Describe a café that you have been to.You should say- where it is- why you went there- what you ate or drank- and explain why you liked or disliked the café.范文:I’m going to describe a café that I go to maybe once a week. It’s just down the road from where I live, near Manchester, so it’s really convenient for me to walk down there for a coffee or a bite to eat, and to use the wifi. The last time I went to this local café was on Friday afternoon.I was trying to do some work at home, but I found myself getting distracted by little jobs around the house. So I decided to have a change of scenery; I put my laptop in its bag and made the short walk to the café, where I spent the next few hours getting all of my work done. With a nice cup of coffee and just the right level of background noise, I found it much easier to concentrate.Over the course of the afternoon, I drank two cups of coffee and a glass or two of water. The café owner takes a lot of pride in making the best ‘flat white’ coffee in the area, so that’s what I tend to drink. If I remember correctly, the second coffee that I ordered was a decaf, because I try to avoid drinking too much caffeine in the afternoon. I didn’t have anything to eat on thatoccasion, but I do sometimes have one of the home-made cakes that they sell. There are a few reasons why I like going to my lo cal café. I suppose the main reasons are the coffee, the free wifi and the friendly staff. However, on Friday I also managed to sit at my favourite table near one of the windows, and the café wasn’t very busy. So the atmosphere and noise level were just right, and I was able to focus on my work without distractions for most of the afternoon. Describe a restaurant or a caféthat you likeDescribe a place for you to relax (but not your home)When it comes to a caféor a restaurant that I like, I would like to share with you my favourite spot, the Loffee. It is a small cafélocated right next to my school, and I’ve been visiting this place almost every day since it was open. The decoration style of Loffee caféis quite simple and modern, with a lot of wooden structures. There are some large paintings hanging on the wall. Apart from selling coffee and drinks, it also sells its exclusive coffee beans and pastries. Every time I walk in the Loffee café, I can smell the coffee, which makes me feel very delightful. There are only 2 staffs in the Loffee café, and I see them busy all the time. I often have to wait at least 10-15 minutes to order my drink, since there is always a long queue. Luckily, the service in this caféis quite good. They also have limited drinks and food for different seasons.I often go to this caféwhen I don’t have classes, and I will spend the whole afternoon there, to enjoy some tea and macaron, and to relax. I will also do my homework or read some booksthere. Apart from me, I’ve got a lot of friends who like to go to the Loffee cafésince it offers free wifi for customers. In addition, the Loffee caféis very popular among our students. There’s no air-conditioner in our classrooms and dormitory, so most students will go to Loffee for the air-con.That’s why I like Loffee caféso much, and I really hope that in the future there can be more relaxing place like this.Describe a place that you can read or write这个题目其实我们完全可以抛开普通的思路,很多同学一说到读书写字的地方,都会想起学校、课室、图书馆、自习室等等,其实大家有没有过去小咖啡馆做作业看看书消磨一下午的经历? Describe a cafe that you know in your hometownYou should say:where it ishow often you go therewhat kind of food they serve there (or, what service they provide)who you usually go there withand explain why you like to eat at this place/ why you choose to eat at this place.

雅思口语|Part 3原创答案(restaurant/cafe主题)Restaurant/Cafe主题Does it give people more status to eat in a restaurant rather than eat at home?Well, for some people, eating in a restaurant can give them a sense of prestige. The food of some restaurants, especially Michelin-star restaurants, can be quite pricey. Eating in such restaurants means you have the financial ability to afford those expensive food. But for myself, I don’t think so. As the development of economy, eating out is no longer a luxury. Many people eat in restaurants only with the purpose of convenience.Do people now go to restaurant more than before?Yes, I believe so. When I was a child, my families seldom went to restaurant. But now, it was different. I think the main reason is that at present many people can afford to eat out. And another important reason is that currently more and more people are becoming pretty busy. Commuters often get off work after 6 pm so they don’t have time to cook themselves. What’s the difference between eating at home and eating in a restaurant?Well, the largest difference seems to be the taste. Compared to us common people, the chefs are experts and can cook a wider range of cuisines. But in most cases, I prefer to eat at home for I think home-made food has its own charm. And the atmosphere at home is sweeter and warmer. What are some examples of unhealthy food?Hmm, unhealthy food often contains quite high calories. This kind of food includes fried chicken, soft drink and some desserts. And salted food can also have harmful effects on our health. We’d better eat less these kinds of food.雅思口语备考必备高频Part2解析+参考答案--A restaurantTopicDescribe a restaurant you knowYou should say:where this restaurant iswhat type of food the restaurant servesand explain why you would recommend this restaurant.

