过去进行时教学设计

一、教学目标:
1.理解过去进行时的意义;
2.复习并掌握动词ing的三种变化规则:直接加,去e加,双拼加;
3.掌握并能运用过去进行时的结构:was/were+doing。
二、教学重难点:
教学重点:

2. 掌握并能运用过去进行时的结构:was/were+doing。
教学难点:
对过去某个时间发生的动作可以正确的描述。
三、教学过程
Step 1. Free Talk
According to the pictures, let students talk about what the people are doing.
Step 2. Review
Let students think and say how to add V-ing. And then summarize the rule of add V-ing.
Step 3. Presentation
Give many pictures, ask students to think about what they were doing at 7:00 last week/at this time yesterday…
Step 4. Guessing
Show some pictures, let students guess what I was doing at …
Step 5. Peppa pig’s family
Show some time and some pictures about what her families were doing, let students fill in the blanks.
Step 6. Work out the rule
Let students think about the structure of the past continuous tense. Step7. Practice
Show a photo of Sandy’s family, ask students to write sentences as many as possible. And then according to these sentences, finish the writing.
Step 8. Summary
Let students think about what they have learned in this class.
Step 9. Homework
Write a short passage to tell us what your families were doing at this time last Saturday.。
