Many people wonder that how does the personality has formed.

People have wondered for a long time how their personalities are formed.

As the saying goes:”child is father to the man.”since the ttime of formation is very short,it’s hard to know why one person is intelligent while another is mofiocre.it’s knowm that these two approaches are very different from one another,and there’s a great debate between proponents of each theory.the controversy is often referred to ue”nature/nurture”.

Those who support the nature side are tend to think that our personalities are determined by the genes when we are born.what we do in the childhood is all directed by mtuition,environment,however,have nothing to do with the personality.on the other hand,our behavior is the central of the life.

In contract,these who support the nurture side consider the surrounding environment is more important than the intuition determining how we act.animals move to different places for more agreeable weather.the wild goose fly to south when winter comes and when spring comes they will fly back to the north.so will the people.the child won’t wear clothes by himself until his parents teach him.many researches have found that the environment is vitial to th growth of child.

The social and political implications of these two theories are profound . In China as well as the whoke world,the disabled and the normal people are treated distiguishly .Foe example,the number of the disabled who apply for the employmentis large,but few can find the satisfied one,they can’t do some work due to the drawback.When interviewed , the normal people hold the same academic certificate , the employer will choose the former one without hesitation . although there are many policies to support the disabled , compared to the formal , there still be a long way to achieve total equality.

This leads the nature proponent to conclude that due to the naturai drawbacks , they can’t find better work , but the nurture proponent may think that the disable are deprived of learning skills and other environmental advantages . So they can’t do as well as the noemal people.

Neither of these can state clearly the personality.It is not true to put aside them.Nobody is grown by pure nature and pure nurture.We response to the environment and behave intuitionally at the same time.The controversy will continue for a long time is certain.
