一、文体概述

约稿信是向某作者发出为某杂志、报刊等撰写稿件的请求信件。包括四个部分：（1）栏目介绍；（2）稿件内容；（3）稿件长度；（4）交稿日期。约稿信属于书信的一种，考生应把握好书信的固定格式和得体的寒暄用语。

二、必备短语

1. carry articles written by…about….登载着由……写关于……的文章

2. anything relevant/concerned 任何相关内容

3. the … section in our newspaper 我们报纸的……栏目

4. extend the deadline 延长最后期限

5. interesting and informative（内容）既有趣又充实

6. write an article with the theme of写一篇主题是……的文章

三、套用句式

1. I’d like to invite you to write an article for the English newspaper. 我想请你为英文报写一篇文章。

2. I wonder if you could write something about Chinese poems. 我想知道你是否可以写一些关于中国诗歌的文章。

3. Your article is supposed to be written within 300 words. / 300 words would be fine. 你的文章的字数应控制在300字以内。/300字就够了。

4.It would be better if we have your article before June 1. 我们在6月1日之前能收到你的文章会更好。

5. We will extend the deadline if you consider the time is not enough. 如果你认为时间不够，我们将延长最后期限。