It’s just located in the first floor of my office building. In fact, it’s a tiny cafe with several tables inside. When the weather is good, people love to eat outside to enjoy the fresh air.I frequently go to this café with my colleagues because the food is very tasty, and the prices are extremely reasonable. They offer a wide range of coffee, including espresso, Americano and cappuccino, with a great choice of dishes, like cheese burger, seafood salad, chicken pizza and ice cream. In addition, the boss is a friendly old man, and the waitresses remember their customers and even what they like to eat. 雅思口语Part2话题范文:cafe you enjoyedDescribe a cafe you enjoyedYou should say:what special features it haswhat kind of food they offerhow often you go thereand explain why you enjoy going there高分范文:Ok right then, well the cafe that I’d like to talk to you about is one called Feibi Cafe, which is somewhere in the outskirts of the city, just a few minutes’ walk from where I live. And as for how often I go there, well I actually go there quite a lot, probably something like once or twice a week. Having said that though, it really kind of depends how busy I am. I mean, there are times when I don’t go for weeks on end because I’m simply too busy with stuff, but normally that’s not the case, and I’m there pretty regularly, as I just mentioned.Anyway, regarding what kind of things they serve there, well it’s great, because they’ve got a really good selection of both Chines e and Western food, so there’s a lot to choose from. And in terms of drinks, there’salso quite a lot on the menu, especially coffee, which you can probably imagine, what with it being a cafe and all. And I tend to normally always go for the Americano coffe e, cos I think they do it really well, and so I’ve never really felt the need to try any of the other drinks on the menu. But anyway, finally then, moving on to why I like this place so much, well I’d say it’s a combination of reasons, one of which would b e that it’s really big and spacious, at least compared to most of the other cafes I’ve been to, so you never have to worry about not finding a place to sit. Although having said that, it can sometimes get pretty busy in the evenings, so I usually tend to go in the morning or afternoon. Anyway, another thing to mention would be that the food and drinks there are pretty good-value. Because I mean, most of the Western food there only costs between about 30 to 50 yuan, which is a lot cheaper than most of the other Western restuarants in the city. And the price of the coffee there is round about the same price as Starbuck’s, which some people might see as expensive, but considering the fact that you’re paying for the environment as well as the drink, I’d say it’s definitely worth it.Oh and the other thing I really like about it is that you can spend as much time as you want relaxing there, without being bothered by the waiters. And the chairs there are nice and comfy, so it’s actually very easy to spend half the d ay there using the free wifi or doing whatever. So yeah, I guess that’s about it!Notes:Having said that though = 不过话又说回来Although having said that = 不过话又说回来something like = aboutnormally that's not the case = 一般不说这个样子go for = choosewhat with it being a cafe and all = 毕竟是个咖啡店round about the same price = 差不多一样价格considering the fact that = 考虑到Oh and ...... = 啊对了,......comfy = comfortablenice and (adj.) = 如果你对这个事情很满意的话,这个形容词前面可以加一个“nice and..." for example, "the weather's nice and sunny today" / "my bedroom is nice and bright" / "the library is 雅思口语Part3话题范文:Describe a cafe you enjoyed1.Why do people like café?The softly-furnished cafes which served tasty and refreshing coffee were a world away from greasy-spoon joints, and actually encouraged customers to linger. Drinking coffee was also seen as a way to emulate the cosmopolitan New York lifestyles showcased in hugely popular sitcoms like Friends or Seinfeld. The popularity of café culture was further cemented by the emergence of the digital age, when laptops, mobile phones, and later tablets, freed some workers from their desk.2.When people want to have discussion, why do they prefer café to restaurant?unlike the traditional restaurants, a café, such as Starbucks is what urban planners call a third place, which is neither home or work but a neutral community space where people can meet on an equal