, although many festivals are unified in China, the ways of celebrating festivals in different places are different. Here, on the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, every family eats zongzi and inserts Wormwood Leaves. My mother inserted Wormwood Leaves early in the morning. My mother said that Wormwood Leaves not only “ward off evil spirits”, but also play a certain role in disease prevention. On the Dragon Boat Festival, my mother prepared the materials for making zongzi early. This year’s DragonBoat Festival, I also plan to show my hand. I began to make zongzi. My mother helped me prepare the filling and leaves of zongzi and taught me to make zongzi step by step. Mother said, “to make zongzi, first roll the Zongye into the size of zongzi you want.” Mother gave me a demonstration as she spoke. “Then put glutinous rice in the rolled rice dumpling leaves, and press the glutinous rice tightly, so that the wrapped rice dumplings are delicious. Then, put one or two dates in the middle, and finally wrap the rice dumpling leaves and tie them with a rope.”In this way, a lovely little zongzi will be wrapped.I couldn’t wait to pick up the zongzi leaves, roll them into a special small “nest”, and then wrap the zongzi according to the steps my mother taught me. But the “obedient” Zongye in my mother’s hand was not “obedient” when I came here. Before I tied it with a rope, the stuffing was all exposed. It was wrapped several times in a row. I was a little discouraged. Mother saw my change and said to me with great sincerity: “there are difficulties in doing everything, but you can’t bow your head in front of difficulties.”After listening to my mother’s words, I was embarrassed togive up, so I had to continue to pack. The zongzi I made finally came out. It was obviously defeated when it was put together with that made by my mother. Although it’s not as good-looking as my mother’s package, I’m still very happy because I finally learned to make zongzi. One morning passed. I made a lot of zongzi. I was very happy to see the fruits of my labor. The Dragon Boat Festival has passed. I feel happy eating zongzi made by myself.7.端午节英语作文The annual Dragon Boat Festival is coming again. The Dragon Boat Festival always changes days frequently in the Gregorian calendar, but in the lunar calendar, it is always the fifth day of May. The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Dragon Boat Festival, was a major day for disease elimination and epidemic prevention in the spring and Autumn period. After Qu Yuan died in the country, it became a day to commemorate the patriotic poet Qu Yuan.In the Dragon Boat Festival, people have to race dragon boats, eat zongzi, hang wormwood and otheractivities, among which the essential thing is to eat zongzi. But my mother buys zongzi outside every year and has never made it by herself. This year, I want to make zongzi by myself, so I asked my mother to make delicious zongzi for me. Finally, at my request, my parents agreed. When all the materials were ready, my mother took out two pieces of pork, cut them into small pieces, soaked the glutinous rice in cold water for half an hour, and then washed the green zongzi leaves clean. “Since we make it ourselves, we’ll make meat dumplings different from those outside.”Mother smiled and said to me.Starting to pack zongzi, I saw my mother put three zongzi leaves in the palm of her hand, roll them into a small horn, put a layer of glutinous rice in it, then put a few pieces of pork, and then put a layer of glutinous rice. Finally, seal the mouth, press it tightly with your hand, pick up a zongzi thread with your right hand, and wrap it tightly around the zongzi for three times, followed by a perfect knot. The zongzi is even wrapped. I felt itchy, so I wrapped it like mymother, but it was either big or small, or I opened up and down, and the glutinous rice leaked out. “For the first time, that’s good.”With my mother’s encouragement, I packed more vigorously. After a while, we packed a big pot.My mother cooked the zongzi in the pot for four hours. The long-awaited zongzi finally came out of the pot. When the lid was opened, a smell came to my nostrils, including the fragrance of zongzi leaves and the taste of pork. Finally, our family happily ate delicious zongzi. This Dragon Boat Festival is very meaningful. I not only ate the zongzi made by myself, but also knew the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival and the story of Qu Yuan.8.端午节英语作文Dragon Boat Festival is one of my two favorite festivals. At this time, I remembered that today is the Dragon BoatFestival. I put on my clothes immediately and set out with my mother. My mother took me to the morning market.I found that the morning market was red. When I looked closer, I found that they were all colorful threads and gourds. I immediately put it on and went to grandma’s house. As soon as I entered the door, I smelled a wisp of fragrance. I immediately ran to the kitchen and saw the eggs on the plate Zongzi made my mouth water, but my mother said I could eat it at noon. Now you can eat an egg. Before my mother finished, I ran away with the egg.Soon it was noon. I ate zongzi, but I wondered why I ate Zongzi on the Dragon Boat Festival? Mother said: “it’s to commemorate the patriotic poet Qu Yuan. He died in the river on the fifth day of May. There’s also a beautiful legend. When the gods in the sky were moved by Qu Yuan, they told the people that Qu Yuan would become gods in the past few days and never let fish and shrimp eat Qu Yuan’s real body. Therefore, we put zongzi into the river to feed fish and shrimp. The fifthday of May is the Dragon Boat Festival, so we should eat zongzi.” I finally understand.Today’s Dragon Boat Festival, not only have fun, but also know the knowledge. I love the Dragon Boat Festival.9.