That's when all the students get together with the teacher and we plan out the lesson activities and materials for the next unit. I always enjoy these sessions because we get to be really creative and have a lot of input into how we learn.Ms. Roberts started off by reminding us of the learning objectives for the next unit, which is on describing people's personalities and character traits. The main goals are to build our vocabulary of personality adjectives, be able to use them properly in sentences, and practice skills like writing personality profiles.Then she opened it up for us to start suggesting ideas for activities, games, projects, and materials we could use to practicethose skills in a fun and engaging way. Hands shot up all around the room with cool suggestions.My friend Jamie suggested we could make personal advertising videos describing ourselves and trying to "sell" our great personality traits to the class.