footing. A cup of coffee may be a bit costly, you can really rent yourself a pleasant, inviting living room where you can stay for a while and meet with friends or work colleagues. the surroundings are comfy, quiet and laid back where great discussion can happen.3.What kinds of people would like to go to café?First of all, The Stressed Out Student. We've all been this person: Cramming for an exam on a laptop, trying frantically to finish a term paper, and chugging so much black coffee that we're convinced the stuff is actually running through our veins. And allso the business type, Like the Time Killer, they'll spend their entire time in the coffee shop tapping away at their phone.4.Will café be popular in the future?yes, the café culture emerges in parallel with some big changes in how people live, work and interact. Urban planners speak of a “third place” which is neither home nor wo rk, but a neutral community space where people can meet on an equal footing. And the café is a best choice. In the future, more and more people will consider coffee shops to be their second office/study as they can use the space to relax and unwind, write articles, draft new ideas or improve the existing ones, read, browse the Internet, pay the bills, manage various accounts, maintain blogs and social media accounts, plan the day, eat, and finally enjoy coffee.雅思口语餐厅及咖啡馆题目Describe a restaurant or a caféth at you likeDescribe a place for you to relax (but not your home)When it comes to a caféor a restaurant that I like, I would like to share with you my favourite spot, the Loffee. It is a small cafélocated right next to my school, and I’ve been visiting th is place almost every day since it was open. Luckily, the servicein this caféis quite good. They also have limited drinks and food for different seasons.I often go to this caféwhen I don’t have classes, and I will spend the whole afternoon there, to enjoy some tea and macaron, and to relax. I will also do my homework or read some books there. Apart from me, I’ve got a lot of friends who like to go to the Loffee cafésince it offers free wifi for customers. In addition, the Loffee caféis very popular among our students. There’s no air-conditioner in our classrooms and dormitory, so most students will go to Loffee for the air-con.That’s why I like Loffee caféso much, and I really hope that in the future there can be more relaxing place like this.Describe a place that you can read or write这个题目其实我们完全可以抛开普通的思路,很多同学一说到读书写字的地方,都会想起学校、课室、图书馆、自习室等等,其实大家有没有过去小咖啡馆做作业看看书消磨一下午的经历?其实完全可以套用上文café的素材,重点加上3-4句话具体描述你在这个地方读书做作业的原因,那就可以通用了哦!Describe a good change in your local area描述一个你们当地的好的变化。

雅思口语cafeCafe, also known as a coffee shop, is a popular place for people to relax, socialize, and enjoy a cup of coffee or other beverages. It is a great place for me to meet with friends, study, or just spend some alone time.In a cafe, you can find a cozy and comfortable atmosphere with soft music playing in the background. The scent of freshly brewed coffee fills the air, creating a pleasant and inviting environment. The interior is usually decorated with comfortable chairs and sofas, creating a relaxing space for people to sit and chat.Cafes offer a variety of beverages, ranging from different types of coffee such as espresso, cappuccino, and latte, to other options like tea, hot chocolate, and smoothies. They also have a selection of snacks and pastries, such as sandwiches, cakes, and cookies, to complement your drink. One thing I love about cafes is the opportunity to try different flavors and varieties of coffee. There are often seasonal or special blends available, allowing me to explore new tastes and aromas. Some cafes even have baristas who are skilled in latte art, creating beautiful designs on the top of the coffee.Cafes are also a great place to meet with friends or have a casual business meeting. The relaxed atmosphere is conducive to conversation, and you can easily spend hours chatting away while sipping on your drink. It is a popular spot for students to study as well, as many cafes have free Wi-Fi and a quiet ambiance.Overall, cafes are not just a place to grab a quick cup of coffee, but also a space to unwind, socialize, and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Whether you are alone or with friends, it is a great place to spend some time and indulge in your favorite beverages.。