端午节英语作文The fifth day of the fifth lunar month is the most distinctive day in my hometown - the Dragon Boat Festival. The Dragon Boat Festival is a very popular grand festival among the Chinese people. It is a festival set in memory of the great poet Qu Yuan.Today, we went to grandma’s house for the Dragon Boat Festival. Before we got to the door, we smelled a pungent smell. It turned out that grandma was making fried cakes. I couldn’t help but pick up one and put it in my mouth. Ah! It’s delicious and crispy. My mother said that only in the annual Dragon Boat Festival can I eat this crisp and delicious cake. After a while, I saw my grandmother bring some grass and insert it on the door. I asked my grandmother strangely, “what’s this?”My grandmother told me: “this is wormwood and Acorus calamus. Every household should insert it on the door during the Dragon Boat Festival, because their stems and leaves can produce strange fragrance, which can repel mosquitoes, flies, insects and ants, as well as evil spirits, that is, they can drive out bad things.”I was surprised: it turned out that this grass has so many effects!During lunch, I found that there were eel and yellow croaker on the table. My mother told me: “on the Dragon Boat Festival, we should eat five yellows: Eel, yellow croaker, cucumber, salted egg yolk and realgar wine. Sprinkling realgar wine indoors can disinfect and sterilize. Drinking it is also very beneficial to people’s health.”Today, there are not only many delicious food, but also let me learn a lot of knowledge. I wasso excited that I jumped out of bed and rushed to the kitchen to find my mother.”Mom, today is the Dragon Boat Festival, but I want to eat Zongzi!” As soon as I got into the kitchen, I shouted. I saw my mother like magic, from the bag “changed” a string of fat and big zongzi. The rice dumplings sent out bursts of strong fragrance, which made my mouth water three thousand feet. I’m eager to take one to relieve my craving immediately.Mother is like a little roundworm in my stomach. She points to my small nose and says, “greedy cat, I’ll get you something to eat now.”Mother used scissors to cut the rope that tied the zongzi and peel off the two layers of bamboo leaves. Zongzi turned over like a diver and fell into a bowl that his mother had already prepared. A piece of rice dumplings with complete color, aroma and flavor appeared in front of me. I saw that the rice dumplings were black, red and black, dotted with black mushrooms, white and red meat, white eggs and grains of glutinous rice, just like small pearls. These glutinous rice you stick to me, I stick to you, just like the seven brothers. After a while, I didn’t care about the leaves. I didn’t care about them.I still feel not satisfied. I want to eat another one, so I said to my mother, “Mom, another zongzi.”My mother looked at me, and suddenly burst into laughter, laughing so that even tears flowed out. I saw my mother laughing into a ball and couldn’t touch her head. She ran to the mirror and looked at me. Ah, I was like a clown in a circus and became a big face. Even the eyebrows were not “spared”. I quickly washed my face with a towel.I went back to the table and ate the second zongzi with relish. This Dragon Boat Festival is so interesting!

The Dragon Boat Festival, must not not include dumplings! Today, my sister is teaching me the dumplings! You see.
Make zongzi must be prepared. My sister was ready to
soak for three hours of glutinous rice and bought the leaves, which surprised me.
I put my rice in the leaves, and I was all over the table, and I was angry. My sister said to me, "you want to make a triangular shape of the leaf and put the rice in it!"
So I did what my sister said, and pressed it on the rice. What's in the middle of that dish? It was minced meat! I dug
a small hole in the middle of the glutinous rice and made it into a round shape, stuffing it into glutinous rice and
adding it to the glutinous rice. How can you seal it? I
looked at my sister and knew everything.
I pressed down one of the warped leaves and pressed the rope hard. Success! I covered a lot of them in the previous method. Now it's time to get the pot down, boil the water first, and then put the dumplings on.
After a while, the dumplings were cooked. The four of
you sat at the table and ate the dumplings.
I untied the rope and was trying to remove the leaves,
but when I touched it, it was hot. Her sister looked and laughed. I blew and blew the heat away. I again carefully
will leaves open, eat up to her delicious dumplings - among
all be stuffed glutinous rice, wrapped in a delicious meat, fresh juice in your mouth, no oil is not greasy, and chewy, feels so good!
So the Dragon Boat Festival in the past, his mouth to
eat with his hand package dumplings, thought the tang dynasty poet du fu wrote poems: palace clothing is famous, dragon
boat be reward. The wind is soft and the snow is light. When the weather is wet, let's go to the heat. The meaning is the length of the word, the whole life.
What a happy Dragon Boat Festival!
